This UPS store has got to be the best one I have ever been to in my life. The service was excellent and Ti Vuong (the owner and notary there) went above and beyond in making sure all of our needs were met. I came here needing to notarize some forms for temporary guardianship since my aunt is moving to Germany next week. Ti made sure we had everything we needed to take care of before the move. He even walked my aunt through their mailbox service that sends anything we want to the new address whenever we have new mail or packages. The store is very neatly organized and all of the employees are extremely friendly and helpful! So we had to return a mattress for Amazon, these guys are very kind and customer oriented!

Amazon returns always are a pain in the rear, regardless of how simple they try to make things. UPS has decided to amplify that irritation by adding an additional charge for printing out labels. Ti, The owner, has taken it upon himself to add an additional $2.75 to printing out labels for Amazon returns. I have never, ever experienced that in any Seattle UPS. But this guy, way out in Renton, decides that's the fair thing to do! When questioned... Employees and the owner get very defensive and insist that they need to make a profit too. Well... I think you are... Being the fact that you charge an arm and a leg for shipping something to begin with LOL. It's almost easier to go out of the way and find the closest USPS for return items. This UPS location and the other that this particular owner operates from... Are a complete waste of time! read more

Emailed an Adobe file to the location, then went in today to have 8 color copies produced then bound. Was told that this is the busiest shipping day of the year and won't be able to get to it. That there is customers coming in with packages to be shipped for the Holidays, and that has a priority. So I guess essentially that if I wasn't shipping a package today, I was not that important. Told they probably wouldn't get to it until tomorrow. read more

We are within walking distance of this UPS store and have used it many times. There is sometimes a wait but we have always been satisfied with the experience and are grateful we have one in our neighborhood. The owner told me that they do not receive any compensation from companies like Amazon to receive the many packages that are mailed back. That all goes to UPS central. I had to ship some items overseas that required refrigeration. The customs/requirements for that particular country were vague, but the owner, Ti went out of his way to help me. He made sure everything was properly documented and that my items would stay cool on a three day delivery, which they did. Outstanding service. Thank you! read more

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Don't waste your time coming here! Came to do a simple 5 minute color printing and the owner/asian manager refused to provide the service when they in fact offer it. I waited in line for awhile just the way other people did and when it got to my turn he refused to do the printing and said those who are mailing packages takes priority. Mind you it is in early afternoon and last UPS mail pickup isn't for another few hours and there were only 3 people behind me. DON'T offer the service if you are NOT going to provide it. Would give this place NO stars if Yelp permitted SMH. Wasted my drive, time and energy. read more

Customer service is superior! I drop off packages frequently and they always help me out with a smile. Today I was shipping gifts for Christmas and they saved me $20 by putting my items in a smaller box! They offer so much personal help which now days is hard to come by! read more

The staff at the UPS was very helpful to me. I was trying to ship a printer, and the box I purchased was a bit taller than needed. They help me cut the box down and made sure padding is adequate for shipping. Also, I called them several times, and each time they answer the phone quickly. They also addressed all my questions. Something has changed at the Fairwood location. I used to go out if my way to patronize this local business because the ownership and staff were friendly and helpful. The last couple of visits, not so much. Especially yesterday's visit. I walk in with four packages requiring shipping. The employee started to help me, puts one package on scale. Never says a word to me, another customer comes in and she immediately turns away from and helps the customer. Completely ignoring me. Another employee comes over to help me after a couple of minutes. Very unprofessional and frankly rude. I needed a piece of tape on each box and was told they would charge me $5 for 5 pieces of tape??????? I want the business to stay profitable but $1 per piece of 10" tape??? Unfortunately I will no longer go to this location and do my shopping downtown by my office. Too bad and explains why business' in this area of Fairwood are struggling.
