This review is very strictly for this store location and does not represent how I feel about FedEx as a company (I hate them). I had a package sent to my house with my address, but not for me. I headed down to Kent Station to RTS the package and was promptly greeted by Manuel. He filled out a RTS slip and had me in and out in no time flat! The store itself was very clean and had an open feeling to it. The fun/infuriating part? That same package came back to my house 2 days later. The package had a different address on it so it was a 100% incorrect delivery and the driver's fault for not being able to follow GPS/read. Definitely not this location's fault - this is a perfect example of why I started refusing to use FedEx many years ago. Looks like my decision is still a good choice. read more

This place is absolutely amazing! What i should say is that the employees here are amazing! First off, I went there with only one thing in mind, and that was to have some copies printed out for my dad's Celebration of Life programs. As I was there, and speaking with the insightful and friendly young lady, I discovered they also enlarge photos onto thick foam boards. In no less than a day!! Totally blew my mind, but even more so... the price was not at all what I was expecting. So much cheaper than what I thought it should/would be. Either way, they did a phenomenal job with my requests, and completely understood the time constraints I had. With that said, there was a snafu. The foam boards came in, but the edging (border) was the wrong size and the ink was beginning to peel on the corners. They called me, explained what happened, and said they reordered them. I was in panic mode now, as I needed them the next day for the celebration. They totally came through! 100% as the pictures came as originally ordered and on time!! I love it! The service and their commitment to satisfy the customer is priceless. I strongly encourage and recommend their services to you (hint-since Costco got rid of their photo center FedEx Office has got your back) for your copies, picture developments, banners, posters, and many various sorts. Please keep in mind this review is for FedEx services not necessarily this office. I found the office personnel to be responsive but lacking empathy. I executed two transactions with in two weeks. The second one was 14 March with a scheduled delivery by 16 March, the envelope arrive today March 24. I paid a premium cost for the expedited delivery. I am not a happy customer, I will never use FedEx again. I called the location and they stated there's no guarantees. I do know that UPS offers guarantees, that's who I will use for expedited deliveries. read more

I went to FedEX in Kent Station, although I was planning to go to a different one who had helped me with weird problems in the past. I didn't catch the women's names. one was a pleasant women with brown greying hair, a nice smile. I had had this horrible problem returning my Sketcher to Amazon. I never had problems with returns. But I had 7 or 8 copies of approvals that supposedly had return label on them . Except the space was blank. After calling Amazon directly I finally got a label. When I downloaded it to my drive. I took off for FedEX. Seems that I can't email this label. I could email everything else in my drive. The very kind woman worked with me for at least 20 minutes. She said maybe she could "direct" something. She was having trouble when this younger (of course) woman stepped in. Took her a while to get it done. And voila! I was done! It was sneakers from Great Britain that had at least eight pages of shipping label! These two saved my life! You can imagine an little old lady trying to fix this. Do not have your packages shipped here. I came at 5:30pm on a Friday night and had to wait 20 minutes to pick up my package. There were 8-10 customers in the store and some of them just started leaving because of the long lines. read more

Pre-COVID, this place was great! Quick and efficient. Now the line outside is over half a dozen deep outside, most of us with prepaid shipping labels, waiting to drop. The door is locked with no contact from employees. They avoid eye contact with anyone outside. I called the store and was told they were at captivity AFTER I witnessed 3 people leave. Still no communication with the people in line outside. I understand limiting people in the store, but if they would COMMUNICATE that would make this easier and far less frustrating. Also, a hand scanner that prints receipts would have helped eliminate the line. read more

The service was quick and the person working there at the time was very helpful. I needed to send a large book out to New Orleans and the cost wasn't too bad for ground. Roughly $11 for a 7-8 lb book. Overall satisfied, the place wasn't busy and I was helped quickly. Maybe because the hours were odd, maybe for some other factors. I have been in this place two times and each time I HAPPEN to go there is this guy that works there who is o so rude? This last time however pissed me off to no end and if I could find some where else to do my faxing I would never go back!! He has this I hate ppl, or I'm too cute attitude first of all. I get to the front counter and this lady is just having a good ole conversation and shes like o I'm sorry I'm done. So I'm still standing there. Not once does he acknowledge that I was standing there? Never said just one moment I'll be right with you or someone will be with you in a moment. I'm like okay? Still waiting 5 minutes later and he NEVER ONCE takes his eyes off the computer even though I was staring a hole in in skull. SO RUDE!! He flat out ignored me??? So FINALLY this other lady comes from the back and I told her I needed help because I don't know how to use the copy machine. She helps me alright by telling me to put my credit card in the machine and make sure the papers were face up. Now didn't I say I didn't know how to use the machine? Anyway I was already annoyed so I said FINE THANK YOU. Walk over to this unfamiliar looking machine that doesn't look anything like the one at work. I start pushing buttons thinking OK this isn't so hard. Until my paper comes out in a HUGE coloring book type of paper. So I try again this time I get two copies after pushing another set of buttons. By this time I was like FORGET it I'm done I wasn't about to go back to the counter to speak to HIM and then she irritated me too so. GRRR I will not go back in there until I calm down. read more

I visit this store often, and every aspect of the service is fantastic. Employees are always as quick as they can be (given that there are always more customers than employees), and they are very accommodating with all of my special requests. Even though I live closer to the Southcenter store, I always choose this location because of the efficiency and better customer service. read more

This place is awesome. Really helpful staff. The Tukwila Kent Office could not help me with a banner so I called this place and the courteous clerk offered to call them and walk them thru it. I said, no, since you seem to know what you are doing I will come there. And so I did. I was not shuffled to a print machine and told to do it myself, as in the other place. I have had similar issues as Spike so well explained. I always seem to get the B team here and it takes forever to get service. Last time the computer went down so I just went over to the USPO and was in and out in less than five minutes. That is also not usual for the Kent Post Office but they were far above the Fed Ex crowd this day. read more

Do not go here if you are in a hurry - they usually onlt have ONE person working....and have been told it would take at lest an hour until they could assist me (I just needed them to throw a spine on a report for me), Prices are high as well (to fax 2 pages to renton was 6 bucks). Staff is a hit and miss....some are nice and others are rude. I usually go to the Tukwila Kinkos/Fedex if I need anything (it's a lot larger too). Today I have a major problem with Fed Ex in Kent. Misinformation and mislead for shipping internationally. I was told overnight to Canada is possible and the invoice list was sufficient. No both untrue and impossible. My package is held up in customs, the list was not specific enough and it willl be 3 to 4 working days to start to get it back to me and then I'll have to pay again and then I'll have to call the billing/refund dept to try to get charges reversed if that is possible. This was important and I asked the questions in detail and misinformation all the way and at a cost of money and time and stress. Before this I haven't had problems with misinformation. The service was friendly though and efficient just not accurate today. read more

I went in to ship two packages for my boyfriend so he'd get them by valentines day. The big red head guy working there was a complete asshole the entire time and talked to me like I was an idiot. He didn't tell me the price difference of 2 day shipping vs 3 day shipping until he already rang it all up and went I decided to change it to 3 day he made a big deal about it. I also asked for one package to have a "this side up" sticker so the stuff in the package wouldn't get messed up, and I reminded him before I left the store and he replied "I already told you I would put a sticker on the package" in a very demeaning tone. If I could give this place less than one starI would both times I've been here they were having issues receiving emails and the second time I came to try and print out a shipping label the girl who is working this morning had brown hair and glasses and initially claimed the system for not being able to find the email that I sent multiple times through my computer which I've never had a problem doing it any other locations by the end of the visit she proceeded to scold me and play my phone which I didn't even use for the issues and then tell me that she's really good at her job and she gets paid super well I can't believe the unprofessionalism at this specific location the other employee I dealt with was just as rude and unhelpful and when I walked in initially I had to wait a good five minutes before she would even greet me or come over to see what I needed I guess customer service here is dead. It's sad when your job is literally just checking emails and sending packages you have to be that rude to someone who is dealing with an error that is your company's fault. read more

Unless there is a United and Service in the name I suggest to avoid the shipping company: I will preface this review with this being the same experience I have every time I deal with FedEx so I came into the store expecting the usual runaround I always get from the various FedEx dealings I have had in the past. I will say that this time actually Exceeded my expectations for How Horrible of an experience I have had with FedEx. Please note this is not about the person behind the counter as his service was great and he really tried to do the best he could. His manager sounds like she's useless as he was advocating for me and she explained that they couldn't accept a package they couldn't process right then and there because of their own system not being able to change a date! We live in the 21st century now but you'd never know it working with FedEx because apparently even though they are a 24x7 business their point of sale systems are not. All I needed was to return an item that was the wrong size to the company that sent it to me. After filling out the customs form gathering all of the various bits of information which has always been a snap maybe a couple of minutes at USPS or UPS. Finally I thought the package would be shipped, not so. Long story short after ONE HOUR of trying to get the thing shipped and another 40 minutes on the phone with Koby and his escalation manager to Guadalupe (actually about 6 minutes with 34 minutes on hold with those two and I wish I could have actually gotten a rep ID but that was the most identifying information I could get with these two and in typical third world English is the third language form despite all that time on hold I had to reexplain the issue several times) and another 15 with the FedEx store manager, we reached an impasse where No FexEx Store in the entire United States of America was capable of accepting the package any sooner than Tuesday (this was on a Sunday afternoon and other people were told that if they "overnighted" the package to Eastern WA. less than 200 miles away their package would not arrive until possibly Thursday! and that same day delivery is only available through the phone, yes the same useless people I was just working with) and that even though customer service was capable of what the stores were not and actually processing a label to get it shipped there was no way for them to simply email the label to the store or anything option that would actually make sense. So I guess I will see if I can have someone who doesn't work during the day try and ship this for me. read more
