This is my go-to UPS location due to proximity to my house. It's a busy location/area though so you have to be prepared to fight being for parking and stand in line. However, now that they have added the Amazon self return area that has really sped up the process and allowed everyone to get service quicker which I really appreciate! read more

This is about UPS's Second Day Air service--completely unreliable. I paid for express shipping for frozen food, and not only is it late by several days, but the package is already sitting in my city and won't be delivered for four more days. I contacted customer service and was passed between slow, unhelpful chat reps who clearly weren't trained or fluent. Now they're spamming me with "delay updates" instead of fixing the issue. Save your money. UPS Ground is apparently faster than their premium service--and way cheaper. read more

Question: when is appropriate for a store manager, Shaun, to call a customer in front of his wife and other customers an "A$$HOLE?" I was called this because I was insistent that the store had some responsibility for putting labels on two separate packages that had the same tracking numbers and resulted in a lost package. BACK STORY : I previously on an earlier visit paid $7.00 for them to print the labels and adhere them to the two packages. I left the store without noticing the separate receipts had the same tracking numbers but neither did the counter person. When I found out one package never made it to its destination, I was insistent they should help me understand what happened could direct me to their insurance company to get reimbursed for a lost package I was told by the manager there was nothing they could do and they would not contact their insurance company because it was my fault that I had two packages with the same tracking numbers. I asked them to prove it was my fault and that is when the manager called me an A$$HOLE. I never raised my voice I never cursed. I was just insisting it was not my fault! I told Shaun, the manager, there was no need to call me a name but he didn't like that and mumbled some other insult as I left the store. read more

Thank you to Joseph, I believe was his name, who told me yesterday WHEN I CALLED TO MAKE SURE that you would be able to send my tax payment and make it trackable, for around $14-$15. I WALK up there (as I do not drive) and they proceed to tell me THEY WILL NOT MAIL IT, IT HAS TO GO TO THE POST OFFICE, which I was trying to obviously avoid since I have had checks stolen and washed by USPS employees. Unbelievably incompetent and lazy. First I waited 5 minutes while one employee helped a patron and two other employees joked around in the back, ignoring me. Then, one of them, who I learned was the manager, came up and suggested that I use their self-service station next time I have to wait in line. I asked her if she herself could help me with the package I brought in to return. I had it wrapped in original packaging, and had clicked on the retailer's return link. *The link took me to a UPS return page * Manager told me that UPS can't facilitate the return because it said USPS on the print label. I pointed out that it came from their website and the label also said "UPS Mail Innovations Returns." She said there was nothing she could do and that I would have to take it to USPS or discuss my options with the retailer. She was not interested in recognizing my confusion or helping resolve the issue. I asked her if she could help explain why it wouldn't work if it was from the UPS website and had UPS on the label. She refused to explain anything to me. This was a very frustrating experience, and I'm surprised she was given the role of manager. read more

If I could give 0 stars this place would entirely deserve it. Not only are the employees extremely rude and constantly avoiding helping the customers, but the manager encourages this behavior. He tried justifying their terrible service by saying this is just a UPS franchise so they have no incentive to help customers with prepaid packaging, so they don't. Even if the self kiosks are over flowing, the employees will never offer help and will blatantly ignore customers. I contacted the manager and he practically said it's not their problem. read more

The store manager, Denise, is wonderful. I walked in with a bunch of boxes of corporate equipment I was directed to send back with no idea how to do it. I was having a tough week and in a rush to pick up family from the airport. Despite me being unorganized and frustrated, Denise was patient and figured out how we could work together to make it happen. Sometimes you just need to let the professionals do the packing and shipping. When one of those times arise, I come to the UPS and let them do it for me. I bought an owl cookie jar for my cousins birthday gift, along with other miscellaneous smaller gifts. My original plan was to drive them down to Columbia, MO myself. However, life happens and my schedule changed up and I needed to get his gifts to him pronto. His three gifts were all wrapped in gift paper and the greeting card celebrating his 29th birthday was ready to go. When I arrived at the store, I was immediately greeted by a cheerful staff member. He listened to my needs and asked if any of the items were fragile. When I told him yes, he explained the necessity of using a larger box to accommodate the bubble to protect my fabulous gift. After completing the paperwork, he gave me a tracking number and informed me that my gifts would arrive the next day. I texted the tracking number to my cuz so he'd know he had a surprise waiting for him when he got off work. UPS rescued me, delivered my gifts quickly and safe. The price was more then a tank of gas, but it was well worth it. My time is valuable and this saved me big time. I'll be back? - If the need arises, I use them again and again. The sign in the door says 6:30 close. I arrived at 6:07 for an Amazon return and the store was locked up tight. The next morning I presented my returns and the man at the counter bagged my items, scanned the code generated by Amazon and sent me on my way. A week later and my Amazon account hasn't been credited, UPS can't tell me where my returns are, and the tracking number hasn't been updated since "label created." Either someone working there is side-hustling Amazon returns or they are incompetent. Do not ever bring your Amazon returns here- take them to Kohl's because they always get it right! read more

I had to do an Amazon return. Instead of a label Amazon had me print out a barcode and told me to bring the barcode and the item to any UPS store to drop off. I chose this one since it's near one of my morning bagel places. They processed it immediately and I received my refund promptly within 24 hours. A lot of things have gotten so much easier! I bought three pairs of shoes on Nike website when I go to return they gave me one QR code for two boxes and three pairs of shoes neither the UPS distribution center or the UPS store can help. basically refused my shipment and told me I needed to buy a new box for 26 dollar even though all were package in originals, or get new QR labels from Nike and to contact Nike and don't hold up the line. There's not a whole Lotta customer service there. I would expect more about one these top dogs companies. Make it easy to buy and ship to u but not so easy to return and reimburse your monies. Marty and the boys do a good job of preping and mailing your stuff. It can be expensive to have them do the packaging, so I prefer to just have them ship the good out. I've been using them for UPS ground shipments for years and never a problem. Parking can be a problem at this location as its between a SPRINT store and a Yoga place and very busy. read more

This place is awful! They took my packages to go back to Amazon and only 2 of the 3 made it. They take no responsibility or have any mechanism to track that package. Since I didn't ask for a receipt they didn't give me one so now I can't prove that I brought it in. Even if I had the receipt the responsibility is on UPS not the store. Even with the tracking number they have no way but to look thru paper copies of all 500 packages on a given day that are printed in some random order.....really? On top of that, the manager needs some work on customer service. He was neither helpful or courteous. Defensive from the get go. I do NOT recommend this store! read more

My husband had to mail something urgently today. He went to one UPS Store location in Brentwood, but they closed about 15 minutes before he got there, so he frantically drove to this location in hopes of making it. I called while he was en route, confirming they were open until 7, but the woman on the phone was super rude and emphasized that they closed at "7 SHARP." I just called to confirm the hours; I didn't ask her to stay open later or anything. He made it to the door at 7 --- maaaybe 7:01 -- and saw the woman closing up, and she was mouthing something but he couldn't understand her. So instead of opening the door and maybe helping him, she just pointed to the sign and left it at that. I get it, you have certain hours that you're open until, and his package probably wouldn't have even gone out until the morning anyway, but I think that was a rude way of handling it -- both on the phone and in person. I'm all about supporting small businesses, but I won't be going to this location ever again. The employees at the Brentwood location are helpful and kind, unlike here. Go there instead. read more

I have been a mail box renter at this UPS store for a couple of years. When Marty left I thought the new manager was just as a nice person as Marty was, but he isn't. There have been several times where he ended our conversations by abruptly walking away for no reason. The true him came out today when an issue came up and he put the blame on me when a mistake was made in the store and had nothing to do with me. When my lease is up, the end of my contract with this store will begin. There are many places to rent a mail box. This is not the only store. I saw a very ugly side of Andrew today that shows that he's not a very customer oriented person and he's just covering up how he really feels about me and possibly the customers in general. Don't be like me and consider walking into Katie's Pizza to see if there's a hidden UPS store in the back. -_- This place gets the job done. No complaints. The wait was not terrible, about 5min, around 3pm on a weekday. FYI UPS Stores will handle your USPS mail but their rates are will be higher than what USPS would charge you. If you're looking for a one-stop-spot to handle all packages then UPS would be the way to go. Otherwise go to USPS half a mile away on Big Bend Blvd. read more

I have been a box holder at this location for 8 years! I visited the Brentwood and Rock Hill locations and their stores were so congested with merchandise it made me claustrophobic. Parking can be a challenge here, but Marty is a genuinely good guy that will help you any way that he can and he expects the same from his staff. Those that complain about the condition of their boxes and give them a bad review need to learn the difference between the RETAIL side of UPS and the actual delivery company ( which is on Jefferson, not a retail location, but a UPS hub).
