Carriers try to cram mail that is really a package into your box so you risk breaking your mailbox in an effort to try to remove it, Also, I live in a large condo community and routinely get other people's mail in my box--sometimes the mail is for someone that lives in the same zip code, but not in our community! Most recently the carrier was parked in the middle of the driveway that I must pass through in order to get to my unit. She was talking to a resident who was also parked alongside--there was no way to go around either of them. I actually had an important conference call that I needed to join and It took them several minutes to finish their conversation and get out of the way. When I honked my horn, the postal carrier glared at me! Unprofessionalism, lack of quality, lack of consideration and half-assed service. It's the wave of the future! And again, "quack?" Yes, I also like spouting insults that no one has said since the 70s. I also find it quite funny that this location had no reviews, but then a negative one gets posted and less than a month later a glowing one comes out of nowhere and bashes me. Seems like quite a strange coincidence. GET HELP. This place is right down the road from my house, it takes maybe 3 minutes to get there if even. And it's within walking distance from my job, so if i wanted to mail something during my break I could. But I would still rather take the trip to Moriches. No, it's not an everyday task going to the post office, but much like Greek Bites, the treatment I've received makes me want to avoid giving these people money as much as possible. The elderly customers like to strike up conversations with the two WOMEN, NOT girls, there, who make no effort to stop it. Maybe if the place were empty, but when it's a late Friday afternoon and there are three or more agrivated looking people who just got off work waiting to be helped, that's really unprofessional and rude. And when I'm trying to very quickly mail off a package to my grandmother in Florida, being mindful to the group behind me, I don't need to be schooled in front of a crowd about why they think saying "happy holidays" is dumb to them. Stop the hissy fit, get over yourself and come to peace with the fact that you can't get let it ruin your day that people celebrate different holidays. We can't all be the same, Susan. Calm down. You're in customer service and are embarrassing yourself. And besides the customer "service," my family has had several experiences of packages getting lost, each time when mailed from here. HMMM. I can't speak for everyone of course, but we haven't had these complications at the post office in Moriches. Just saying. So hate me for this or don't, I don't care. I didn't choose this place, I was sending a purchase to a customer who chose this method of shipping. If you can use USPS to ship, you should. I never write reviews but Owen was so incredibly unprofessional I had to let it be known.
