Confirmation email not honored by staff

I needed a document notarized. Notarization takes less than one minute. When I arrived I was told I need to make an appointment. I asked when this policy started and was told June 2020. I have had two items notarized since then without the need for an appointment, and both took less than one minute. I left the store and made an appointment on their website for 10:00 the following morning. When I showed up at 10:00 with my confirmation number I was told they don't do notarizations before 11:00 and I would have to make another appointment. They showed absolutely no concern for their customer's needs and completely disregarded the fact that I had a confirmation email with a confirmation number that clearly stated 10:00 a.m. The employee I spoke to was very dismissive and the other employee I attempted to speak to just stared at me with no response. I will no longer be using this location.

I'd give it negative stars if I could. Charging $10 to print one piece of paper? F off. Rude manager.

She was very kind, helpful, pleasant and considerate. I went in today to return two large boxes from the same company, that were unopened, just two new return labels attached. Again, these labels would not scan. The older man who responded to my problem was very rude, impatient and unprofessional and I should add accusatory. I was unfamiliar with how the process worked and when I asked a question, his response felt rushed and unhelpful. He was very annoyed that I bothered him.

I went in yesterday holding my 8-pound, adorable little Maltese, but instead of a friendly greeting or casual chat, I was met with an angry, aggressive tone, saying, I don't allow dogs. " When I said I was holding him, he said he didn't care and didn't allow dogs. Keep in mind that the customers in front of me were fawning over the puppy and petting him as the owner was being so cruel to us, causing us to feel humiliated and spoken down to in front of an audience. Consider hanging a large sign on the door stating you don't allow dogs. On the island, everyone is dog-friendly and accommodating. FedEx, UPS, and USPS will let you bring your dog in your carry bag or your arms, especially if it weighs less than 10-pounds. I encourage you to give them your business instead. Let's support deserving companies to grow. There's a reason some businesses thrive while others struggle to stay afloat; it all comes down to customer service. Update: I'm attaching a screenshot of the private message the owner sent me in which he threatened to scar my dog emotionally. Whoa! This is a whole other level of low. Not only did he treat me horribly and humiliate me, but he also couldn't take any criticism about the level of rudeness and unprofessionalism he displayed. If wanting good customer service implies I'm "entitled," then I'm guilty! Me and the other 99% of people on the planet. PS - I've included a picture of my puppy that the owner threatened to "scar emotionally."

Exterior The strip mall is a bit run down, dated but nothing off-putting. There is plenty of free parking. Interior I didn't move past the print center, but store seemed clean and well organized from what I could see. Customer Service They can be VERY hard to reach by phone. When I called Monday, I kept getting put on hold and when I did eventually talk to someone in the print center, I was given GROSS misinformation that resulted in a LOT of wasted time (reprinting two large, 24 x 36 poster). I was basically told that you can't trim a laminated poster because it will separate, so I was directed to re-submit my entire order. On the day I finally ventured in to get my re-prints, my experience completely changed. Tommy was kind and patient and the store manager was phenomenal. I asked her name - even wrote it on the receipt so I could mention it, but now I've mislaid the receipt so I can't remember her name. They both went through great pains to get my order issues corrected and to make sure the print fit the frame. While waiting, I was able to observe the manager's interactions with the several customers and she was always friendly and upbeat. I don't care how long the line got, she turned and made eye contact along with a quick greeting and assurance them they'd be taken care of shortly. Overall Overall, I'd definitely frequent the store if I still lived locally. My home town has changed quite a bit over the years, but it's the down-home friendliness like this that makes me often miss the charm of small towns.

Lol. No stars deducted. Customer Service Is that a home run?!! Yep! They knocked it outta the park!!! I'd driven up here and after glancing at the long lines, left without going inside on 3 different occasions. Not because I'm an impatient nut, but because as per usual, I'm operating on the whims of others - so I had to be back at ye olde homestead to meet with yet another contractor. Today - I had an hour before I needed to be back in Darien so I ventured in, ready to wait. I had a book queued up on my phone to help reduce my crowd-induced anxiety. There were about 11 people ahead of me and 3 people ventured in right after me. After standing in line for less than 60 seconds, a young, blonde guy (sorry didn't get his name) came from behind the counter and said, 'Ok - who has labeled items and is just dropping off?' I explained that I didn't have labels, just QRC's and he amended his statement. He then used his handheld to take care of me and 4 other individuals. It's little stuff like this that makes my heart sing. I've been inside stores where there are 3 folks working and one person will be chilling and just looking at their phones, while 2 employees take care of customers - and the line is out the door - with customers standing there waiting and wondering how long it's gonna take. I love an employee who believes in efficiency and knows how to be proactive. Overall Keep up the good work.

Unlike the state park that is the entirety of Jekyll Island, St. Simons is densely populated, with relatively little greenspace. On a map, most is city grey. Luckily, the St. Simons Land Trust has claimed most of the northern end of the island, and it is a lush sanctuary for wildlife and vegetation. The site where St Simons Land Trust's offices sit, was going to be a Dollar Tree. I know in my tree-hugging heart that this is a better choice, but I do love my DT. That said, SSLT has various smaller properties around the island, some as small as a fraction of an acre. Whatever they can get their hands on, they'll grab, because greenspace is limited, especially on an island. They have information about every preserve or other land holding on the main page of their website, even the smallest ones, that are not developed into anything for the public to visit. They also divulge the funding sources for many of these acquisitions. The staff in the office is very friendly. I called a few times before visiting their properties. All are free, and leashed dogs are allowed at most. They recommended I stop by and pick up a "Passport" for my son, which is a cute little booklet highlighting the special flora and fauna unique to each of their properties, and kids can check stuff off as they go. It's free, and it's very well done, not only to use in the field, but to keep as a souvenir to take home. SSLT is doing great work, and I am excited to watch what they do with their acquisitions, and hope they are able to buy up as much of the remaining land as they can!
