When it comes to shipping, I never know the difference between what goes to the post office and what goes to UPS. I think it's funny but the looks on the employees faces at the post office counters tell me otherwise... They make it really easy to ship things. This UPS store is located in Sugarhouse and it's next to Lil Lotus restaurant, Sundance Catalog Outlet, same shopping center that has the tiny Target, but it's further down on the opposite side. Easiest way for me to get here has always been to take Highland or 2100 S, pass Barnes n Noble, hope direction wise you can find the UPS store on your LEFT hand side, especially if you see Barnes n Noble, it's on the same street as that! read more

It took me a minute to get to this review because I had to think about how to tell this. So here we go. I paid $282.00 for overbite shipping, only to get notified they sent the package to the wrong warehouse in California; meaning I would have to wait an extra day to get my package. My local delivery gal was told what was in this package and why I had paid so much to get the package delivered overnight when it didn't come I asked her to kindly watch for it. Well she did just that for me. The next day she saw the package and it was marked to deliver the day after Christmas which would have been the 5th day so she was able to get the package and delivered it to me the day before Christmas. FYI my very important heart medication in it I had accidentally left it behind when I left Utah. I was able to get only 2 days of said meds from the pharmacy which is the law and I had to pay cash for that plus my bag was torn. I called several times and spoke with what could only be every employee at that location. But the owner never responded to my 2-3 emails or phone calls. Though I was refunded $232 but never the $100 for the bag the ruined nor did they pay me back for the meds I had to pay cash for. What horrible customer service I received regarding this issue. The owner is irresponsible.and uncaring of what they put me through. He doesn't give any of his employees to make appropriate decisions to pay for this issue. Therefore, I would NEVER recommend UPS at this location to anyone. Highland drive in Sugarhouse Utah. Good luck if you choose to go with this location they can't be trusted in my opinion. read more

I came into this store on 7/30 i verbably requested from the store employee this package needs to arrive on saturday saturday tomorrow delivery saturday july 31st the guy confirmed with me he said for a Saturday july 31st delivery woudl i like by 10:30 am for 56.92$ or would i like a erlier time for another ammount it was like 90 some dollars and change somewhere around there just under 100$ so i said the 10:30 am the Stupid Employee put in for August 2nd delivery after verbally confirming I have a reading disability and i told this guy i have a disability with reading and to confirm verbally it was for saturday the 31st he said yes and confirmed well i found out when my brother text me thismornng saying it wont be there till august second. I went into the store and the store employees said well you agreed to a august 2nd delivery so there is nothing we can do no refund and no rerouting of the package at there own cost because i agreed to the terms and they are putting all the blame on me i am sure the ADA american with dsiablity act would love to hear my story and any disacrimination lawer would love to hear it also cause i will bring hell down on this store in publicity every way i can because this store needs to learn how to take responsbility and customer service. all i could get was the name of the new manager from the employes his name is ALex well alex you need to train your staff and teach them how to be decent people cause you are responsible for them read more

unfortunately i have to use this ups store because it is next to my work and at least the packages and letters that i sent out with ups get delivered unlike others however late. always late on the delivery date. better than fed ex and usps yes who constantly lose letters and packages. i sent some important paperwork to FL DMV on November 22nd they said the paperwork would be delivered by november 29th. they sat with my package from november 22nd until november 27th when they finally mailed it out! now my important paperwork will be 6 days late. thank you ups for nothing read more

I like this UPS store the most because they will fax things for you, unlike at Kinko's, where it is do-it-yourself. They have vintage post office boxes for rent, packing material, and really cute greeting cards!! The staff is very nice and they are not too nosy, which I like! I do not worry when handing over personal documents here for faxing. If you are copy machine deficient like me, you can get help here with a smile. I have use this UPS store in numerous times, never for an international shipping mainly because of the highest rates compared to USPS I need to send a package that had to be delivered in certain date, it was an important When I was asked the value of the package I told it was under $50. However on the employees decided that each item on the package had a value of $50 so the total value of my package raised to $300 Of course at the moment that this package was delivered there was a charge of $75 on taxes This happened on a Monday, I called UPS to find out what happened and they explained to me so I called to the store. For 2 DAYS I couldn't reach the manager or the owner. An employee told me that until Wednesday I would be able to speak to the manager Wednesday first thing in the morning that manager called me before doing a research to tell me that it was not their issue. I explained what happened and that UPS said that this has to be fixed from the shipping point, the manager keep insisting that he hasn't never done this I told him that if the store is not doing it then my package will be returned (it will take a week) then I will have to re ship it again and it will be another week At this point I'm very frustrated so the manager and instead of the manager telling me that he will try to do everything that he can to fix, he started yelling at me that he wasn't going to pay anything and proceeded to called me freaking jerk twice I drove to the store and I confronted him, of course he denied and he said that he will paid from his own pocket, I didn't want that, and it is not fair. I just want that he called UPS Whatever happens with my package, if it is going to be returned or not, the damage is done. I dropped off a package that had to be overnighted a d I agreed to the $86 charge. Dropped it off on Saturday, Feb 13, at 11:30 in the more, for a Monday delivery. When I called them out that the were sitting on their rear ends not doing anything, I raised my voice a bit and used a different word for rear end, They decided I really wasn't worth helping, not that I was getting anywhere to begin with. I had a very bad customer service experience at this location today. I politely offered suggestions how to best safely box the items I was shipping when the young store employee did not seem to much knowledge about how to pack items safely and efficiently in the smallest possible shipping box. He insisted it made no difference because a different size box would not change the shipping cost. I politely asked to please try a box with the dimensions I knew would work best, and asked if I. Oils please, please pack the items in the box myself. I fit all items safely and closely packed in the smaller dimension box by myself and closed and sealed the box, and yet was charged 12.75 for packing, and the young employee was visibly unpleasant and nasty, making me feel very uncomfortable.
