I came in and Ciaria helped me through a birthday box showing up today. She went above and beyond for me. She tried to track down the box and to even so if I could pick it up so it would be there on Sunday, the birthday party. Her words of encouragement were all I needed. She gave the woman on the other end my phone number. At 7:33 pm I received a call that this other lady had looked through the truck and some of the buildings for the gift. It wasn't to be found. Unfortunately, I'll need to echo the chorus of folks unhappy with the COVID considerations at this location. I've always had a great experience here, and the folks have been both pleasant and efficient. But a face shield, sans mask, is simply not a safe approach to this virus. Quoting the CDC, "CDC does not recommend using face shields or goggles as a substitute for masks." Or the Utah DOH, "It is not known if face shields provide any benefit to protect others from the spray of respiratory particles. The CDC does not recommend use of face shields instead of a cloth face covering, or for normal everyday activities." As somebody who recently lost a close family member to COVID, these things matter. I fully appreciate that masks are a pain and that we're all trying to get by, including small businesses. But if those same businesses want us to set foot in their building prior to widespread vaccination, we all need to do better. read more

If you are concerned about contracting Covid you might want to choose a different UPS store. I've always had great experiences here, but today went in, the agent/owner was wearing a shield but no mask. i asked if he would put on a mask and he said his shield was the same as a mask. Obviously it is not. The self-identified owner was quite rude and apparently offended by my request and told me to go elsewhere, which I will do. Just an FYI to those who, like my household, are higher risk. Such a shame when simple thoughtfulness and concern for others used to be a hallmark of our society. read more

Probably shouldn't even deserve a star. Second time in a row that my package has either been lost or sorted incorrectly. I have never experienced such mismanagement from UPS anywhere. The package was on route and on time until it arrived in Salt Lake where it just needed to be delivered but that could not be handled properly. Will never use UPS again while in Salt Lake. read more

I have used this store for years, but after my experience today will not go there again. If you want to avoid COVID, I suggest you avoid as well. When I walked into the store, there was a woman with a mask barely covering her lower lip. I moved as far away as possible, mailed my package and left. No one working in the store said anything to the woman. Many elderly people walked into the store while I was there. I called the store afterwards to tell them that this was a disturbing experience. I felt that it was disrespectful to them, to their other clients and dangerous for their elderly clients. I said that I wasn't sure who was responsible for saying something to the non-compliant customer. The employee I spoke with said that it happens all the time and that they would not say anything and if it bothered me I should stay out of their store. Their wish is my command. read more

I made an 11am appointment online for notary services at this particular location. We arrived at 11am, and was told without an apology that the notary was not there. I explained that I had made an appointment online for 11am and I would wait in the store. The staff member ignored us completely except to ask us to move aside. At 11.20am with no further communication, I approached the desk and asked if she had heard anything about the notary's estimated arrival time. She said she had not, but that she thought he was out purchasing supplies. When I mentioned my appointment again, she told me that the online appointment system only notifies the UPS main website, and not the individual store, and that I should have called the store directly. If that is the case, why does the booking portal take you to the specific store's website? I told her I would have to come back later and she finally said sorry as we left. Everything was in order except I couldn't pull apart the two-part pet stairs to put it in the box. They helped me do that. I really appreciate them. I have had to send two packages to New Zealand within the last few months - one huge, and one smaller. Both packages' contents were not particularly valuable monetarily, but they had significant sentimental value. Dallas Blunt helped me both times. I was in the second leg of my road trip that brought me through Holladay. I decided rather than keep my car full of stuff, I would rather just ship a few things to my final destination. That is what brought me to this UPS store and I met Josh there. I walked in 15 minutes before closing and he was still extremely friendly as well as explained to me the different options. He did not rush me and also helped me out by packing a box up for me. He was super friendly and did not hesitate at all to help out with recommending what stuff to ship and what not to. I would highly recommend him and this store to anyone looking to get some shipping taken care off. read more

Talk about friendly and helpful service! I have a mailbox here and the staff are always willing to help in any way possible. Their print services are amazing and the staff is willing to help with simple design assistance. The print quality is fantastic and rivals big print companies like Alpha Graphics. Printing and copy prices are hands down the best and they even have sales twice a year for a whole month!! Their Pack and Ship services are excellent and have had no problems with any of my shipments, Even if I had a problem I would feel confident that they would be there to help me in any way possible. Very fair on the prices for their services and they by far make up for it in the service they give. Josh, the owner, is there on occasion and always jumps to help when he is there. Always greeting you with a smile and some good humor!! I recommend this place to anyone within distance. I pass a few other UPS Stores to come here because of it. read more
