These guys are ALWAYS friendly and helpful. I happened to read the reviews left here and I can only imagine that the customer was already in a bad mood or they're just not very kind people. I've used this store for years and probably 100 different times and they're always great. There aren't many places around that perform the same service so it doesn't matter because, let's face it, you're going to use them. My daughter shipped an overnight letter with important document to me from this store at noon the other day. The first scan in the UPS system was at 11:08 PM, and missed the UPS "overnight cutoff ". Needless- my important documents are set to arrive a full day later than what we paid for. So- not only do I feel that my daughter was overcharged (almost twice what I would have paid had she hand delivered to UPS in Redmond, were also under serviced. read more

Tried to drop off Amazon return that was customer packed. Store would not accept because returns were in a box and not an envelope. The owner said that it was not his policy but Amazon's. Amazon's website lists as customer shall pack return in a box. Took returns to UPS Redmond and they accepted without hesitation. This is the second time owner has refused to accept returns saying it violated Amazon's policy. Neither return violated amazons policy. read more

Don't use this store to return Amazon orders. When they make mistakes they will not acknowledge it or try to help. I eventually Amazon found the return based on quantity but the lady didn't scan correctly according to Amazon. So, go somewhere else. read more

I've been here quite a few times since the guys working here are the nicest of any UPS store I've been to. I don't have to ship things too often and usually come here for my amazon returns. It's usually such a quick errand to stop in but it really makes a difference when the workers are friendly and kind. There is a large parking lot since it's in the shopping center. read more

Great people operate this store. Always helpful and accommodating and sometimes very busy. I have back trouble and they will walk my heavy packages to the car. Fantastic service, very friendly, unbelievably easy Amazon returns. They scan the qr code for you and take the item (no shipping box needed, they pack it up for you) print a receipt, and you're on your way! In contrast, we went to the UPS store on Gilman today and they rolled their eyes at us for bringing in an Amazon return, were so unhelpful and rude, and charged us $4.50 for a shipping box. We come here often for Amazon returns and Mr. Chanto and the staff member with long hair are nice and customer-oriented. I came this week for a return and we already received the refund. When I have to send important documents like passport-related issues we come here because they do their work and letters are sent on time. I sent a package for a two-day delivery during early Covid and it arrived on time to the Caribbean. The customer service here is very different from FedEx in Issaquah. read more

I've received consistently good service as a mailbox owner at this UPS store. I frequently receive packages that I don't want to have left at my door. The UPS Store provides me with a great way to get my packages delivered and signed for so I don't need to make a second trip to pick up packages from FedEx or UPS. Logan, in particular, has been very kind and responsive to my needs. Though there has been a transition since Perry retired and sold ownership of the store to Chanto. Chanto has been very responsive to my requests and I would suggest that you reach out to him directly with any complaints, comments, or requests. I've only come here a few times because I've rerouted packages to be delivered here instead of my house. They have decent hours. I usually get the package in the morning before work. Saturday's they have shorter hours and they're closed Sunday's. The staff is always very nice! read more

First of all I give **********10 Stars to the young man that works there who is very tall, very thin and has longish hair (I think he wears glasses as well) . He is very helpful friendly & pleasant every time I go in the store. He is a doll and I'm so happy to see him working there when I walk in the store. I give NO (nada) stars for the other guy that works there who is alway very unfriendly and rude. He shouldn't be working there he has no personality or people skills. I dread dealing with this guy. He is shorter, heavier set young man. At times when I walk in and just see him at the counter I walk right back out. These guys are terrible. I had an Amazon return and they lumped it in with other returns. Amazon never received my return, therefore I couldn't receive a refund. Lumping returns together so that they can save on shipping doesn't seem like proper protocol. read more

Upon entering the UPS location I was not met with any sort of greeting. Ok that's fine, moving on. After packing up my guitar in some of their $10 bubble wrap, the clerk offered to print my shipping label. I emailed them a shipping label link. The main clerk did not know how to copy and paste a URL so he had his very unfriendly teenage co worker help him. After printing 4 pages of my label to get it right, I was then charged what seemed to be almost a dollar per page. This was not disclosed to me prior to printing so I feel like the pulled a fast one of me. My total for bubble wrap and printing alone was $14. This along with super unfriendly incompetence makes me writhe in frustration. Oh and they don't take debit cards if the order is less than $20 so instead of telling me the cad would automatically run as credit anyways, they just stared at me. I came in here because I had an RMA that wanted to use UPS, so I stopped in. My visit was thankfully brief, the UPS store is a no-frills space that made me ready to leave as soon as I got in. The clerk I talked to wasn't exactly personable (I asked him how he was doing and he just stared at me) but he performed his job. Hooray. This is a local mailing and copy place. I use it to conveniently send UPS packages or copy expense reports before mailing them in. Most recently, I came here for their notary, which only cost me $10 to have him notarize two documents. What a deal! read more

All I can say is my experience at this UPS Store has been excellent. I used their print, copy and shipping services for over 19 years. I worked with 2 owners, Perry and Chanto, and both are friendly and provide great customer service. At times, I used them for bulk printing services, shipping bulk packages (20-75 Ibs) as well as shipping Christmas presents. Very convenient location and great service! read more

I'm not sure why this UPS store has received less than five stars? My most recent experience was amazing and was always great before then. The owner went way above and beyond to help me with packaging my shipment. He stayed two hours late on a Saturday and went out to buy special packing materials for my shipment. Do not send your Amazon returns back through this store! I dropped a return here on 12/28/20 and 2 weeks later, have not seen the credit come through. I tracked the package with the tracking # the UPS Store gave me, but it doesn't show that it ever left their store. I tried calling them multiple times to inquire but apparently they don't answer their phone. So, I got in my car and drove to the store to talk with someone in person. BTW, when I arrived, there were three people working there and only one other customer...not sure why they couldn't answer the phone one of the 10 times I called? Anyway, I was told they do not send Amazon returns back individually...instead, they package them all up at the end of the day and send them back in a giant box, with an entirely different tracking #, thus rendering the tracking # they provide the customer useless. This is not helpful. Now Amazon is unwilling to refund me for my return because there is no proof my item ever left the UPS Store. I sincerely hope Amazon will stop directing customers to use this store for returns, but in the meantime, do yourself a favor and take your Amazon return elsewhere. read more

I wish I could give this -5 star. Worst UPS store ever. Stay away from this store. I would rather goto somewhere else. I had a prepaid label in my flash drive, the guy on the counter refused to give me print out(of course I was willing to pay for the print out), he asked me to use the computer and pay additional 2.50 on top of print out charge. Simply ridiculous. It's not my fault that you don't have Printer where I can insert my flash drive, simply forget about a service where you can just email it to them and enter the code to print. You are way behind UPS. And this store sucks!!! read more

The service is ok and Dan is always friendly. My problem is the fees. I was just told today that the post office flat rate bubble package that was sent to me by accident for $6.80 would cost me 14.00 to send back and 12 for UPS ground. Asked why and was told "post office sets our rates". After a quick search I found that to be not the truth. In fact the UPS store president has Posted that their competition with the post office is so tough. One of th things they do it take advantage of a rule that allows them to markup their postal prices to whatever they want. Not a good practice. I kinda feel ripped off. They guided me to send via ups. Not I know why. The post office is far, but not that far away for me to use them from now on. read more

This used to be my favorite packing and shipping store. I have 2 kids in out of state colleges and parents and family that I mail to, at least once a week. Since Perry retired the customer service in this store has really gone down hill. I'm not sure if it is the new owner, who I never see in the store, or is the people who work there that just don't want to help their customers. I wrote an email to the store trying to remedy the poor customer service I received...no answer! So I now take my business to the mail post over by Pine Lake. It is worth the drive because they are helpful, friendly, and it's always a pleasant experience. Interesting Dan. That is the email address I used. I also wrote a new one to that email address and forwarded on the original email about the poor treatment I received and have been receiving for some time in your store. It just depends on the day whether your employees choose to be polite or are bothered by the fact that someone's walked in and interrupted them. I called ups customer service to report the situation when nobody replied to my email and still nothing from you. I won't be back to your store because I've been treated poorly by your employees and have watched others receive the same treatment. I now drive farther to Pine Lake because I do so much shipping that I would rather deal with someone who is pleasant. I understand dealing with the public and try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt and do understand everyone has a bad day now and again. However, if you are open until 6:00 on a Friday night, employees should not be annoyed to help someone at 5:30pm. Perhaps they need some coaching on dealing with customers and presenting policies in a polite manner. I Understand policies but not being treated rudely. read more

I have mailed (or tried to) three items recently. The first one I asked for the cheapest way and was told it would be UPS yet I could see the post office one price boxes were cheaper. When I asked he told me UPS would get it there tomorrow so I paid the extra - the package took two days. OK not his fault. The second time again the higher priced UPS service recommended. I questioned and went ahead with it. In both instances I would have preferred to be told my options. Yesterday I went in to mail a couple of greeting cards (with a candy bar in them) and was told they were too thick - it would be over $4.50 each to mail USPS. I went and got a thinner Hersheys bar to meet the 1/4" thick requirement. It fit through his test paper but he said it was forced so he wouldn't mail it. I took it to the post office and it fit their slot (similar to the sample he used) and cost $1.15. read more

I had to send a document to New Delhi very urgently and thinking that UPS was the biggest courier company I chose to send it via their UPS Express service. The guy at the store said that it would positively get there in 2 business days since I had made it before the cutoff for that day. I paid $71 and sent it. Two days later, the tracking information hadn't been updated at all on ups.com and I called their customer service department. They casually said that the Express service was not available to New Delhi (they said they cannot deliver any package to New Delhi in 2 days which I still don't believe .. doesn't matter that New Delhi happens to be the capital city of the 2nd most populous city in the world, what times do these companies live in?!!) .. And that my delivery service had been downgraded (without informing me) and that my package would get there in about 4-5 business days and at that moment the package hadn't even left the US. I was appalled at the callous nature in which they handled this situation, it goes to reflect on their reputation. I asked them to help reroute the package back to me and I'll send it using another courier company tomorrow. I feel so helpless because of these morons. I'd ask all their customers to be warned about International shipments, these folks just don't have their act together. Bottomline: UPS is utterly irresponsible, next time I'll use Fedex or the postal service. read more

There is a young early 20s chap.. I found sneaky in behavior. This happened not once but twice. The 2nd time was yesterday, I went to the store and told him I needed to ship an item in the cheapest possible way and told him I had a shipping label already printed out that was sent to me by the party receiving it. He looked at the label and said, packing would be "extra". I told him my preference was the cheapest option. He went back to the side corner, pulled out a box and started packaging the item, this without telling me how much it would cost. I had to courteously raise my voice so he can hear me across the distance, asked him how much it cost. he said $8.xx plus taxes.. Whoa!!. $9 for a simple box? and he tried to sneak that on me by packaging it up and then springing on me that price thinking I would just pay up (rather than complain since he already packed it up) and walk away. I found his behavior sneaky. I mean, who would expect to be charged $9 for a box that costs 25cents to the store? The first time was a few months ago, I had to return something to Apple and he was complaining to me how he was grumbling about not making any money to the point of making me uncomfortable.. even though UPS has an explicit contract with Apple to cover warranty returns, meaninig the store packs up the product and ships it at no cost to customer. In summary, this shop is over priced and they sneak it up on you which I think is dishonest. I did not find this issue at the other UPS stores though. read more
