Handled the process quickly, helped me print a new copy of the from my email when I hosed the one I brought with me due to my bad handwriting. I had UPS shipping label already from the recipient. She gave me the right UPS envelope (I had brought only a manila envelope) and dropped in their outbound. Fees were reasonable. I needed a USPS return envelope for my Nigerian passport application, and I came here to get it because it was close by. The owner (Mike) was condescending and unprofessional. He kept asking me confusing questions, giving me weird looks, and telling me repeatedly that he's trying to help me. I ended up leaving the shop and going to the post office to get my envelope. I'm not sure what the owner's deal was. Maybe he was just having a bad day, or he has poor people skills. I'll probably never know, as I'm never going back there again. read more

I had to use this location to drop off a DHL package internationally and am on the fence on how i feel about it. I walked in and waited in line. I forgot one of the forms and needed to make a copy and she directed me the printer to make a copy and "pay" but there's no option to pay at the printer. So I'm trying to get her attention to ask how to print and shes kinda ignoring me. So I walk back to the counter and she's completely confused about what the question was. Then rings me up at the register and says I can leave the package with her and she'll make the copy for me. It's like... all of that wasted time for you to have done the initially, right. Then she just stands there staring. Super weird. I'm hopeful to not have to use DHL in the future because if definitely dread returning. read more

NOTE: This happened pre-pandemic, but still bothers me. This review was saved for a long time, but considering the owner likely remains the same individual I felt it still applicable. TL;DR: Friendly, sympathetic employees but off putting owner. REVIEW: Perhaps it was an off day, but I found the owner passive aggressive and brusque when I went to pick up a missed delivery. Her sour expression, impatient manner, and shifting of blame upon the customer, insisting I should've placed signs at my apartment complex to direct the delivery person. How is it my fault the driver couldn't find my building, one of three, or leave it at the large, obvious leasing office? After providing my contact information, the owner assured me she'd let me know when my package arrived. At 2:50 pm the vendor sent notification of delivery. At 4 pm I called Pony to verify. The young lady on the phone* was warm and friendly. I'd already left work when at 4:45 pm the owner finally called, not realizing I'd called first. Had I not called earlier I'd never have left work in time to pick up my package before closing. *The employee was sympathic and friendly in person as well. read more

We had a wonderful experience here getting passport photos taken for our son with ASD. Our son has a hard time staying still and following directions like where to look etc. so I called before hand to see when they would be less busy and give them a heads up that our photo session might take a little more time. The employee I spoke with was very reassuring and kind. When we arrived the other employee taking the photos was ready for us. He worked really quickly and was incredibly accommodating. He was able to get a great picture of my son and did it in well under 10 minutes. I would highly recommend this business and will continue to use them in the future. read more

My kids and my husband and I have been here four times in the past 6 weeks, as this place was recommended by the Canadian consulate on their list of local places that take appropriate photos for Canadian passports and immigration/visa applications. So we all came here to get various photos taken that had to meet very specific governmental criteria. The good news: this place is very familiar with the specs for Canadian photos for these various applications. Their prices are decent ($25 for two official photos, with the required stamp on the back of one). The turn-around time is swift (take the photos one day and return the next to pick them up). Best of all: they say they guarantee that the photos will not be rejected. I love that; takes the worry out of that part of the whole application. The not-so-great issue: the gentleman who takes the photos and who was at the counter when I came to pick up our photos was not that pleasant. He was unsmiling, unfriendly, curt and aloof - even with my kids. He wasn't rude, just cold. (My husband picked up his own photos and, upon arriving home, said to me that the guy was, to use a euphemism, an anatomical cavity in the derriere. He sure doesn't mince words!). So.. if you're looking for a professional photo service for international passports and such, but you don't mind dealing with unfriendly folks, this place definitely would meet your needs. read more

I do not recommend going to this location. The owner/attendant a older Asian lady was rude , aggressive , and unprofessional. I went to this location to get fingerprinted. I arrived 10 minutes early. The attendant was on the phone and was very rude with each person and kept me waiting without acknowledging me. When she finally got off the phone . I let her know I was there for appointment she rudely asked me to come around the corner and for my ids. IWhen I let her how rude she was behaving . She didn't apologize. I needed to expedite a passport renewal because I have an upcoming project in Canada. I googled around for "passport photos redmond" and this place popped up and it was close to my office. Excellent service with a nice personal touch. The passport photo turned out great. They use a Nikon D200. I had my form already filled out. They helped staple the photo to the form, stuff it into the envelope, and write "expedite" on the outside. It's on its way. They have premium coffee to sip while you wait, and I didn't wait long. I was trying to make my daughter smile by doing the baby voice and he looked at me and said " can you not do that" and " stay back. He took a picture and said this will work, when I looked at the picture my daughter looked frightened. When I asked him to let me calm get down since she stated tearing up and he just walked away saying" so let me know once you are ready in a very condescending voice. Worst experience ever. Went in to get a quote from Ray on shipping some sensitive camera gear across the country (camera gear I have shipped previously with no issues). From the moment I began to place items on the desk Ray seemed less than enthusiastic about helping me. Firstly he didn't grasp that I wouldn't be shipping the gear in a large Pelican case I had brought it all to the store in, even after being told by myself and my wife three times that it wouldn't be going. He then proceeded to tell us that was a bad idea, even after being informed that was simply not an option as the person we had sold and were shipping the gear to did not want to pay for the expensive case. Instead of listening to what we needed to say, or maybe even offering up some suggestions on how we could pack and ship the gear, he just kept interjecting commentary about what a bad idea idea it was to not ship it in the Pelican case. We then offered up that we could remove the foam from the Pelican case and use it to ship the smaller items all in one box. He continued to take an extremely negative view of the situation and it was obvious his only concern was for his potential liability and pointed out that he was the owner so it wasn't going to ship without his ok, as if we had any interest in shipping our expensive camera gear in a way that was less than safe. It really was a remarkable how negative he was during the entire experience. At that point I decided I'd had enough of my intelligence being insulted and being condescended to and decided to pack my stuff up and go in search of someone not at all like Ray. While beginning to pack up I pointed out my displeasure at him acting like he didn't want to ship any gear. He took the opportunity to admit that he, in fact, did not want to ship it. We travel full time and thus have to use shipping companies all over the country very often. We go to small shipping businesses like this in order to get expertise, creativity, and good customer service. Otherwise, we might as well go to the USPS if we want crappy service with a side of negativity smothered in condescension. We've been here once before when we needed to mail some postcards and get a few envelopes (another experience that wasn't great but that passable because it required almost no thinking). If all you need is to buy are stamps or drop off a package, Ray is your man. If you're expecting to ship something particularly expensive or need some assistance with packing, Ray lacks the requisite people skills to make that experience a pleasant one. He will, in fact, over complicate the situation by making assumptions and jumping to all sorts of conclusions before allowing you to even fully explain your request. It seems he is to shipping what finger painting is to art. read more

Was deliberately nonresponsive and did not confirm if attachments sent via email, which was the recommended option to print documents, have been deleted despite explicitly requesting it. Waited patiently to make a payment for 2 additional copies. Staff observed it however kept ignoring and eventually said not to pay. Requested thumb impression for notarizing documents and mentioned to another customer that someone ahead of you got too excited about a thumb impression. Got my documents notarized and duly paid for the services, however am still in disbelief about the blatant arrogance. read more
