It's always a new reason. Today - after being informed by the UPS website that I needed to go to the UPS store to sort out a package delivery...I was informed by the lackluster team at this location that since it wasn't sent from their location - there was no possible way they could help. Could they call UPS and help check? NOPE! They couldn't even call UPS themselves...so, yeah, the manager will give any reason why he can't assist you. Their store hours say they open at 8am Monday-Friday however I arrived Tuesday at 8:06 and the doors were still locked. Tried calling and nobody answered. My experience today: 1. Put in an online print order at 8:00am. 2. Received an email saying it would be ready at 3:00pm. 3. At 3:00pm, walked the 1.5 miles to the store in the 90° heat. 4. Asked the clerk for my order, showing him the email confirmation. 5. He told me that they don't do online orders since COVID. (?) 6. I explained that I had already paid, and that I had walked a mile and a half to get there. His response. "Sorry, we can't opt out of that! Next customer." I'm deeply disappointed at the dismissiveness, not to mention the promise of services they wouldn't or couldn't deliver. I won't be back. read more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Worst shipping experience ever. After losing my package then telling me I had to call UPS customer service to file a claim because there was nothing they could do about it, I found out a week later from the package's sender that they had called this store to research what happened. They apparently had found the package. They just decided NOT to call me and let me know they had. Inside the package were irreplaceable items from my mother's estate. I'm still in shock. If you care about the proper delivery of your items, avoid this place like the plague. read more

I came here to get a package shipped, and the return postage paid for. There were plenty of clerks available, so there was no wait. They walked me through all the pricing options and delivery times, making sure that I was aware of all their levels of service. They helped me package everything up, and got my package off quickly! Avoid this store as even if they're open doesn't mean they'll be able to offer the services they claim to offer, even if you call them and tell them you're on your way and they tell you sure. I called ahead of time to make sure I can rent a mailbox, the attendant told me they have them available, I told him I'm on my way and when I got there the same attendant told me the owner's son is the only one who can rent mailboxes out but he comes in after 10am, something he failed to mention over the phone. read more

Had an issue with printing and was told they don't do them through the UPS website even though they show up on the website when called trying to get help to get a refund from UPS customer service I was told "I don't know where your money is, call the freaking bank or something" not helpful. I have been using the UPS store on McCullough in Olmos Park for years. When my stepmother died in 2004, I spent several months in and out of the store shipping 65 boxes to her family in England. Larry and his staff were there for me then and have continued the great service ever since. FYI, they accept boxes in good condition and recycle them. I also take my used bubble wrap in. By far, the most pleasant experience I've had a UPS store, and I wasn't even mailing anything. I needed an important form notarized, and through some internet research, was happy to see this store mere blocks from my digs has a notary. All in all, it took about 10 minutes and less than 10 bucks. The staff was friendly, easy-going, and got the job done. Plus, he cracked a few jokes along the way making it a memorable visit, which is hard to do amongst all those brown boxes. These guys will be my go-to's! read more

Larry and his family and staff are awesome! Recently, I came in at 4 PM on a Friday absolutely frantic I had been trying to scan 72 pieces of paper from my home printer. These papers needed to get to our short term disability insurance company ASAP. The staff was able to quickly scan ALL papers into a PDF. Then sat down with me on the computer and helped email it to the insurance company and CC me. When the email would not go through they troubleshot it and came up with the idea of breaking it into two smaller packets- which involved rescanning it into 2 PDFs and sending 2 emails. Although I was somewhat frantic, they were calm ,cool and collected and had to wherewithal to CC me so I would know that the email went out . It gave me great comfort and I would like to say that our claim has been approved! Now we can focus on getting my husband healthy and not being buried under paperwork. I typically use the post office to ship out my eBay items but when I went to ship an extra large package, the post office rates were outrageous. I immediately researched shipping rates online at UPS & FedEx, but because my box was so large, I didn't trust the online quotes. When I called the UPS Store on McCullough, Larry answered. I was immediately taken in by his kindness and friendliness. He patiently cranked up his computer to see if my quote corresponded with his. Then, when he got a different amount than I had the night before, he patiently waited for me to pull it up online and check again. Even though the amount now matched, I still called a FedEx store to see if I could find a lower rate. My experience with them was like night and day. They performed their job without the extra dose of friendliness that Larry naturally exudes. And they couldn't give me a quote over the phone like he had. Instead, they transferred me to a general customer service line, where I had to wait to speak to someone. In learning that their rates were still higher than Larry's, I made the decision to do business with him and my experience only got better. The store was busy when I arrived but despite this, Larry maintained a friendly chit chat with everyone. His energy was extremely calm and outgoing, making a typically bland errand more like stopping at your favorite coffee shop. I highly recommend doing business with him! read more

This place is awesome! They have provided consistent good customer service over the last few years for me and my husband--for faxing, shipping and copying needs. The other week, however, they went above and beyond, which prompted me to write this review. For work, I needed a copy job completed in a hurry. Went to two box stores first and was told it would take 4 to 24 hours for them to complete my job, respectively. I didn't have the time (!!!). When I was about to give up, I remembered this UPS location--a small locally-ran business; and, I'm glad I did! I arrived and the owner and his two representatives immediately began helping me.
