If I could give zero stars I would. First off, I walk in and the "manager" is complaining about how customers don't know how to "read" and use the kiosk. Second, the "service" if you can call it that was awful. The girl checking us out was incredibly rude and condescending for no reason with no helpful answers. She was more interested in complaining about working. When I asked for a large box to ship my item, she just disappeared & never came back. Some other attendant helped me. We have a UPS store within a mile of our house but we drive 10 miles to get to this one because of the quality of service at this location is 300% BETTER! One of the gals started processing me for an Amazon return but realized that I didn't have the original box and said in order for them to process it and guarantee a refund, I would have to have it or buy a new box. I told her I had the box at home and she said that's OK. Go get it and I'll keep your paperwork right under the cash register for when you come back. Unfortunately I wasn't able to return the same day and came back a day later, but she remembered me and pulled out the receipt from the cash register and processed my return in seconds. Saved me from having to waste money on a box I didn't need. This is the kind of customer service that wins back return customers! I'll try to get her name and update this review later but I really appreciate that kind of service and assistance. I will go out of my way to go to this particular UPS store in the future! This has been my UPS store since April 2019. I purchased a Private Mailbox with them because of package theft and non-delivery of mail to my residence address(s). The staff has always been professional, courteous, and patient with me. I have always received ALL my mail and packages through their service. Even in the times when I did not understand procedures and would be inpatient with them, they never wavered in their professionalism. They have changed owners over the years. I only dropped off a package for UPS pickup, it was already paid, labeled, packaged, etc. but the friendly experience with the young man at the counter prompted me to write this review. Many businesses overlook the small things such as greeting a customer and saying simple things like thank you or have a good day. I know it's tough to get the under 20 crowd to do this extra step, but it does make a difference. This kid even managed to make small talk about the weather - I was impressed even though I was just dropping something off. I'll bookmark this place in my brain in case I am in need of postal/UPS services in the future! read more

WORST experience I have ever had with UPS! I spent 20 minutes in here just to get 2 papers printed and laminated. Even though there were 5 workers, the service was terribly slow. Everyone was so glum and lazy! The guy who took 15 minutes printing and laminating my papers was Christian Aleman and once I was paying he didn't have my 14 cents so he told me if it was okay if he didn't give them to me?!? I came here the week before Christmas so I was expecting long lines and a long wait. The staff here was great, they had 3 people working the desk and one person checking in with everyone in line in case you were just dropping something off. Those people she was taking care of on the spot which helped with the long line. The price I ended up paying was on par with what USPS would have charged and they got it there DAYS before it was supposed to be there. I have never really used UPS and came here for convenience but after this experience, I will be back. read more

Rude and not helpful at all! I just needed a few copies, but needed it to print darker. The "owner" asked if I wanted the setting on 2,3or4. I asked her what she'd recommend, and she said she had no idea what this machine would do. So....if she doesn't know, how the heck would I? So, we tried a couple more adjustments, (the machine could have benefitted from more toner) and then the owner asked "how many more" did I need. She wanted me to use the unacceptable copies.... and to charge for them!!! Well, NO! Her demeanor and conversation was extremely rude, like she was being inconvenienced! First of all they are charging 3.25 for the label even though I had a QR code. They simply told me I had to email it to a specific email and then I would be charged 3.25 per package to be returned to Amazon. Then when I addressed this issue to the manager I was told they can charge whatever they want. I literally still had the package and all I need was the label printed and sent off. So disappointed. In an economy where everything is going up,this store is ripping people off to print a label. read more

Hard to get excited about a UPS location but whoop here I am. I've been here uhhh 3 times for personal package mailing? It's always been really pleasant. It's family-owned, and runs pretty dang fast 'n smooth. The latest visit I worked with Helen, the owner, and she was rad as heck. She helped me untangle my bungle of a package-labeling job and chatted while we worked through the system. Apparently she was a programmer years ago! Fortran and COBOL before deciding to open the UPS franchise location instead! Starting her own business...#AmericanDream amirite? Talking with her made my nerdy little programmer's heart very happy and it was overall a surprisingly pleasant package-shipping experience :,) They're all really cool and friendly here. So, This is my second review of this UPS location. I forget what I gave them on the first review but I do remember it was not a positive review. I'm also not sure if you can review a place twice, but I figure it's fair, since this was my second interaction as a customer (business customer). I went in to check on my small business box and was told I needed a pin (told for the first time). I remembered creating a pin, but this was the first time I was told I needed to tell someone the pin for just checking the mail. It's worth noting, I didn't have a key, but should I need it? I had three forms of government-issued ID with me. I finally convinced the clerk that it was okay, since I have a small business box at 5 other UPS locations across the country and haven't had the issue before. The clerk was new and for the first five minutes convinced me I may be in the wrong location, since she didn't show my box that I paid for was active... The manager/franchise owner came over and explained to her what she had done wrong. Finally they were able to check my box but it was empty, even thought I've been expecting three packages for weeks... I would venture to guess it is because the address here is weird, and even more weird when you add in your box number. Not much they can do about it, but if affects the end user (me) and thereby, my business. I don't blame the new girl. She's new, and that's what learning is all about. But the review score is really based on the second poor interaction I have had with the owner (the first was by phone and I knew she didn't remember that she was rude to me). The thing that got me the most was that the owner told me I wasn't supposed to be allowed to have a small box as a business, since she only rents out large boxes to businesses (I get it, don't be like all of the other locations around the country so you can make more money off of me- but what do you expect me to do about it now?... it's a mistake someone you trained made. Not your customer's). She finally agreed that it would be stupid to change things up now, and up-charge me since I already have out the address... jeez... thanks? Why in the world would you bring that up with a customer? My point is this, crappy customer service rolls down hill. If you expect to talk down to your customers and make their interaction a poor one, what do you expect your employees to do? Came to print and notarize forms. First girl tells me yes a notary is available then Amaris is beyond RUDE and ignores us. Proceeds to help other customers before us. I proceed to have forms printed and then she states they don't do notary. Not only a waste of my time but her overall customer service was horrible. Not what you say but how you say it especially when your about to take my money- no thanks. Hello there to all, This is by far the best ups store I've ever been to. I was immediately welcomed by the 3 ladies that were working. Although they were helping customers they still went out of their way to greet me. The line was moving very quickly and when I got to the counter, a very nice and sweet young lady with curly hair was the greatest help ever. She went above and beyond to give me the most accurate and detailed information. I'm new to shipping cross county, but she gave me the insight that was needed to be sure that my products were shipped safely and accurately. I hate to break the cherry of a new business location by giving them a bad review, but seriously, I have been here three times now, and all three times it has taken four times as long as it would anywhere else. I am here right now trying to overnight a package to Houston, two girls are on the phone with somebody trying to figure out how to print out a shipping label, I have now officially been here for 18 minutes, and there are no other customers in the store. Awful customer service all I had to do was print a label the lady with curly hair let 4 people go ahead of me because she said my email hasn't arrive yet when clearly I heard the computer go off few mins after I sent the label over. I would give them zero stars she literally let 4 people go in front of me I was blown away by her attitude lack of customer service not say the least your paying $3.25 for label and horrible customer service I never got my label. This is my favorite UPS Store ever! I've never had a bad experience, everyone here is so helpful and so kind! In fact, This one is the one I personally have always gone to and continue to go to because the customer service is on point! Helen is my favorite! Every single time that I go, she is always there being so helpful and I even look forward to conversing with her and all the employees there! They do charge 92 cents plus tax which comes out to 1.00 for taping up your boxes, but that's fair and I don't have a problem with it, & neither should you since they're taking the time out of their day and their supplies and materials bought just to use it on your stuff to ensure your boxes are ready to go! I've had more negative experiences at this location than good. Pro: - the ease of having a ups store near where I live is nice. - they sell items like stamps, boxes, bubble wrap. - the manager knows how to send over seas packages to military bases. But only the manager- -never a line in the store. Majority of the time no one is here. Cons: -The lack of knowledge with staff members . 1-I brought an invitation to this location and asked how many stamps I would need for each envelope. He weighed the envelope with the invitation and told me 1 stamp per invitation. I bought +50 beautiful stamps and sent them off! He informed me wrong. He said 1 stamp when I really needed 2 stamps. This caused all invitations to be sent back to me a week later. I went back and they no longer had the stamps I originally purchased to match the ones I had on the invitations. I feel this was disappointing due to I wanted presentation of the invitations to be uniform and matching. I bought different stamps and had them sent out a week after originally trying to send them. 2- it's nice that the manager knows how to send mail over seas (she's THE ONLY ONE!)- but please don't make any plans for the next half an hour. She opened my box (that I had placed each item in a certain way) to be weighed, asked how much each item was, asked where each item was made. I understand customs is a bit crazy- but the post office and other places does not take items out to do individually weighing and ask where it's made. But- at least she knows how to send it to my brother overseas in Japan. I just wish she didn't take everything out of the box. It was meant as a gift and the way it was sent- was not ideal- but only sent that way because my box was opened. 3- a staff member didn't know how to send my package over seas. She didn't know that there was a military base in Japan (even when I was giving the address). Which was causing her to charge me over $100 to send a small package. It cost me $30 last time for something larger- so I wasn't sure why this time it was different. The manager came by and realized she was doing it wrong. The staff member seemed defensive and said she didn't know how to do it - therefore the manager took over--- this process took over half an hour (and I was the only person in the store) 4-my last experience was very frustrating. The staff member was helping me send my package to my new born nephew in Japan to arrive for Valentine's Day. It seemed to be going smoothly and much faster than normal. She gave me everything I needed and I felt good about it. It would arrive days before Valentine's Day. A week later- my package was sent back to me due to not all paper work being filled out correctly by the ups staff member (or at least that's what they told me when I called the 1-800 number) . I refused to go back and get my money back (due having being frustrated and giving up on them!) but instead just go to the post office that cost me 3 times cheaper and get there in 14 days instead of 9 days (as she promised me at ups). So my nephew did not receive his Valentine's Day package until this past week. Almost two weeks after Valentine's Day. I plan to just take my business to the post office where they offer the same services for a cheaper price. The post office has their knowledge and customer service knocked down to a science! This place needs some work on over seas training and time management. read more

Will not return. Made at least 4 trips to the car for the entire shipment. No assistance (not even holding the door) was greeted with "did you want to buy packing material and pack yourself?" Uh No! Then I had to wait for the manager who told me she was sure the recipient could find similar items locally and I was better off not shipping. I advised her that was NOT an option and I need to ship. She gave me a box to pack some of it myself. The rest she wanted me to leave, kept the credit card info from the box I packed and told me she would call and let me know the final amount. After not hearing from them for a few days, went in and got the amount. I have usd the store on Broadway, the store in Olmos park, the store on Potranco, and the store on Lackland. I have never had so much drama nor have I ever left the store without an amount. read more

The guy in the front could have easily tapped my box for me cause I forgot to tape it and instead told me to buy tape then says oh well since you bought the tape I can tape it up for you with the one he had by him. That defeats the whole purpose of me having to buy the tape jack ass! read more

I don't even want to leave a star. The "owner" was so rude and she came off as it was an inconvenience to her that I was there. She charged me a $1 for a pice of tape stating that it was because they are required to use material that they buy and that my package has to be prepared by then....i didn't have tape to close it, and I've NEVER been charged for tape before and UPS is the only place I use to return my textbooks after the semester is done. When I asked why I was being charged for the tape she got an attitude and cut me off from saying how I've never been charged for tape so I was a little confused. Definitely will not be using this location again if that's how the "owner" talks to people read more
