This store can get surprisingly busy. That said, I had 3 items to post, 2 going to Santa Rosa, 1 to Colorado. I was considering USPS, but given their current orders from the White House to intentionally slow delivery of mail, and experiencing issues with USPS every time I need to mail something as well as their lazy workers who flat out refuse to pickup outgoing mail where I live...the lamest excuse on the planet for this was the carrier claiming he is "too short" to properly check the boxes for outgoing mail. Last month I sent out my insurance bill, just to see how long it would take, the nearest sorting center is in Petaluma about a 20 minute drive one way from where I live. Due to the intentional delays, it took USPS 7 days to pickup my mail from their blue street box about a mile and a half from my home, drive it a bit over 20 miles to Petaluma, sort it and drive it back the same way to deliver my mail less than 3 miles from where they picked it up. This BS caused my payments to be late. Fortunately the business dealing with my late payment was understanding and did not add a late fee charge to my account. I'm so glad I chose UPS, they delivered the Santa Rosa packages the next day (today - Thursday). I have little doubt the Colorado package will be delivered before Monday. It used to be that USPS employees took tremendous pride in their efficiency, it did not take much to throw a wrench into that system - no thanks to greedy corrupt officials. I know UPS has had their issues in the past, I don't know about their current reputation, I just hope they continue to bring the A GAME I just experienced. The clerks were friendly and efficient even though they were clearly swamped. Thank you to all the employees who worked so hard to get my packages to their destinations within a remarkable time period to boot! I will return. A big NEW YORK raspberry to USPS!! Neither rain, nor sleet nor snow can keep them from making their deliveries, but a POS President and the head of USPS can and did taint the reputation USPS had going for over a hundred years. Rude attendants at counter, very impatient with a simple request to send a document. No Amazon return kiosk (you have to wait in line for someone to scan your qr code). Bad internet connection in store. Loud music while you wait. read more

Save yourself the headache and drive to Mill Valley or another UPS store in Marin. This one has terrible customer service. I came in to buy shipping materials. The prices were high. The selection was only one item available. They had rolls of bubble wrap all different sizes for the exact same price $9.99. The rolls were very, very small. In hindsight I should've just gone to Home Depot. Two people working there with lackluster attitude. read more

I don't know why this store has such bad reviews. I guess it's because only people who have problems write reviews? I have been using this store consistently since they opened to handle my Amazon and other UPS returns. I confess to being a bit of a shopaholic and I'm a caregiver, so can't get to stores often. I have never had a bad experience at this UPS except a few times when there were long lines. But, that's not the fault of the people who manage the place and work there. For me, they are unfailingly polite and helpful. They acknowledge you right away and try to multitask to keep things moving. I'm thankful they are here in Terra Linda--which is generally a wasteland of good food, stores, and services. read more

Covid specific review. I came in here the other day. The door was closed so everyone had to touch the handle to open the door to get in/out. Also two women came in without masks and neither of the employees said anything. One employee had their mask below their nose - defeating the purpose of wearing one. When I left I noticed there aren't any signs at all saying to wear masks inside. This is a county wide regulation right now. This was my first outing to a business in over two months as I am immune compromised. I was very disappointed in this businesses covid practices. Staff are unfriendly and not well trained in customer service. Customers definitely do NOT come first. They proceed as if they are doing you a favor. The female manager is especially unprofessional and indifferent. They are quick to send you on your way if everything about your transaction is not exactly perfect. They won't work with you to try and fix the issue. Poor customer service. read more

I had to ship several Boxes as I'm moving out of state due to Covid situation. I found coupons online for ground shipping to help me with my expenses as my income has been reduced at this time. It was 15% off of ground shipping which would have amounted to about $35 savings and every little bit helps right now. The coupon was from ups website. When I presented at the store - the store manager declined to honor it as each store is independently owned and does not have to honor national offers. I found that to be very unkind during theses times. The staff was friendly but not overly so. If I had more time I would have gone to the store in Corte Madera where I've always had excellent service. read more

We had a terrible experience at this store this morning. My wife needed her fingerprints done and this store provides that service. Someone who appeared to be the manager told another employee to help us because "you have to learn how to do this". The new employee spent over 10 minutes just trying to figure out how to set up the computer. As I paced impatiently, the manager went over to help her out. It was very clear that the new person had no clue what to do and the manager "helped" her in a very condescending way. The whole process took far longer than need be. When another employee, who had just come in, was asked by the manager to help out the struggling employee, he began arguing with her in front of us and other customers. The new employee was clearly embarrassed by her lack of understanding and apologized profusely as the manger said nothing! I've had my prints done previously as has my wife and it has never taken so long. We will not be using them again. read more

Andrew and his crew are truly the best. Whatever situation, on any given day, they will figure out a solution whatever it is you need. I needed to ship ceramics from my Etsy store but was terrified at the idea of putting something so fragile in the mail. Andrew took the time with me to go over how to properly package my vases I was shipping and we even used a glass jar I had in my car as a test run (packaged it all up and then we threw it in the air outside to see if it would break! It was totally unharmed!). While I was in the store another employee helped an elderly woman figure out how to do an Amazon return, and then helped a middle aged man send a birthday package to his nephew in New York! I felt like the actual time and concern he spent with me is so valuable, it's rare to find people in customer service that actually care these days. This UPS store is now my go to spot for shipping all my fragile items and more! Amazing! read more

I was visiting some family when I got a call from work saying they needed something shipped to them ASAP. I don't know the area very well and popped into this UPS store 2 minutes before their closing time. I'm no fool, I know no matter where you go, whether it's a restaurant or a store, employees hate when you walk in at the end of the day. I get it everyone's tired. So I braced myself for bad attitudes. To my surprise I had the best experience here. Lilia welcomed me into the store with a cheerful voice. Linda has helped us several times with Notary services and I have to say, she's really friendly and has this great positive energy. The place does get busy but the staffers there are polite and efficient. There was also a nice gentleman there working the desk whose name I believe is Keith? He was an African American gentleman, also very nice and friendly. I'm sorry I can't remember his name so I hope Keith is right. I was in here the other day just doing an Amazon drop off. There was two cashier on the register at the time, But it look like one of them was new. Jackie help me out but there was two people in front of me and I want to give her props for being so kind. The first one was very rude They had an Amazon drop off. There were told they needed to buy a box or a bag. Jackie was very kind explaining to them the policy. Then the next customer yelled at her about having to pay for computer and again Jackie was very kind didn't even let either of them bother her, still had a big smile on her face. And also very willing to help the new guy with question he had. And even with both of them being rude to her she made sure she thanked them and told him to have a good day. Located at the Northwest corner, it shares parking with the gas station. I work across the street from here and dropping off packages was a breeze! With the holidays, I did a lot of online shopping and some items came defective. Thanks to Amazon's return policies, having a UPS store nearby is definitely a plus! Fast and friendly service.
