One of the only places in marin I could find that ships wine! They were kind and helpful during the busy holiday season. Very fast service too! Not cheap ($50 shipping for 2 bottles) but I'm pretty sure they don't set their own pricing and it's a liability thing. Not judging them for that. I stopped into the Postal Palace and asked the man in charge what size box he'd recommend for me to ship hair products to my sister in Maui for her wedding. The wedding planner had the wrong products so it was necessary to get her the right products. The man in charge or owner told me that you cannot send liquids through the USPS. I said ok in disbelief and left feeling really disappointed for my sister. I got home and decided to look it up for myself. Guess what! You CAN MAIL LIQUIDS. I use the Postal Palace for everything I can think of for the company I work for - mailing/shipping, printing documents, assembling binders (with lots of pieces and weird stuff), graphic design, business cards, and basically anything else I can think of. If they don't advertise it is a service, it's still likely that they already do it, or will do it for you anyways. They do lots of same day print jobs for me, and are constantly making my job easier. Very rude service. Would not acknowledge me, I had to get their attention (I don't understand why they have a doorbell that goes off when a customer walks in if they aren't even going to use it). I told them I had to drop off some USPS packages and he just stared at me. Finally said you can just leave them there after some awkward silence. This place is amazing! I needed to drop off some styrofoam peanuts for reuse and called to ask if they would take them. (answer - yes!) But not only did Postal Palace take my peanuts, Pierre helped me take care of the horrible mess that the peanuts had created in the back of my pick-up truck! Sent them a detailed request seeking an estimate to collect, pack and ship small items purchased at a local auction. Although every necessary detail was provided in my original contact to them, I received a response from Postal Palace oddly stating "Thank you for contacting us for your shipping needs. To enable to offer you an estimate for your shipment we need to get your address. Kindly provide us with your address or at a minimum your zip code and whether this is a residence or an office so that we can provide you with the needed information." I replied pointing out that this information was already present in the original contact, yet provided this information again a second time (providing the total chain e-mail: my original, Postal Palace response, and my follow-up e-mail). Heard nothing from Postal Palace. I have contacted the auction house to report this business as very non-professional. read more
