They will not go up to you and see if you are doing okay, I had the guy yell to me from the counter to see if I was doing okay. Felt odd cuz I said I was just returning things and basically said don't use that I can help you come here (to the counter) I went and he did help me he help inform me how to do the return. The UPS store was the first to respond instantly. The gentleman named Emad texted me back and asked me what I was looking and thinking it do. He gave me my options. Emad was kind, patient and helpful. He gave me suggestions, advice, and insights all within my business budgets. I was very pleased to hear what his price quote was. I assumed it was going to be much more expensive than it was. It turns out they are cheaper than their competitors with better care and faster services. All of the competitors slowly got back to me with double and triple the price quotes than The UPS Store and not within my time frame of expectancy. Emad was kind to text examples of what my company's cards would look like previously to printing the 100 cards that I purchased. I was so happy and surprised that it was so simple. I was told my backdrop couldn't be done in two days, I was told that my image's resolution was too small, and other printing shops never responded. Z from RedDot Printing responds within minutes. He told me the same thing about my backdrop's resolution being to low for a huge printout, but what set him apart was that he took the time send me an email on how fix it so that he can print it. Once I fixed the image with his advice he said, "I can get that done in two days." and he delivered! I placed the order midday on a Wednesday and it was ready for pickup by 2:00PM on Friday. Pick up was seamless. He knew exactly who I was without introducing myself, he was friendly, full of personality, and so sweet. He unrolled the backdrop to show me his work and it was PERFECT! His price was cheaper than I imagined especially since this was a last minute request. I found my exact cartridge for my ink pen and was super stoked to find a combo pack which dropped the price down significantly. If you're in Costa Mesa and you need any sort of office supply, you can imagine Staples would be the place to go. Absolutely will never come back to this place! I left my package for them to tape up and trusted them to do so. When I Guess I shouldn't have because my grandmother said things were missing from her package when revived. Receipt says Erik, tall over weight white male helped me and I'm incredibly upset. I had my wrapped up gifts gone though and stolen from. THIS PLACE IS NOT TO BE TRUSTED WITH YOUR GIFTS TO YOUR LOVED ONES!!!! since I didn't take a picture to prove what I sent to my family I get no justice and a thief gets to keep his job! The good ol ups at it again this holiday season so don't forget to package your own shit and trust NO one who wears shit brown! read more

Maybe I'm just used to the FedEx store around the corner from my office near John Wayne. I would expect, like FedEx, the other carriers USPS, DHL & UPS would be similar in what they had to offer when it came to customer service and packing materials. Of those 4 named, apparently UPS is the only one not to offer branded boxes or envelopes, unless purchased. The store has an older woman acting as manger and a younger girl there. I am shipping out a laptop, and some new business cards for my company and they provided printed UPS shipping labels. Since I only had FedEx boxes and shipping envelopes I drove over to this UPS store on Bristol Street, in Costa Mesa to procure some. The customer service, or lack thereof was apparent from the start with no greeting of any type offered when I entered. I said I was looking for shipping materials like FedEx has and was told there were none. I asked about their shipping envelops on the counter that stated "The UPS Store" on them but was told I had to purchase them. Five of those flimsy envelopes cost over $12 dollars! I asked for five of the clear self-adhesive label holders so I could place my printed labels in and was told no. There was stack of them on the counter, and I offered to buy them and was still told no. When asked how I should affix my label to the envelope, she shrugged her shoulders and said I should tape it. Fortunately, as I'm in upper management with my company, I do have some input as which vendors we should use when working with our 260 employees. The name FedEx will be first I have us call out on.
