Staff here are always really helpful and pleasant and the store is always clean and tidy. 5 stars.

Someone here really needs to investigate into their workers. I have sent a few different things here in the past. There had been 4 notable occasions. 2 of them, they were scanned in when I dropped them off, but it didn't go anywhere after that. 2 other occasions, the package arrived to the destination with an empty box. That means someone opened my package, took out the item, & shipped an empty box. This is unacceptable & never has this happened before at any other UPS. It's a violation & I am out $$ due to them. I now have to drive out of the way just to ship something out & avoid this place. If I were you, I'd do the same! read more

Perfect place with friendly staff who try to be as accommodative as possible. If your looking for something they don't particularly have, they will go out of their way! Don't understand why this place is poorly rated. read more

Rob the owner was very helpful in helping me sent my package that needed extra care. He also help me decide which way I could ship, ( Next day, two days or ground) and when through the options of cost and packaging. I spoke with him about having a mailbox and all the courtesies that come with it. WOW, notary, faxing, printing, scanning, shipping, receiving packages, excepting faxes. all without me tying up my day waiting for any of it. I don't know what any of other reviews are talking about, but this place and the owner are wonderful. Try getting this type of service at the Post Office. read more

Big shout out to the UPS store in Scotch Plains for their outstanding service today! I went in with several items that needed to be packed and shipped as well as stuff to be shredded. The young man who assisted me was quick, courteous and knowledgeable. I can't say I have always had the same experience going there in the past. Keep up the good work!! read more

I went here with a package that was all ready to ship. I wanted to ask the man in the store a question about the shipping time. He(the owner) said 'We can't help you. You bypassed us by preparing your shipment at home so we can't answer your questions." I will never go here again. read more

I had such an awesome experience at this location today!! I had done a quick print online printing order for a return label, And walked into the location with the actual item I wanted to return expecting to have my quick print ready to go. Very nice gentlemen at the front desk informed me that they weren't able to access the computer system because they didn't have the password but that since I had already paid for my order they'd be happy to let me use the computer to find the shipping label in my email and print it out straight away. I was probably in the store for three minutes and they handled my return efficiently as well as with smiles on their face and wishing me a happy holidays. I valued the experience of their demeanor and their friendliness as well as how quickly they took care of what I was there for. I am very pleased that they were able to work around the password issue but I would recommend that the owner of the store make sure that folks who are working in the store have access to everything that they need to serve the customer: luckily these guys were solution oriented and fantastic!!!! read more

The positives: This location was nearby and has decent hours The bad: packing materials were twice as expensive for identical box (a #44) as the UPS Store in Warren. $10 versus $5 for identical box. When I asked about this I was told each location is an independent franchise and can charge what they wish. Next time I will drive the additional 4 miles to warren. read more

I like this store. Before the holidays I sent a Patti laBelle sweet potatoes pie to a friend. T.J. Did a great job wrapping the pie. My friend said the pie made it threes intact. He also helped me wrap a camera. Great customer service and T.J. Is the best. Thanks so much. I will visit this store again. read more

The man working the counter (who I assume is the owner or manager) was extremely rude to me, but was even more rude to his own employee in front of his costumers. If that's how he speaks to employees and costumers, I will not be returning to this location. read more

Truly incompetent or just crooks. Either way, avoid these guys if you're paying for something (vs just droppff). I brought a shoebox sized, fully packed package to be shipped at whatever speed. Item weighed maybe 2 lbs. The first time I came by they wanted $50. I left in frustration thinking I got a bad employee. The next day they told me $145 by USPS! I shipped by FedEx 2-day for $20. Who do they think they're fooling? Westfield location may be harder to find parking but they are competent and professional there. read more

Do not under any circumstances go to this UPS Store location. The gentleman behind the counter, who I'm assuming is full-time and works everyday, is a horrid man and unbelievably rude. He did not greet me and had a very bad attitude. Made me feel unaware of UPS store policies and had snappy responses. His name is Rod. I will never step foot in this store again, regardless of the fact that they close later than all 4 UPS store locations closer to my home. Terrible, terrible customer service, UPS should be ashamed. read more

AVOID. THIS. FRANCHISE. If "Rob" or "Rod" is the owner that answered the phone, let me just say that he has zero patience, zero customer service skills but one huge attitude of holier than thou. I needed simple help in learning more about tracking one of three packages for which tracking wasn't available even after four days. The other packages arrived to the destination timely but one didn't. Well forget it, he explained annoyingly from the beginning and repetitively using nearly the same words that he can't help and that I need to call the main UPS number. When I tried asking further, he claimed he can't do anything to be at all (to help) as he is a private franchise. Yet he didn't once offer to even try to assist, such as looking up the tracking for me in his system. What good is it to be a UPS brick and mortar, franchise or not, if you can't help look into a potential issue of a package SENT FROM THAT STORE. And I didn't ask the same thing either, as he stated, when I flat out called him out on his rudeness. It was simply that before being entirely shoved on my way by him to call UPS, I just wanted to pursue the secondary question of what I can do if a box that I sent from his store doesn't even come up on the radar as the origin. I mean, at least that should occur - it's not like the box went missing after it left the store. If that were the case, I would've called the main UPS number in the first place. No brainer. There are SO many UPS stores in the area. Just avoid this one entirely, because if there are ANY issues after their intake, such as a package even beginning to track at all, this franchise completely washes its hands of it. And customer service 101: it's not necessarily WHAT is said as it is HOW one conveys it in the first place. Rob/Rod made it a point to snidely use the same phrasing over and over to tell me to call UPS as if language comprehension was the issue. No, Rob/Rod, the real problem is that you own and/or operate a franchise that relies on customers to use your business when you don't want to actually deal with people. Holy cow. My experience with Rod, UPS manager of Scotch Plains, has spanned from 2000 - present. His expertise has ranged from procuring colored passport documents, successfully sending time sensitive packages, to creating thousands of copies in a day. Personally, I am very lucky to have found him because I've never been disappointed in the quality of his services.
