I can't say enough great things about this business. I've been coming here since I moved to Solvang in 2014. They are always friendly & efficient! I went in today during lunch to drop off a package and they were pretty busy, however this gentleman came around with his device to assist me while I waited in line & I was out of there in about a minute. This UPS store is frankly amazing. I needed an original canvas packaged, to check in to Alaskan Airlines to fly to Seattle, WA. The airline was VERY specific about the dimensions allowed. And, as the canvas was large, it became a problem. Not to Christian and his team. All this being last minute, they worked tirelessly to ensure my painting would travel safe, and make it unscathed. And, and fit the dimensions. No small feat. The love and care, and genuine concern for me and my art, was beyond any "expected" customer care. This Team, lead by Christian are my heroes. My painting arrived perfectly intact, with not a scratch. There was ALOT of bubble wrap involved. If you need anything shipped and loved all at once, go see them. Guys you are all ROCKSTARS!! This locally owned store is a gem for our community. I wasn't sure if I had created my poster correctly so I brought my laptop to their store, connected to their Wi-Fi, and emailed it to them. They printed out a proof so I could make any last minute corrections. Then they completed the printing and cutting within 30 minutes. The employees and owners are all very helpful! What A Wonderful Experience!!!! This morning I needed to send some computers to San Francisco for my daughter. I was not looking forward to sending them because I was fearful of packaging and just wanting to know they were safe. Christian the wonderful person who helped me put my mind at rest instantly. He was so helpful and knowledgable about everything. He told me about insurance and how safe the computers would be. He explained clearly how quickly they would be received. The business I work for utilizes the UPS Store in Solvang for 20% of our shipping needs, and I have always had stellar service. Each of the employees are curtious helpful, and are efficient when helping me. Christian in particular is awesome. The parking situation, at times, could be better. Not the fault of UPS Store, obviously. I agree that the prices are a bit steep, but since they are local, and service the needs of the business I work for- I appreciate the level of service vs having to drive elsewhere. This UPS Store is my one-stop place to go for all kinds of shipping and office-related services. The store offers PO Boxes, notary services, shipping and all sorts of printing solutions. I was really pleased when the owner, Christian, helped me find the most cost-effective way to return a carpet, by choosing a box instead of my roll, and lowering the cost by 25%. The new owners are very customer-oriented, and are constantly expanding their services. I now can send my digital business files here for printing and binding, and use their great color printer for photos. In our area where wine-shipping is a priority, they've even developed a rapid-ship method for eager visitors to send home purchases. In small community like the Santa Ynez Valley, it's great to have this local business that can do so much, and is open 6 days a week. read more

The staff at this branch is incredible. I called them with a last minute emergency print job on a Saturday. I was in Solvang for a wedding with no car and they went above and beyond. They took the file via email, let me pay over the phone, called me for clarification only once, nailed the printing perfectly, and even dropped off the job at my hotel! After searching for a easier way to send my package, I checked out the UPS Store in Solvang, CA. Christian, the person who explained an excellent approach for me, was so helpful and clear about what I could do. He introduced me to the staff and everyone was friendly and the atmosphere in the store was excellent. As it turned out, I needed to go to the P.O. because my package was being sent to a P.O. box. I will choose this UPS Store in the future, as it was such a welcoming experience for me. read more

We called the day before to ask if this UPS Store would ship wine we purchased for ourselves back to our home state (where wine shipments are legal). They said yes. Went by the next day and dropped off 6 bottles of wine. The charge for a wine shipper box and ground shipping came to $75, which I thought was very high, but we had no alternative at that time since we couldn't take it on the plane. It took EIGHTEEN DAYS for the wine to arrive, but only 2 days of that was actual UPS transport time! And I noticed that the actual UPS charge was only $25. So that leaves $50 for packaging and handling. Rip off!! The store manager offered only a feeble excuse about problems with another shipment that accidentally impacted ours, and made no adjustment to the cost or offered any other concession. I would not recommend this UPS store to anyone. read more

We need paperwork notarized and over~nighted to me. Ysenia was very personable and helpful with our needs and familiar with notarizing paperwork. They also offer mobile notary by appointment. What a great service to have every single employee as a notary public!! I highly recommend this full service shop as compared to other shops that I called in the area! I had an amazing experience with the team at this store. I purchased a table online and needed it shipped to me in PA. I had called ahead for a quote and when Christian, at the store, saw the table he recommended shipping it via freight, for the safety of the table, and gave me a discount on that shipping to come close to his quoted price. When the package arrived it was incredibly packed both inside and out. Everyone that i spoke with, through several phone calls, was very helpful and friendly. I understand how this store had negative reviews from 2009 & 2011 as I also was unimpressed with this store prior to 2012. Although I live in Santa Ynez, I would usually drive 30 minutes to Santa Barbara when I needed printing or shipping but after using this store in a pinch and meeting the new manager (owner?) I prefer this UPS store to the Fed Ex offices in Santa Barbara. The new manager is smart, helpful and the focus is on giving great customer service. Today I went in for color copies and was given personal assistance from Christian, a man who has been very helpful in the past. Today Christian helped me reduce my poster file to a handbill format at no charge and stood by until we were both sure what I needed was coming out of the copy machine. A steady stream of customers were helped at the shipping counter by a polite young woman while I used one of 2 copy machines. As I paid for my order I complimented the young woman on the improvements I have seen in the store over the past couple of years. She asked me if I was familiar with YELP. She said this would be a good place to express my satisfaction with their business and the customer service I received because the only 2 YELP reviews up were very negative and occurred before the new management team took over. I rarely write reviews but I hope anyone looking for shipping or copy services in the Santa Ynez Valley will give Christian and his team a shot before driving over the hill to Santa Barbara. I encourage both locals and visitors to check out this store and see if my review is accurate. I came in late on Friday afternoon with a rush order for baby shower invitations with an additional insert and was greeted by the friendly staff of Omar and Kaliene. The invitations were two on a page and the insert was four on a page. I advised Omar that I needed them by early the next morning and he said that he would work on it until closing and continue first thing Saturday morning to meet my unreasonable deadline. When I arrived Saturday morning Omar was there to greet me with all the sheets printed and cut and the project completed. He went above and beyond to complete the task and the price was very reasonable. I am very impressed. This is the only print shop I will ever use again!!! read more

No this isn't a Kinkos or a place to develop your pictures, but if you are intelligent enough to know what it's use is for: "mailing packages" then they do a great job! I had them ship a guitar for me and it worked out great. Plus we had our mail forwarded there for a few months without problems. To the person whining about the cost of $50, that's nothing to pay for a breakable item to be shipped by UPS. People are constant complainers and those are the customer types you don't want, they are never happy! Great job guys keep it up! Love the town , love your store. read more
