If I could give a lower review than 1 star I would. I am traveling back & forth from Spanish Fort because my father is dying. I left my laptop on a recent trip. I spoke to UPS and was quoted $32 from that zip code to mine in the Tampa area for a laptop and packaging They charged my sister $107 laptop including $25 for packaging that should have been included in the price per UPS. They also added "signature required" which was not requested or wanted which caused chaos because I had already headed back for another emergency with my father so my husband had to get the package from local store location 4 days later (when he wasn't working) on a 2nd day OVER CHARGED shipment after 1 mid-day attempt to deliver. I have tried to ship from that UPS store for my father in the past few months. They were outrageously rude/entitled. You would think they were doing me a favor to ship a package. I left with his package and shipped it via USPS. THEY SHOULD LOSE THEIR FRANCHISE. UPS should not want to be represented by people like that. read more

I stopped by this location over the summer to have a document notarized immediately. The lady that helped me was through and quick; the process took no more than 10 minutes. Two sets of fees at $5 a pop set me back only $10, but it was worth it since I needed this done so quickly. Other customers needing help with shipping packages were assisted quickly as well, which was nice to note for when I needed to ship something. read more

I've lived in Spanish for for five years now and have used this store many times returning Amazon Amazon packages and probably three or four times a year sending packages out to family members. I wanted the community to be aware that today I was sending a manila envelope with three pieces of paper inside two Virginia and I asked to have it shipped the cheapest way. I even told the gentleman send it regular post office which they do there and he told me to have it there in two days was $21 and I said that's way too much money. And he told me to go longer it would be $14.75. I was confused because that seemed like a lot of money, but I haven't been to the post office in a long time. I decided to take my manila envelope all the way down to Daphne post office and to my surprise my suspicions were correct. It literally only cost me $1.63 to send it there. FOLKS this would've been highway robbery times nine!!!!!!! That is correct if my calculations are right, that is a 900% markup from what the UPS store wanted to charge me to send this to Virginia versus the United States Postal Service. My advice to everybody using this UPS store BUYER BEWARE. If you're using it to return Amazon items, I would recommend it if you are using it to send out stuff that is not that bigger way you are getting robbed. John, Spanish Fort citizen read more

We've used this particular UPS occasionally returning an Amazon order plus a couple other reasons without incidence. We were aware they took passport pictures, we also knew the State Department was experiencing a significant backlog, so we wanted to get ahead, and get my spouses renewal into the system. With the application, current passport, check in hand we proceeded to this, our local UPS office. We were slightly taken back the procedure was simply having my wife stand up against a blank wall using a small handheld device snapping the picture. Our assumption was they must know what they doing. To expedite we then had the office priority USPS envelope. Wow, a hefty surcharge of 100 percent added to the postage. Thirteen days later our passport, and application was returned with a letter explaining the passport picture was unacceptable. We immediately proceeded to Walgreens, showed them the picture, they identified two errors, background and the face was slightly not correctly centered. We then proceeded to UPS and was shocked by the nonchalant attitude. I presented the receipt, this was not the clerk we originally worked with, that person was handling another customer nor did she want to get involved. After 5 minutes not being able to find our receipt in the register, she then stopped to wait on a regular customer. I got her attention and asked what was it her intention to refund. She said only the passport photo. I said more or less, forget it, and I and my wife walked out. Someone said, have a nice day! We proceeded to Stapleton to the USPS and sent the application priority for half the UPS fee. That was Friday, Monday it was in the hands of the State Department. Our second submission and the check immediately cleared our bank indicating our application was accepted. I then called UPS Corporate Headquarters and complained. I then received a call from a person indicating he was the owner. He apologized and offered me the passport fee and half the priority fee. He also texted me. After giving it thought, I answered his text stating it wasn't about the money, it was about improper proper training, attitude, and lack of management, and my guess, absentee ownership. I went to say, I have no intention to seek a refund. The owner said all the right stuff, addressed concern with assurance the situation will be corrected. It's not my intention to fault the employees, they have no frame of reference the urgency of our issue, nor the seriousness that goes into obtaining a United States Passport. I fault the owner. Lip service doesn't cut it. Hopefully this UPS store will get squared away, this message is merely as a service to others. read more

One of the worst experiences that I ever have was on this store ups. I purchase a box sow mail can come to the box and I never was able to receive it. Every time I ask the employee why my mail was not there they say it probably was lost on mail ore that I put the incorrect address. After month trying to open a online buissnes whit Paypal and have a mailing delivery address the manager tells me, that wen is a buissnes I need it to buy another box because they won't accepted mail for a normal box. I purchase a bigger box ask them if they need it any more info sow my mail come they say no and guest what, my mail still did not got deliver for the next 5 month. Went back and ask why not and they say we send back mail that don't show name on it even sow I clearly ask them what I need to do sow my buissnes name comes true. They just will scam you of your money your better off getting a usps box is fated and you get your mail they won't send it back. read more
