The service is always good. Staff is very helpful and willing to answer any questions. I mainly have used this location for Amazon package returns which go pretty smooth. As far as value I would say that if you have to print anything print it before coming here because they charge you $3.00 or more depending on what you need to print. read more

This UPS store used to be customer friendly, good service and an enjoyable experience. That was before they shoved the Amazon return area to a tiny corner just inside the door. It is completely self service and if something goes wrong you can expect nothing by way of help. The woman who I believe is the manager has a terrible attitude and is rude beyond belief. There has been an issue the last 3 times I have been in there. If she has to provide assistance she has treated me as though I am an absolute moron and is quite put out. Today, I expected the self service machine to print a return label, but it didn't work. When I went to the desk, they told me that I should have printed it at home and if they printed it for me, the charge would be $2.00. By that time, I had completely lost patience and utted a swear word, grabbed my package and left. I heard her yelling at me as I left. Admittedly, I shouldn't have used a swear word, but I was frustrated beyond tolerance. When I got home, I called Amazon and they apologized and said that I didn't need to return the item. There is another USP store near East Towne and in the future I will go there, as I will NEVER step foot in the SP store again. I have noticed when reading the previous negative reviews that there are snarky comments from this store's management where they justify every action on their part. Im pretty okay with most of the customer service employees at the UPS store on Main St Sun Prairie location except for one employee.. I never could understand her attitude, her attitude is as she trully hates her job or just have issues with me minute I walk in the store. I don't like leaving bad reviews but this person needs courtesy attitude adjustment she make a person very uncomfortable giving business, I'm a customer and just saying enough lady get your uptight attitude in check. read more

The address was correct on my package and it was sent to the completely wrong place. I go into the store to try and get help and the bitch lady working there was zero help. I've seen dogs smarter than these workers. I recommend going anywhere else but UPS. read more

Bring the item you want to return and the digital QR code to the drop-off location. In doing this the first time going to the store was easy! I did have a printout for them. and the item was bagged. The second time I was met by a very very rude woman--who proceeded to tell me I did it wrong and I didn't follow the instructions, she was physically crouched over my return authorization-pointing her finger into the paper. Telling me over and over how I did it all wrong. Very bizarre behavior, I first asked her what she would like me to do? and she started the same rant again. I stopped her by taking the paper and package away from her and I told her that her customer service skills where lacking. I also told her she should be ashamed of herself for her treatment. As I walked out, she followed me! lol---yup, I told her what I really thought---and she writes my license plate down.....lol WOW WHAT A NUT!!!! She really needs to get some help; she exhibits severe mental illness! Very small store, long lines, and the computers go down alot. Amazon return process at this location ridiculous. Unlike any other stores the Amazon returns go can't go in the box/mailer and get put in a clear bag. Maybe have a bigger sign for the process with the clear bags and instead of all the mumble jumble say 'All Amazon returns need to be put in clear bag'. Sign on the door would also be useful, too. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT use the services of this UPS store. It is your money at risk, give it to some more responsible business instead, somebody who will actually work hard for you. Long story short - if you think this UPS store is on your side - you are wrong. If you think "UPS store" means it's UPS - you're wrong. If you send anything with them - there is no guarantee you'll receive it, they'll try to put blame on somebody else and very probably you'll lose your money, lots of time and it'll be nerve-wracking. We used the store's services for urgent delivery of our (accidentally left behind in the US) laptop to the UK, on July 6th 2020. We expected them to explain the service and price to us, to pick up our laptop, and for the recipient (family member) to receive it in a couple days in the UK We paid $400 (FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS) for the service, and left our laptop with the UPS store, and this is when NIGHTMARE began. We STILL don't have the laptop, it's August 24th. It was held up at the UK customs for some reason that NOBODY at this UPS store had told us anything about. The UPS customer service says it's the responsibility of the UPS store, as they didn't provide enough documentation. The UPS store says even though they have big letters UPS on their building, they are NOT UPS, they're a separate business (what?! I wish we knew they were not UPS and just a random store before we used their services, haha). And it's the failure of the UPS who lost the documentation. The customs holds our laptop for a ransom of $1000. All kinds of excuses and finger pointing. Do you really care about excuses when you pay $400 for, as you thought, responsible service? No, we just want to never have chosen this store. To sum it up, remember, we paid $400 for the service, and they still have our laptop, demand money for the customs, and demand money to send the laptop back to us. It's like robbers taking your money, your possessions and then demanding more money to give you your possessions back. read more

I have been coming into this store on a very regular basis for over a year now. The entire staff is very helpful and courteous. Whether I needed something done for work or, as was the case these past couple months, getting things ready for my daughter's wedding, they were quick to assist me and offer any advice on how to do things more efficiently and economically. This last element is extremely valued by me when it comes to projects for work as I teach music at a small, private school and often have to pay for things out of my own pocket. I have been a customer at this UPS store for over twenty years and all of the employees always go out of their way to help me. I am a wheelchair user so things are harder for me all the time, but they will always carry my boxes and my mail to and from my car. And even better, they do it with a smile. I have been going to the sun Prairie UPS store and I have never, absolutely never had a bad experience. They are very helpful and the service is very high value. I like knowing when I spend money it is going to stay local, that is important to me. The owner is local and the employees are local. What I love the most is 99.9999% of the time they do the packing for me as well. I will pay for this amazing convenience ALL DAY LONG. I have never had a package arrive with broken items or destroyed boxes. I had to recently take books to Fed Ex, as my daughter retuned books back to chegg. It was a prepaid label from chegg. I am glad I went there because it solidifies how good of service I am receiving from Steph and Bryon. The service was horrible at FedEx, they could care less if I was happy or not. I had two large returns from Amazon, was treated poorly when I didn't have two authorization codes. I didn't know I needed two and Amazon was at fault for not sending one. didn't need to be treated poorly because of it, and when leaving the employee asked if I had a problem and I told her she was rude and don't handle customer service the way it should be. She then proceeded to and said I'll take your license plate and call? I said please do. This was way over the top for a simple Amazon return. read more

We've were in between houses this summer and used the Sun Prairie UPS Store's mailbox for our mail and package deliveries. I couldn't be more impressed with the staff. They were always very professional and willing to help out. As to the reviewer complaining about the shipping prices, UPS prices will always be higher than the post office. Unless you ship in volume and can negotiate business prices with UPS, they are not the most economical. However I have far more trust in UPS being able to deliver a package safely and when they say they will than USPS. read more

Very disappointed this time. I spent $15 to ship a small item, that was dropped off at 12n on Monday & told it would not arrive until Thursday. To have 2 day delivery it was @$40. This was then compounded by a delivery issue. When I contacted the Sun Prairie store, I was put on hold for 5min until I hung up & called back, and the person was defensive about the situation. Going forward I will continue to use the Post Office as I have not had delivery issues and it is significantly cheaper. read more

I've had to drop off a couple of boxes (on two different occasions) of textbooks to ship back to the rental place. Both times I waltzed in and handed the boxes to the person behind the counter (well, once I had to wait for a phone call to end, but it was a work call and she was the only one in the place, so no biggie). Manager Stephanie is rude and racist. Had one package to ship and she hassles me because she can't scan the barcode even though label is legible and visible. And this had happened on multiple occasions. She tells me to print label correctly and mumbled some people. Lbvs, I will go tell my printer to be nice and print it correctly next time. And also I will report this to your corporate office. She's mad about doing her job. On the other hand, Byron did excellent job taken care me, maybe he should be the manager since he has people skills. FYI, it is rude and waste of payroll for manager (Stephanie) to be scrolling up and down on Facebook while customers are waiting to be served. read more

I needed multiple shipping boxes to send our company desktops and monitors to our sister site. The lady (term very loosely and she is probably one of the manger) was extremely rude and unhelpful. She gave me a box and I asked to purchase four - at that time she immediately and rudely stated the price as if I couldn't afford their ridiculous mark up. I told her I would look elsewhere and left even though I need boxes asap. FYI - I could have use this store to package our remaining 500+ computers due to them being local here in Sun Prairie. I've always heard good things about the UPS Store but my first visit at the Sun Prairie location will be my last. It's a shame as this store could have made a lot of money from us. read more

I had a 12-page program booklet for a funeral that had to be ready early the next day. The online upload tool wasn't an option because it was not a standard size. I emailed the print PDF to the store at 2 pm, and the completed order was ready by 5:30. The print quality was excellent. I was able to distribute the programs at my mother's funeral the next day. The UPS Store really delivered for me in a difficult situation. I will definitely use them again for quick printing. read more
