Each member of the staff that I've interacted with, and I think that's all of them, along with the owner, our kind, patient, knowledgeable, helpful, efficient. Great experience at the UPS store south of downtown Taos, NM. We had boxes of glasses left over from the wine festival in Santa Fe, NM. The staff were great, promised to get our boxes out pronto. So nice to be able to rely on UPS instead of trying to pack glasses in suitcases or figuring out how to carry them on the plane! The value for the $$ was definitely there! Thanks UPS! read more

Besides cheerfully taking care of my many Amazon/Zappos returns, I frequently have documents of all sizes printed. I also use the UPS Store for scanning. I buy my office supplies there as well. I visited the UPS Store this afternoon to mail a package. I was greated by a very pleasant young lady names Mercedes. She was professional, helpful and patient. She even complimented my handwriting on my package! At my age, you don't get a lot of compliments, so I left there feeling great, and it didn't take long to take care of the task. Hours aren't accurate. Arrived at around 5:00 on a day it said they were open till 5:30 and the door was locked. 2 employees in the store chatting, looked at me attempt to open the door, then just went back to chatting without so much as a "sorry, we are closed." First, I'd like to say I have used numerous UPS stores and have had excellent, actually, above and beyond service. This store advertises that they can print but have no Wifi so you can't connect and send the documents you need printed. A few of the pages that I was finally able to get printed were printed more than once. I eventually got about 10 pages, including the duplicates, and a bill of $15. This included the computer time that I didn't realize I was paying for and the clerks time. Try other print shops in town. read more

Jeanne own, manages and operates this store by herself. I have been in this store and listened to people get angry because she has to follow the rules. "no mask, no service" only "2 people allowed" -- signs are posted.. She is so busy all the time, that there is no time for chit chat -- strictly business. I wish people would respect the times we are in now and realize that all these business owners are under extreme stress -- and respect the state's mandates as well as companies' mandates. read more

The personnel in this store always seem to resent that you are taking up their time even when it's just returning an Amazon item which is very uncomplicated. I went to the store with a heavy box and was struggling to get it inside. The two women in the store just ignored me as I tried to hold the the door open with my body to maneuver the box inside. Once inside they were curt and seemed annoyed. I have decided enough of this, I won't use their services again. I read through Jeanne,the owner's responses to critical reviews, and in each one she angrily blames the customer. No apologies whatsoever. Perhaps the owner should find a business where she doesn't have to have anything to do with the public. Truly pathetic. I still find it hard to believe that this a corporate store. The rudeness and incompetence is embarrassing. They forgot to scan a return item, would not help in any way with even seeing if it left the store yet, 5 days after it was dropped off. The employee, a young female, hung up the phone on me when i asked to please check to see if the package was still in their possession. The owner, a female, wasn't rude, per say, but would not help. I was asking a reasonable question. In fact, UPS corporate told me to reach out to them again, as they have no reason not to help. Except maybe apathy, disinterest, rudeness or too stoned. They didn't even ask the most simplistic question... for the tracking number to check on their constantly updated system. And by the way, the package did show-up at its destination. Ooooops, they forgot to scan the package. I'll reiterate what another review of two months ago wrote....because it's spot-on..... "The absolute worst service I have ever experienced! The employee has no idea what she's doing. The owner was rude and not helpful. That woman, the owner, wouldn't give me her name. She also yelled at me saying it was my responsibility to make sure that I had a lable to shop. I explained that I do not have a lable, and the girl I had the original transaction with said "okay", when I asked her (twice) that the package was to be returned to the original sender. She did not. She was rude and seemed "stoned". I have never been treated so rudely by any business, it's employee, and the owner." This been proven to be, in my case, again, spot-on accurate. As yet another reviewer mentioned, over a year ago, that whenever they called when they were closed, or when they were open but to busy to answer the phone, a voice message announced that 'The mailbox is full and can't accept new messages. Goodbye.' Hang up. And that is exactly what i also got, over and again. Just to confirm before i posted this review, i called again, and yup, same thing. It shows just how unprofessional this place is. It also shows that if you find something important enough that you have to leave a message, the owner apparently doesn't find your concerns, questions or inquiries important enough to check the messages, answer them, erase the old messages and allow room for new messages can be left. For a year? Because apathy and disinterest rules here, and they do not care. - Incompetence....check. - Unprofessional....check. - Horrible customer service.....check. - Rudeness....triple check. Prepare for yet another defensive answer from the owner that tries to shift blame and fails to take personal responsibility. Jean and her staff have been very helpful with some of the large packages that we have had delivered And sometimes we even receive a call that our packages have come in. that's always nice when that happens ! I just wish we wouldn't be charged $5 or $10 for each individual package ! That really adds up. To bad there isn't an alternative to this ! read more

I used to take Amazon returns here. As far as I know it was the only place in Taos where I could print the UPS label to send it off. Now they say they can no longer print things in the store. "Print and Business Services?" I don't think so. Now I am left hanging with extra hundreds of dollars charged on my credit card for trying to buy the right size pair of boots and needing to return the packages. This place is useless. read more

Because I can't rate it lower, called to get a phone number to the other UPS parcel pick up in Taos. They said the number quickly and hung up. Tried for an hour to call them again and the machine said that the mail box was full. Extremely poor customer service and rude. read more

Jeannie, and her store, are both, simply, awesome! I've used this store for two years--both to receive my mail (I get a lot) and to ship packages. During that time, I've had not one single complaint. Zero, zilch, nada. The store is an oasis of efficiency in our wonderful, but quirky, little town. It's open when it says it's going to be open. Packages arrive where they're supposed to, when they're supposed to. And my mail's always been in my box. Prompt and without delay. Of course, that' what you expect from a UPS store (and, again, this store meets those expectations with flying colors). We've had a mailbox at the Taos UPS Store for about 6-7 years now. I have personally found this store to always be neat, clean and well stocked. The owner and her employees are always helpful and strive for excellent customer service. Jeanne will go out of her way to meet her customer's needs. If the store has many customers in at once, she is on the ball. No time for chit chat, and it's obviously because she wants to help the next person in the most expeditious manner possible. Some folks may misconstrue this as her being curt. It isn't, it is simply because she realizes that her customer's time is valuable. And so is her's! Keep up the great work! read more

In a small town it is nice to have a one stop shop for many things. I get packages sent here since most Fedex and UPS drivers just can't seem to find my house, I've had occasion where I needed to print things (both B/W and Color) and just discovered a shredding service as well. This is all in addition to your basic pack and shipping services in a clean, well organized and pleasant environment with pleasant and friendly service. Oh they have mail box service too. Website says store opens at 7:30 on weekedays. Actual door of the business has a sign that says 7:30 on weekdays. I pulled in at 8:40 am on a Monday to drop off a package. Door locked, lights off, no one there. Not open over an hour after opening time? C'mon guys. On the few previous trips here I haven't been impressed with the service. There's many more, and more convinient Fed Ex locations in Taos, switching to them from now on. read more

The lady that answered the phone when I called is totally rude!! didn't even let me finish my question. I get it, she had to give me a different number for a different department, but my gosh, at least let me finish my question. Cut me off every single time I tried to talk. Even when I repeated the new number back to confirm I had the right number, cut off!! if your busy, you know your not the right person to help a customer, whatever it is its no reason you have to cut them off and rush like that. read more
