I do not recommend this business. When they came out for the initial visit to see what was happening to my oven they were there for maybe 5 minutes, which cost $93. They said they would have to order the part and come back. When they came back they said it would cost $385. Ok. But when they came back, they pressed a reset button which took all of maybe 5 minutes and charged me $133. I don't understand why they couldn't have pressed the reset button on the initial visit. So all in all they charged me $233 to press a button. No I will not use them in the future. read more

I would give a lower Star rating, but this is as low as I can go on your site. I contacted Frigidaire about my Freezer that stopped working as it was under warranty. They told me to call D and S appliance repair out of Taos New Mexico as they provided warranty repair for this area. I scheduled an appointment and waited about 14 days at which time a man names Sergio came out and looked at my Freezer and said," we have had a lot of problems with these because the evaporator fan gets ice on it and stopes the air circulating. Sergio took it apart put it back together and said it was fixed. I had to throw away $1,800.00 dollars' worth of meat prior to Sergio coming out because the freezer under warranty failed. The half of cow I bought had processed and placed into this freezer was ruined. Segio left I tipped him some cash, and all was well for about a month and then the freezer stocked with another side of beef did the exact same thing and stopped working. I even gave Sergio a 5-star review because he was courteous and seemed to know what he was talking about. So, once again I called Dand S and scheduled an appointment for a repair for the 4th which is today, and they gave me a time twice the last one on the 31st stating someone would be out to look at the freezer. So, I waited 3 and a half hours taking time out of my day and not seeing my clients to be here for their repairman to show up. I called their office talked with a lady there and she said Segio had ordered a new seal for my freezer and he would come out when it came in, but no one had called me to tell me they would not be coming out and why order a part not even knowing if that was the issue. Folks I would not waste my time with this company to repair anything as the left hand does not talk to the right hand and they simply cannot fix anything as far as I am concerned. Don't use their website scheduling service. I did it and they called back about 4 days later - which was way too late. If you're going to offer media type services, like scheduling, either stay on top of them or get rid of them. JThey never did service for me as a result so I can't comment on the quality of their work. Update 1/17/19 - we rescheduled a couple of months later and they had very good service. The guy was there right on time. Unfortunately, the repair cost was going to be so high it made more sense to just buy a new refrigerator. If the repair cost was lower I'd have given them 5 stars. read more

I have owned and operated service businesses for over four decades. No one gets it right 100% off the time but when it's my turn to get a job 100% right I like to acknowledge. Thomas came to the house today in the early part of the estimated arrival window. He finished within the estimated time I was told to expect. He was professional and personable. He made my options clear and offered good advice. The dryer is old but a reliable model so I had him replace all the moving parts. The bill was a few dollars less than guestimated. I had an excellent experience. They came out to repair my LG washer. They even have the part on hand. The washer would not drain the water and after cleaning the filter it still did not work. They tested everything to make sure that The pump was really needed before installing it. Repair cost was reasonable and less than the competition. Have been trying for over a month to get someone to come to repair a refrigerator, under warranty. This company first asked for a 4-hour window to come to "do paperwork". Then they finally got the parts and made very heavy weather of scheduling the repair. We spoke to the repair person twice the morning of the appointment, then twice during the scheduled 2-hour window of time for the appointment. At no time in any of these calls did the repair person say they didn't think they could make the appointment. They said, yes, they would be there. Finally, at the end of the 2-hour window, the person said they couldn't get here near 5 PM. It would be near 8 PM. They wanted us to wait from 3-8 PM to have a very simple repair done. This is the appliance repair service from a bad movie. I will pay privately rather than have alleged warranty service from this company. I can't take days off work to accommodate their incompetence in scheduling. I agree entirely with the other reviewer. I have all of this documented in writing in case the company wants to inquire about this review. read more

We had an exceptional experience! Called on Friday for a GE dryer repair. Earliest they could get a service technician to us was today, Wednesday, and it was DEFINITELY WORTH THE WAIT! They told us on Friday they'd call on Tuesday to set up a scheduled service time. They were true to their word and called Tuesday afternoon with a time (four hour window). Sergio arrived, got the dryer apart and diagnosed and fixed the problem, which was related to a recent move. He was able to fix the problem, no parts required and only charged us for the service call. He was friendly and professional. We will use D&S for all appliance repairs in the future and will ask for Sergio by name! read more

Would like to add an additional positive comment about D&S Appliance. We live in San Antonio, Texas and have a vacation house in Angel Fire. D&S comes to Angel Fire on Wednesdays only, which makes being there when the repair person arrives almost impossible. I have described the first visit, at which time another part had to be ordered. As promised, the D&S repair person got to our home on Wednesday, but the wrong part had been sent. That meant another visit on the following Wednesday, October 5, with the correct part. The repair man not only fixed the Samsung refrigerator (on warranty until Dec.); he pushed the refrigerator back where it belonged, wiped the floor dry where the appliance had defrosted, and put back condiments, which had been placed on the kitchen island. It's difficult to get service in the mountains. I did have to call a few times to make sure that the repair man was coming, but that is to be expected. I think D&S did a great job. read more
