This place is the absolute worst. The take zero accountability and take the easy way out and blame the UPS driver when things go wrong. I paid $150 for overnight delivery and was told "our usual driver never showed up, don't will get there a day late". UPS stores usually fly under the radar with neither praise nor criticism. It's for this reason that I want to give a particular shout out to the folks at this store. My husband was recently there and renewed his account, accidentally using his company credit card. He noticed the error and returned a few days later with his personal cc and the kind folks at UPS went through all the machinations necessary to correct the error. Bizarre behavior and Poor Management My family has used this UPS store for more that 15 years--- we have spent thousands of dollars with this store due to moves around the country and the fact that our families are dispersed throughout the country. Professionally I am an experienced, educated (MA, MBA, EdD) corporate consultant and leadership coach with a long line of clients including Walmart, Johnson & Johnson and the Federal Reserve Bank. I came in the store yesterday to get some help returning something from a store in Pennsylvania. The man behind the counter I had met before and he was quite nice. I showed him the paper work from the PA store and he told me I needed to do something online first. Since I had left my phone in the car I told him I would go get my phone and we would figure it out together when I got back from the car. When I re-entered the store minutes later a woman I have never met nor ever seen was vacuuming the carpet. She looked angry and oddly at me and out of the blue began to berate me claiming I had abused the man behind the counter--he denies this of course- but the woman ignored him--and she also stated" that it seemed every time I was in the store I created upset and confusion". WHAT?? I never was in the store with her!!! If I was I had no memory of it. I have had no bad interactions with this store that I can recall and interacted consistently in a friendly way with people working there even when they seemed stressed, overworked and not efficient. They lost a package less than 6 months ago that caused me severe stress and upset---related to taxes. I did not stop working with them. I felt they tried their best. I thought perhaps this person with the vacuum was in some way confused or ill---I was just returning with my phone to continue to work with the man who I was already working with. I had no idea who she was or why she was berating me ---she kept insisting I was a terrible person causing frequent problems. It felt unsafe and bizarre. Since I know the store manager and he was not there I called him on my phone to tell him what was happening. He listened and seemed to indicate the woman may have confused me and was very stressed from a tough day. I explained what happened and was clear this harassment from a total stranger in a store I frequented was 100% unacceptable. I expected him to have this woman call me and apologize or somehow indicate that of course this behavior is completely unacceptable and indicate to me how this woman would be re-trained or helped to recognize people before accusing them of actions they have no knowledge of. He said of course "he would speak with her". Then I took my belonging and left the store assuming something positive would happen. Instead since there was no attempt to apologize or right this wrong, I have decided to stop using this UPS store. When a staff member is allowed to publicly abuse a customer they do not know and continue to abuse that customer with no repercussions I have to say "enough". Does the fact that an associate of your company has had a tough day allow them to abuse me--a total stranger and frequent customer? I hope this matter is addressed by those at your company involved with People/Human Resources/ and/or Store Operations----and it is made clear to associates that abusing people you do not know, calling them names and accusing them of something they had no idea about, (and is also long time customer) isn't appropriate---or for that matter isn't common sense!! I am going to use try another UPS store on the theory that this was a case of unusually poor performance and management but very out of the ordinary. I had stopped by to drop off an Amazon return, had a few people in front of me! The man named Stan and woman named Any were working with customers at the register's. This was around 5pm, they had couple that was there speaking to the employee Stan weren't very nice. Not sure why, both employee were respectful. I can't speak of any other locations, but this location on Sunrise Dr provided GREAT customer service. Joyful, attentive, professional yet personal, and charged a more than reasonable fee for the services rendered. Honestly, I'd go out of my way to use this location. read more

We sent two 2-day delivery packages via UPS from Tucson to Seattle. One arrived on time. The other took five business days to get to a major Seattle law firm. I understand COVID has impacted delivery services, but why did UPS ship my letter to Seattle via Phoenix, to Louisville KT, to Tacoma, on to Seattle then back to Tacoma finally back to Seattle for delivery. The curious shipping schedule is not the fault of this store. However when we complained about a five day, 'two day air delivered letter" , the manager of UPS at 6890 E Sunrise Dr, hurried us out of the store to keep other customers from hearing our complaints. "We don't guaranty anything!" she yelled pointing to a sign. "Then why sell one or two day air delivery services?" We asked. The lesson I took from this interaction is simple; don't go to a store who doesn't value its customers! There is no shortage of UPS or Fedex franchises in Tucson, So if you want service or even a polite interaction with at checkout, just drive down the street to another franchise with a better YELP rating. I have everything good to say about this store. A very important package was shipped overnight to Manhattan. Unfortunately UPS delivery in NY sent it to the wrong address. It was returned to sender to another UPS plant in Manhattan. Stan worked long hours tracking this package down, and making sure it got delivered to the correct address . In today's day, you do not find employees who go the extra distance to ensure great customer service, and communication to a client . Stan not only found this package but let me know on a daily basis what was being done to get it to the correct address. Thank you Stan for all your help in locating our package in NYC. this was no easy job. Will definitely use the service of this store again. read more

Very quick process each time I come. Workers are familiar with return policies. Packages always deliver promptly.

I've been using this UPS location for my business for about a year and a half. I wanted to make a review for one of their employees - I believe his name is Will (although I am not positive of the name). I only go in once or twice a week, but he is always incredibly helpful and courteous. The store is in a great location but in any retail establishment it's the employees who care for customers who really make a business shine. I would give 5 stars for the store itself (and a few of the other employees I've worked with there are great, too!), but I do feel this location is a bit more expensive than other UPS store locations. In any case, these days its nice when you get good service from a representative and it should be applauded! read more

The owner does not respect Covid mask mandates, nor does he follow or enforce distancing protocols in his store. When asked why he wasn't wearing a mask, he replied that he had "allergies". From someone like me who suffers from allergies, it was clear that he had no such problem. Not even a sniffle. If he had allergies, he would know that masks help to keep allergens out of the mouth, nose and lungs. What is clear is that he doesn't care about his customers' health and safety or the laws for businesses in Pima County. We will continue to boycott businesses who disrespect human life, even long after the pandemic is over. read more

I brought a package in and they told me it would be delivered on a certain date. It wasn't. It was delayed by at least three days, apparently sat in globe Arizona for two of them. I was never told there could be a delay but when I called to ask what happened they Can't guarantee delivery dates. What is the point of telling me a date if it doesn't happen? I took the exact same type of package to FedEx the following week and for half the price the package got there in three days. No more UPS for me! read more

Had such a strange experience at this location. The guy that works here is way too serious about his job. I went to pick up a letter from this location and they asked me for an ID and I gave them my drivers license and they would not give me the package (which was addressed to me) because my drivers license address did not match the address on the package!! Its a photo ID people! He wanted another form of ID with my name and correct address on it! I'm going to avoid this location as much as possible but unfortunately all my packages are probably going to have to picked up from here :-( read more

I used to go to this UPS store regularly to send packages to relatives across the country and very rarely to drop off packages with prepaid shipping labels. Most of the time when I've come here the employees are very friendly and helpful. However, one time recently I dropped off a package with a prepaid shipping label that needed tape (only the second time in years that I've asked them for tape) and a man who I believe was the owner chastised me for not taping my own box and threatened to charge me for it. The amount of tape he used on this box probably cost him no more than ten cents. If he felt that charging me was appropriate then he should've just charged me for it. I wouldn't have faulted him for charging me for something that cost him money. However, chastising a grown adult because they don't own packing tape is ridiculous. In the future I will take my packages down the street to PostNet on Tanque Verde and Sabino. The employees there are friendly and treat customers with respect. read more

Power of the review...I've since looked at reviews that are rarely above 1 star. We just moved into the community. I mail a lot of packages, to a military spouse and two sons in college out of state, none of them will go through this store. A very nice young lady started to help me and was interrupted by a very rude man (probably the manager or owner) I'm a pretty accommodating person, but to start with "We can't" and neither will FedEx (a box was wrapped in brown paper...I get it (I was trying to reuse a box) I'm also not cheap and would have been happy to fix it or have them help me, but as soon as his attitude became I don't need your business he got what he wants...he won't get it! As I was shipping a package yesterday at @5:45 pm a customer came in and was being helped at the same time, she was very abusive to the staff and I felt the need to report that they were being helpful and felt that they deserved a pat on the back. I'd prefer a negative rating if possible and I'll give Stan, the owner, this rating. Upon shipping a large and heavy box , it arrived at our home in pieces. Even our local driver was appalled and embarrassed to see that the box, barely taped together, was bashed in with two sides gaping open. I wish I still had the pics I took. The wooden, handmade chest was split in half and the bottom was in three pieces all because of very poor packing. My elderly uncle unknowingly shipped using this guy later. Send three boxes this time, only two arrived. The papers, the frames, and other personal items were strewn about as if just tossed in the box. The third box took three and half MONTHS to arrive even after very many phone calls in which so many excuses were made it is impossible to recite all of them. Ridiculous and unbelievable excuses only an idiot would believe. I intend to follow through with superiors as this store is full of lying, incompetent, and lazy people. Is it obvious to all who read this that we will choose ANY service than UPS from now on! read more
