I avoid returning stuff because I hate the hassle. So I it's been a few months since I first tell myself I should go to a UPS store to return this amazon buy. I tried to go to one that I found online would be near my house, but totally couldn't find the location!!Finally today the weather was nice and I wasn't exhausted. I finally looked up what other UPS stores around the neighborhood and headed over to this UPS store. It's right across from south center mall on seafood city side. Located in the LA fitness plaza, next to yeti yogurt and sushi land. The whole process of returning the package was totally painless .. Pretty much a piece of cake ! The female cashier greeted me, weighted the package and then gave me a dropped off receipt. Viola !! I'm done!!! Not even taking me a minute !! Now I know how easy to actually return things .. As I was standing there deciding on what box I wanted to use, a woman there came up from the rear of the store to the counter (still some distance from me) and nearly demanded to know what I wanted the box for. I had to explain it three times to her as she wasn't getting it and questioning me. Why do I need to be questioned? It's my stuff, I didn't ask for help, and I certainly didn't ask to be badgered! As I was trying to open a box to look at the space inside, she said to me "..why don't you bring that over here before you break it?" She couldn't even bring herself out from around the counter, to me (the customer), to help me. No, she put a lot of attitude in her tone and treated me as if I was 12. What I am is a responsible 47 year old man, home/car owner, holds down a job, I even bathe regularly! I am not a rambunctious teenager bent on destroying $2 boxes. I am a customer, with money to spend and now because of her piss poor attitude, and the way she addressed me, she has lost more than $2 for I will never again enter this store. read more

Great service, no muss, no fuss, in & out in minutes for a pre-paid return. Later, I went in to ship stuff and the clerks pointed out their cookie stash to keep my 5-YO busy. I drove 10 miles to use THESE guys instead of my local UPS shipper who has zero parking. Cheerful, helpful and had cookies - what more could there be? :) read more

Easy to get in and out quickly, especially if you have prepaid postage e.g. online shopping returns. Ample parking in the lot and competent employees... Can't ask for much else from a ups store. read more

I would give it a zero if I could. Three bottles of wine were redirected to this store for me to pick up. Shipping had been paid. They charged me $25 to pick up the package that had been there a few days! This I was told was the owners decision. Ok, I know they are are a privately owned store, not UPS, so I would have accepted a small fee for taking up a few square feet, but $25.00? They basically doubled the shipping charge I already paid. Is this discretionary hostage taking of packages even legal without a posted sign? How does the owner determine who pays what? read more

I've been here twice. The first time there was a nice girl working there. I had no problems. The second (and last) time I went there, there was a woman who was beyond cranky and rude. She never said hi or smiled. She made me feel stupid for asking questions. I needed to print something while I was there too, but I decided to go down the road to the FedEx store to print off what I needed instead. It's one thing to have a great experience a few times with a business, but it's quite another to do daily business spanning years and look back and see nothing but consistently outstanding service with only one or two understandable and quickly corrected mistakes. The US Postal Service at my home is like the garbage man in reverse, and only half as reliable, which led me to get a Personal Mail Box with this UPS store, and have my mail and packages remailed to me every day. I've been doing this for about 2 years now, and just signed on for another year and a half. If everything in life ran as smoothly as this UPS Store, we'd have a perfect world. read more

I went in this place to drop a package off this morning as of 9/28/2016. There was a dark haired, short lady working over the counter. I said Hi but she gave no smiles. I told her I'm just dropping off the package, but before I could finish the sentence, she interrupts and says "Ya I know". She makes you feel you rushed and not welcomed. I said "Thank you" when she handed me the receipt. She kept her sturn facial expression and didn't say anything back. I thought I was the customer here? I'm not coming back. read more
