I have gone to this UPS Store many times, and I've had nothing but wonderful experiences. The service at 6745 on every level is excellent. I typically don't write reviews but I was deeply appreciative of all the help that Robert provided at store 6745 with my Amazon returns. One item I had brought in needed to go to Staples, however, he saved me a trip as he showed me how to select a different store from my returns area in the Amazon app and where I could select ups drop off rather than staples. Customer BEWARE! UPSELLING TATICS I recently visited Venice Ave UPS Store and unfortunately had an extremely negative experience that left me feeling disrespected and beyond frustrated. The owner's behavior towards female customers, including myself, was completely unacceptable. His attitude was dismissive, condescending, and downright disrespectful. It felt as though he didn't value my business or take me seriously as a customer. Moreover, the upselling tactics employed were both unethical and aggressive. Rather than listening to my needs or providing recommendations based on my preferences, the owner relentlessly pushed products and services I didn't ask for, with no regard for my budget or wishes. It was clear that the priority was making a sale, not ensuring customer satisfaction or building a genuine relationship. When I raised concerns about the quality of service and the upselling practices, the owner was completely unwilling to take any responsibility. He refused to acknowledge any faults on his part and instead deflected the issue, showing a complete lack of accountability. His dismissive response only added to the frustration, and I was left feeling like my concerns didn't matter. It's truly disappointing to experience such a lack of professionalism, especially in a business that should be focused on treating all customers with respect and integrity. Based on this experience, I will not be returning, and I would advise others to think twice before supporting a business that fosters such negative practices. The reason I had NO choice but to call Amazon myself and spend over two hours on the phone with a representative so far was because of the fact the UPS store REFUSED to help me once they messed up the transaction. I visited this store a few months ago and was treated very rudely by Robert. He was chastising me for not "smiling". He was very passive aggressive even going so far as to shout out 4 or 5 things to me as I was leaving such as, "Have a great day" "Thanks for coming in" "Come back soon", etc. He did this even after I had said "Goodbye" and "Thank you" to him - even though I felt his comments about my mood were uncalled for. He would have had no idea that I was dealing with a very ill granddaughter and was just trying to get my packages mailed. Fast forward to today, I went into the store and Robert appeared at the counter. I asked him - very politely - if the other girl in the store could help me. She rushed up to the counter and ask what she could do for me. He immediately told her she had to go to the back and take care of a "packing order". I asked him why she could not help me as that was my preference and he repeated she had a "packing order" to do. I then asked Robert for the owner's name and number - he refused to give it to me. He wanted me to leave him MY name and number - no way. I again asked if he had a business card for the owner - he said he did not. Once again, I repeated that I didn't understand why the other girl couldn't help me and he again gave me the lame excuse of a "packing order". Robert has also been rude to my husband several times because my husband doesn't put the packages on the scale exactly as Robert wants them. My husband is 80 years old and doing the best he can to comply. I think it should also be noted that a couple of years ago I went into this store and an older man was extremely angry with Robert. He was goading him to come out from behind the counter so that he could fight him. I am the one who called the Sheriff's department on behalf of this employee. It is clear to me now that Robert is the problem. He is passive aggressive, he is short and even rude with people, and he has no business being at the counter where he deals with the public. He is the one who should be assigned to the back area where he can do "packing orders". I would have loved to have spoken to the owner about this before writing this review, but again, Robert refused to give me his name and number and I was unable to locate it online. read more

I'm giving this 2 stars because the UPS Store offers a lot of necessary services. Yesterday there were 2 employees, one a trainee and the other was someone in charge. I had several packages I needed to have them pack to be sent overseas to a DPO (same as APO). The trainee helped me but asked the manager for help since it was her first overseas transaction. The trainee was smart, pleasant, patient and knowledgeable. She only needed help with minor requirements. The manager was so rude to her. So rude to us. So rude to her own customers. She criticized and was belittling to everyone She hated her job and was an embarrassment to the UPS Store. At the end of the transaction this "manager" refused to place the label on our package and made us leave with our blank box sitting there. read more

as a "follow up" to the comment from the ups store, I'd like to emphasize how rude and unprofessional the women were that were working last Monday, June 16. I returned within one hour and was rudely attacked by not only the woman that "helped" me, but the younger girl that also works there. I didn't even explain what I thought would be an easy solution, I was snapped at by the younger girl and told that it's not the UPS problem, I need to call Amazon! Well I have great news for them. I called Amazon and they were incredibly professional as well as understanding. I had been shorted almost $60 by this store as a result of how she chose to handle my return. I now had to wait about 10 days to be refunded and today was my lucky day. Amazon handled my dilemma (from the Philippines) smoothly and as promised before July 1. I emphasized to the representative that this ups store has a two star rating and I will not be going there anymore. I'm sure they are nicely compensated for handling the Amazon returns and would hope that people do their homework prior to supporting a business that doesn't care about its customers. Robert and Wendy are fantastic clerks! I stumbled upon this place last week because my usual UPS is closed for construction from Milton. I came back on Sunday because I saw signs saying they were open on Sundays. The other store says they are too, but they rarely actually open on a regular Sunday. This time, I took the time to really look around, and this place is spotless, well-organized, and the people there are super friendly and know how to make customers feel welcome, even with lines of returns. These guys are quick and have a great system to get you in and out. They deserve five stars just for actually being open on Sundays like their sign says. I have done allot of company and personal business with several UPS stores, but store #6745 does a stellar job. Professional, supportive, reliable , personable, cannot say enough. Robert and Wendys customer relationship skills are 10 plus. They go overboard to satisfy the customers need. The worst! The manager randomly decides if they are accepting USPS pick ups. First they made a size restriction now even if you want to drop a letter or really small parcel PRE PAID! So they literally don't have to do anything, it's totally random if they will allow it. You can't do that as a SERVICE provider. Either you do USPS drop offs or you don't! And the manager is slow and rude. read more

Robert, the owner, is always a pill. He has that condenscending tone with just about everything. I frequent his establishment to make Amazon returns, mostly. In my opinion, he does not like handling these type transactions and lets you know it. I am guessing that even though he is compensated to be a drop off location, it is not what he thought it might be so he takes it out on you, just my opinion. At any rate, this location is convenient for me, so buck up Robert, you will still be seeing a lot of me. Frankly, on the rare occasion that I may need to take care of other business your store could help with, I highly doubt I will come to you for it. read more

Let me start with; I am an experienced shopper and returner of Amazon Products for years! However, this place has frustratingly incompetent help (in retail) and do NOT expect an inch of tape to help you! They almost brought a young lady to tears who was dropping a 'fully boxed' Amazon return from them being that picky. I also brough a small return (1 pair jeans) that was completely in it's original packaging, but not taped where it was opened, it was folded over. Not acceptable, and no 2 inch piece of tape for free. If you complain, which I did, a yappy chihuahua of a manager who didn't know the facts got loud and aggressive in his very first sentence to me. It got snippy! Took my jeans and left. One more thing... The first Amazon package I gave to them... 20 SECONDS PRIOR... was NOT taped at all and THAT was perfectly fine. I have the receipt for that for if/when I discuss this with corporate! Avoid at all costs if your blood pressure escalates from stress. read more

You need to open your counter space by removing clutter so your patrons can rest their packages. If there's a line backed up we old folks need to rest our packages. You do this on purpose because your just not accommodating but you should know. 90 percent of Venice is the elderly so work with with them take the garbage off the counters snd open them up!!' read more

I went to return several Amazon packages, in the middle of home improvements while on a tight schedule as a working mom. I waited over five minutes for the gentleman to come up to help me, and he only begrudgingly did this after two other people walked in together. I was patient, assuming slowly packing items was the best he could do. He then took care of one other person while I waited, my phone slipped and I had to regain the place that had the return so what did he do? He took the amazon return of the next customer. I was a little irritated as I waited on her, I had been there for nearly 8 minutes at this point. (Just a note, the next place I was in and out in 2 minutes flat but this was the UPS Amazon listed, and I went there naively as I passed through Venice after a medical treatment.) So, after she was DONE, it was clear the two of them knew each other at least to the point where she was a repeat customer and I was not: I said if you had waited on me when I first arrived I would be long gone by now. I was in pain as I'm going through treatment, and I should not have had to wait for a customer that came in over five minutes after me. The first person dropped something off, but he took his time getting it from her. I let that go, but this was absurd. He then flipped out. He said all sorts of abusive, rude things to me and refused to return more of my items. He didn't WANT to do it, nor package my items so this was no surprise to me nor did I trust him at this point. I didn't say this rudely, I said it very matter of fact. I think at some point, poor customer service and RUDE customer service has to be addressed by the customer. For the owner's sake. I rarely speak up for myself however, but I was feeling especially put out. Along with making me wait his body language was rude. He glared at me, he rolled his eyes, he grunted, it was just an entire show that he wanted me to leave as soon as he strolled up. I have never been to the UPS store where they didn't hustle. I didn't mind that he was tired, or didn't hustle but the rudeness, that's unacceptable. Then the things said. I can't capture all of them. He did tell me I could call the owner, over his behavior which he didn't deny. I said fine, but then he pretended to give me something with the number and it wasn't there. I went to call the owner from my car, as soon as left I knew I could forget. I went back in, and he said "Since you stormed off, I won't give it you." First, what? You pretended to give it to me and didn't. So this man, Mike, is rude, fails to take care of customers, made excuses for his bad treatment that is near abuse, and then flat out lies about giving me the number. Do you think I would let that one go? He insulted me, he told me it was due to people like me that he hated his job. I'm still trying to figure out what type of person I am folks. I brought in several packages and patiently stood there without any polite feedback from him for over five minutes, and he took care of not one but two other customers while I held my phone waiting. Then he told me he did it because I wasn't ready!! That was really infuriating. I did loose my place when he helped lady number one, but I am the customer? That waited on him??? When I demanded "Larry's" number, which I've never been in this place before as I let things roll off my shoulders- he said I wouldn't get it I would have to go to his place of employment. I won't do that, and I think he knew that. He threated to call the police, and I wasn't doing anything but asking for what he had already threatened. I said please do, you refused service to me on grounds you haven't provided yet- so let's call them. And perhaps they can call Larry for me? I will wait in my car once I know you called them. I was all in folks!! He refused and got real sulky and ridiculous, walking away. IT's hard to believe this man was a good twenty years older than me, could say all he did, and act this way. I may never be able to tell Larry, but I'm telling as many people as I can. Mike, if you had let me talk to Larry that day it would have saved him. The calls I made and the reviews I left wouldn't have been necessary. You are not only a terrible employee that hates your job and that look was on your face when I walked in, I just give people grace and don't worry about it- you do not care about Larry's business. That's not right. I don't think we should hold this against the business owner, but he needs to address this immediately. If not, he allows or fosters this behavior. read more

Questionable Customer Concern. I have shipped from this location before, and went back to ship another box of memorabilia of my late father's and uncle from Venice to my home up North. I packaged the items, his childhood toys, in a purple rubbermaid box because it was heavy and the items were old so as to protect from the elements. Since it was heavy, so was the price to ship, over $50. Upon my return home, and no deliver on the promised date, I checked my tracking number only to find the box was delivered to another location over 200 miles away. I immediately called UPS to report the error, and they started an investigation. It took me numerous calls to the Venice location where I shipped, and to UPS in general. No one was helpful or willing to take the time to try to rectify the glaring mistake. Because I didn't insure this box for thousands of dollars, both parties felt comfortable with the pen stroke of writing me a check to make me go away. This UPS Store didn't even give me my cost of shipping back, instead they took their profit and cut me a check for $125. Never again will I recommend them or UPS. FedEx Ground! read more
