every review speaking of poor customer service, hidden fees, and rude employees is outdated. ownership has changed, Akshay is going above and beyond to spite the record he inherited with exceptional customer service and a great staff. He turned this store around, and it's immediately obvious the moment you walk in. staff is friendly, when the owner is there he personally greets you and gives you full explanations for the process and pricing. rest of the staff is pleasant and do their job with enthusiasm. read more

I am not one to write reviews but here is my first ever. If I could give this UPS location a 0, I would. As other have mentioned, what is so wrong with giving receipts to customers who request them? Today I entered to drop off two prepaid packages. No hello from the owner. He just says "leave them here" on the counter. I politely said "hello" and said that I needed a receipt. He laughs and said that is not necessary. I said I would like one and he continued to argue until I mentioned that Jim, at the UPS store on Berdan , in front of Wayne Hills, never argues with me and always gives me a receipt; in fact he just automatically prints one out. He printed it out for me. I said thank you and as I walked out he called me rude. What was rude about asking for a receipt? A receipt is proof the package was dropped off and scanned. I don't know what might happen to them after they are left on the counter with a bunch of other packages after I leave the store. read more

I do business in the area, so I've been going to this store regularly for years and actually think the owners are really sweet and helpful, so wanted to write this review. They know their stuff when it comes to shipping and their prices are really good. I've printed stuff, dropped boxes, and gotten stuff notarized here too. All easy and convenient. I never felt they were rude and I've been here a lot, so I don't really agree with the other reviews here. read more

I had eight legal briefs that needed to be comb bound to meet a tight shipping deadline to the Superior Court and the Defendant's hack Attorney. They had it done in two hours. I brought them home to get them ready for shipping. I re-read the brief before packing and found it had a mistake on one of the pages. It was after hours so I couldn't go back until the next day (which made me lose sleep). I figured I would have to have the whole thing printed and bound again and pay for the service. I was wrong. The owner reprinted the page over, split the binding and inserted the correct page on all eight and said there you go (no charge). I was out of there in less than 10 mins...they are very helpful and anything I need to ship in the future, I'll be using this store. read more

UPS Store #3286, located in the Valley Ridge Shopping Center in Wayne, NJ has provided consistent service for years. Consistently POOR service, that is ! The franchise owner (let's call him "C.C."), simply does not know the meaning of customer service. Even when you are the only customer in the place, C.C. doesn't want to take a few seconds to scan the barcode on a ready-to-ship package being dropped off, so that you can walk out with proof that the package was shipped. He will tell you to check online instead. Not sure if it's laziness, or if customers are viewed as little more than an annoyance at this location. They might as well put out a door mat that says "GO AWAY". What ever happened to the old UPS advertising slogan "What Can Brown Do For You" ? We will be using a different UPS drop-off location from now on, or mailing our packages at the Post Office just a few doors down. In stark contrast to the wretched service provided at this UPS Store, the Post Office customer experience feels like VIP treatment, delivered by friendly, knowledgeable, white-gloved Postal concierges, who are happy to provide a receipt showing proof-of-mailing. Either UPS does not know how poorly their customers are being treated at this location, or they just don't care. As for C.C., he seems to be better suited for a job where he won't have to deal with people. read more

i shipped a package today via ups over night. i was charged $105.00 which i thought was too much at the time. when i got home i created a label on the ups website with the same exact weight and dimensions, $67.90, i was charged almost $40.00 more. i called the location to question why i was charged so much, they were very rude and un willing to discuss the matter with me and hung up the phone on me. i repeatedly called back and they would not answer my call or blocked me. i hope my package gets shipped . very poor customer service. i will never use their services again. I was traveling through Wayne and had to send 3 paintings out on our way to a weekend retreat. We had just walked out of another local ups store because they had wanted $220 and tried to force us to send the paintings separately to the same location. Here there was no hard sale and we paid $90 to have it packed and shipped. So much cheaper and honest. Incredibly happy with the honestly of the store owner as we have later found out these are all independently operated. read more

I was utterly unimpressed by this The UPS Store location. I stopped in on Thursday afternoon to drop off a pre-paid UPS package for shipment. The associate said "Hello", then told me to drop it in the box. I told him that I needed a receipt. He looked totally bewildered and did not want to do it. But I was not about to leave my package there without proof that it was dropped off. How am I to know that it wouldn't just disappear? He reluctantly scanned my UPS label and handed over a receipt. This is not the kind of service that I would expect from a reputable company such as UPS. I think I'll return to the Little Falls location where the staff is extremely friendly and willing to help out their customers. read more

My family and I have been going here for years and the owners Casey and Young have become like family to us. They've known my parents for many years now and know our entire family by name. I recently visited the store again as I was in town to spend time with my parents and I can't tell you how wonderful it was to see Casey and young again. They've always been friendly, reliable and do an amazing job packing and shipping for us. My parents used to ship care packages to us when I was in college through them all the time. It's nice to know I have a place in my home town to drop in for all our shipping and mailing needs and to be met by smiling familiar faces for all these years. They are wonderful people! read more

I needed a package to get out ASAP. UPS never showed up to our office for a overnight shipment. So I called this UPS store and said that the UPS driver was here. I asked them to have him wait and I would be there in 5 min. 7 min later I showed up and he driver was gone. They said he could not wait any longer. They then desided to see if we could make my box smaller to fit in a UPS drop box which gets picked up at 730. Needless to say they were able to get my box smaller while saving the shipping label. They then walked the package to the drop box them selves. Customer Service was great. Now let's see if UPS can get there job done read more

I went to this UPS store just to ship my UPS package. It was pulling teeth to get a receipt when I dropped off my box. I called the UPS customer service and they instructed me to always get a drop receipt whenever I drop a box off to prove that I did drop off my box. This UPS store employee didn't want to print the receipt. Kept on insisting that if I have a computer then I don't need it. For a simple receipt- he didn't want to print up it for what 1 cent for the paper?? I would not do business again here- there are plenty of other UPS store to go to. read more

If I could rate this store a zero and have their doors closed I would. I had an emergency package that needed to get shipped out to an Child suffering an illness. I wanted to use my company discount pricing. It was close to last pick up by ups. I called asking if they can arrange to still send package out. Owner said yes if I pay for shipping. Naturally I would be paying but using my company discount. He refused to assist because he would not make more money on my emergency. In today's day where everyone struggles to do what's right these owners of store 3286 were shameful. I managed to send my overnight package without their help. They were concerned I wouldn't pay for use of their computer a whole $3 as the only reason I came here is because my printer would not print. As a resident of this town I will never use this store. I also will ensure no one of my colleagues or contacts walks into this place. May god forgive their shameful behavior and perhaps they should move out of our town ! I'm sure these " religious" owners will be praying as if they are good Christians. Shameful. read more
