Verizon at this location was my go to for service. The last time I went I told the manager that nothing is offered to long time customers. I recently called with the same complaint. After I've been a customer over 20 years I threatened to go with Spectrum. Well now they have a new program to opt in where I get rewards for paying my bill and spending money on phones and accessories etc. I'm opting in for the start date July 1st per my daughter's advice and recommendation. My husband's "vintage" phone died. He's been using it since 2016!! So I came to the Verizon store hoping to rescue the situation. Well, I can't believe how great it turned out! Duaine took on the task of making the relic phone work well enough to extract information. After many tries, he was successful. Duaine refused to give up no matter how hard it was, and meanwhile he was polite, calm and reassuring that it would all work out OK. And it did!! I have been instructed by Verizon to return equipment to that store but was treated the most disgusting way. The employee refused to comply with Verizon' own return instructions (others had the same poor experience - see online reviews). One employee mocked my accent (I lived 15yrs in NYC) and verbally insulted me. I felt so insecure in that store that I had to leave. The store has CCTV. What a wonderful experience. Between Leah and Tasha great personalities, this has been my BEST cell phone purchasing experience. I stopped in to inquire about upgrading my phone and signing up for a family plan. I have to say that Leah was super amazing. She pretty much gave me all of the information that I need to know, informed me of all of the promotional deals, and patiently answered my many questions. I dropped by the store later on the same day; however, Leah was helping a couple of customers and put us in contact with the store's manager, Tasha. And, Tasha was fantastic. Although Tasha was working with us, she was still assisting other customers. Normally, I get annoyed when customer service agents try to juggle a bunch of customers. But, Tasha was amazing at triaging everyone. Pretty much she would set up something on our phones, then quickly assist someone else. She rarely left us waiting for too long to complete the next step. I'm definitely going to visit this store the next time I need to purchase anything Verizon-related. One tip: Try to arrive as earlier as possible. During my first encounter with Leah, around 11ish on a Sunday, the store was pretty empty. However, by 12/1 pm on the same day, there were quite a few folks. Although the customer service was amazing, I was slightly disappointed that all of the iPhones had those huge security brackets/braces on them. Since I was upgrading from a small iPhone SE (hey, I'm not ashamed), I wanted to get more of a feel for the larger phones, which was impossible with the security brackets/braces. read more

Warning when you call this branch very nasty/rude guy who refused to give his name at 10:15 am today May 17, 2024 for extremely rude service and asked me not to come to his store. Can he do that? Hope you check call log. Background: Verizon supposedly upgraded by router but the new Cr1000a does not work so I was asked to return "new" router for my old g3100 router. Mind you we are working from home these days, this guy has so much attitude he expects me to drop everything on a work day for a router that was pushed down on me (Verizon took $600 for not returning a perfectly functioning old router for this new router which was caused huge inconvenience!!) Icing to bad service is this guy at this branch and his attitude telling me routers are 1st come 1st save and when I reminded him of his attitude he said: "Don't come to my store!" Totally tone deaf! I'm not jumping with joy to keep changing routers and incurring fees for a mess I did not ask for to begin with. read more

I thought this was a legit Verizon store! Guy tried to sell me 1 lightning cable for $42!! I asked for two cables, and he only processed one. He said they don't have a second one right then. Then when I showed him that on Verizon website it cost $19.97 he said these are online prices. Store prices over 200%?! He also told me that there are no refunds on accessories, which I had to proof him wrong as well going back to Verizon website. Finally he didn't wanna deal with me anymore and sent me to another guy. This guy didn't give me a refund either but opened the drawer and pulled a second cable out! Scammers!!! I stayed away from stores like that for a while but now they are actually allowed to put an official Verizon sign up to do their fishy business. STAY AWAY FROM THEM and rather go to the store on 109th and Broadway. This one's legit. read more

Went to the store to return my router and pick up a new router. Asked if we have to return the service box and they said yes, so we returned that as well. After calling customer support because we were unable to connect to the WiFi with the new router, it turns out we were never suppose to return the service box. Now we have no WiFi and got 2 kids who need to use it for online school. read more

I went to the store return an extra modem associated with my FIOS account and they decided to cancel my entire account! This caused me to spend 2 hours on the phone fighting Verizon to get my account Re-established. Turns out this process is irreversible and I had to be set up as a new customer. I don't understand what kind of company would willingly cancel someone's account without ASKING but this is the quality of the service that these people provide. read more

buyer beware!!!! this is not a verizon owned store. they are only an authorized dealer. as long as they sell verizon products, they can have a verizon sign. they can set their own prices for a phone. try to convince you that the 3g will be obsolete or not work once change over to 5g, but thats not true. charge you a set up fee of $50 (at verizon-owned stores it is free.) read more
