Nestled in the Melbourne square mall between Dillard and JcPenny go through the mall entrance and it's on the right corner when you walk in. For the most part I have had great experiences. Just one time I had a bad experience where the student was more into checking his phone than doing my service. Otherwise everyone has been wonderful. Of course you are trading value for time because most of the time they are wayyy slower but typically the instructor monitors them as they do the work. Like I just said that one time I had a bad experience and the instructor wasn't as good engaged either. Since I know I was coming back I didn't want to name names but took a while before coming back to make sure I didn't get the same student! So quality 4 stars because of the bad experience I had to call the instructor over several times value 4 stars because Again just that one time! The other experiences 5 stars! DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION! I have dropped off two very valuable, pre-labeled packages at this location in the past month, and both items got FUCKED UP while in this store's hand. The first one never made it to the destination because someone at UPS tore the label off and so the package was returned for a damaged label. The second one, which I dropped off on August 6th, IS NOT EVEN IN THIER SYSTEM, so I have NO IDEA WHAT HAPPENED TO IT. But I keep my recipts, so this is going to prove to be a VERY EXPENSIVE MISTAKE FOR YOU, UPS! So BUYER BEWARE - IF YOU HAVE TO SHIP FROM THE UPS STORE ON NEW HAVEN, MAKE SURE YOU SAVE ALL YOUR RECEIPTS. Otherwise, do yourself a favor, and go to the UPS stores on PATRICK or WICKHAM. Hate this place so much. Today I get there at three minutes to close and they flatly refused to accept my (four) ready-to-go UPS shipments. After I drove a half hour to get here. I know it was close to closing time but traffic slowed me up... and mostly 6:27 is not 6:30. If they hadn't been prepping to race out the door like the building was on fire at precisely 6:30 (which I just watched her do) she could've helped me, what I had to do drop ship would've required maybe one single minute, total. How does someone stand up for an employee and talk crap without even seeing the proof?! Funny, there was a lady returning a patio umbrella to Amazon at the same time with the same return email. 2 customers right... Jim WRONG! RIP to this location. We had an Amazon return that clearly stated that no box or packaging was needed. Jim said they don't do Amazon returns without a box. Funny how Amazon's email stated no box was needed. We ended up getting charged $20 for the return, and he said to take it up with Amazon, and stated that UPS doesn't make money off Amazon returns, as if it's the customer's problem. The automated service just hung up, and the online forms didn't work. They also recognised me as an existed user (while I was not) so I couldn't apply online, as the indicated email just didn't work! 2,5 hours of my time just for nothing! The worst. Went to return an item to Amazon. The package was completely prepared for shipment, except my printer was not working. They charged me $3.15 to print a one page label. Really??? Then, we had a shipment arrive while we were away. The merchant was able to redirect the package to this store. The next day I received a call from them, stating it would be there and I will be charged a $10.00 'holding fee' for the first 48 business hours, for a box smaller than a case of wine. He said he was 'sorry'. NO. You're NOT SORRY! You're commercial CROOKS, in my personal opinion. I only use this location due to its proximity to my home. i had a mailbox with this UPS store for several years. I stayed with them even when a closer UPS location opened up. I was aware that the contract said they would not EVER forward mail. Last August they suddenly informed box holders that they were going to move in less than 30 days, please let all my customers know. So it was on me to make sure all my customers knew I had changed my address. They said the Post office would forward my mail for a short while- which did NOT happen! My mail was returned as UNDELIVERABLE. They did not believe me even though I showed them the envelopes with the yellow undeliverable stickers my customers sent to me. 6 months later I am still collecting checks from customers who mailed to the old address. A Major hit for a small business like mine coming out of covid. The common response I got from my customers was when the check returns to them they figured I had gone out of business. I closed my box (which I paid for the whole year and it took 3 months to get reimbursed, and they were reluctant to do that and they shorted me. The post office said that if i had gotten a real PO box this would have never happened. Never get a fake mailbox. read more

"Now, get out of the store and never come back to this, or any other UPS store" said James, the clerk I encountered, after I declined to ship with them over the "tape use charge" that I did pay for. I will show the receipt in the photos. Shipping a shoebox size package, shipping quote was given, I agreed and picked up the tape gun and peeled off a piece 11 to 15"s long, to add to my home packaging tape job. Two guys working, no customers but me. James said, "there will be a $1 taping fee." It was downhill from here. I said, "A dollar for this much tape?" James explained that customers use up a lot of tape and it costs them money. I said, "how much tape did I use so far, I'll pay it now, but I'm not shipping here, I'll just pay for what I used and go somewhere else." James, "you can drop the attitude." I said, "no attitude, I'm just not shipping here, I'll pay the tape I used and leave, but I want a receipt" and handed him a paper one dollar bill. I did not ask permission to use tape, so they are entitled to be compensated if that's their policy. James gave me a receipt describing the purchase as "tape use". James said, "Now get out of the store and never come back to this or any other UPS store." There was a tall guy, who didn't say anything, and James who did all the talking. I picked up the box and went to Fedex near Target on 192. Of course James can't "ban" me from going to other UPS stores, but I can't go to this store because I was officially told not to come back, and that is the store proprietors right to do so. I said specifically that I would be adding this event to my Yelp reviews, just before I walked out with my parcel. UPDATE: Response to the owner's follow-up reply below. To the Owner. I won't be sending you any personal information about me to your store email. I don't want any sort of reparations from you. Additionally, Its irrelevant to me what action, if any, you take with your employee James. It's none of my concern if you "write him up" or promote him. Went here to fax a very important document, two workers inside one on the phone talking about vacuum cleaner parts and the lady on her cell phone texting, never looked up, no greeting , nothing and if it wasn't for the fact my legal document needing faxing I would have left . By far the worst run UPS store I've ever been to. I've used ups to send and receive Amazon package historically. Typically when I need to return something I bring it in its box and the people help me tape it up. At this store they try to charge to tape any box. Gotta bring your own tape. The owner of this store is greedy and inconveniences his customers to make a quick few extra bucks at the cost of his customers. I will use FedEx from now on or have ups corporate pick up my package. Paid for overnight shipment the package was not picked up so delivery did not happen!!! Have been waiting all afternoon for call from manager and checking tracking site to see if package has been picked up. After 6:00pm in the evening and still no movement on second day. If I don't hear from manager in morning and the package has not moved overnight I will be contacting UPS personally. I would recommend going to the Kinko's down the road. read more
