I used to go to the Reynold Rd location years ago, but a pair of gold earrings I was returning disappeared once they were given to the clerk there never to be seen again. The customer service at this store is terrible. I stopped using this location several years ago, after I decided I was not going to patronize a location who spoke to customers the way these people do. Unfortunately, my daughter made a purchase last week from this location; she came home talking about how rudely she was treated. I explained it to her that I choose to never go to this location because of that very issue. She purchased the wrong items and needed to return them. Per the return policy printed on the receipt, items with an NR are not returnable. These items were not marked NR on the receipt, yet they still refused to return them. My online auction item was delivered to the UPS store to ship. Lightweight fabric item weighed less than 8 ounces in a bubble envelope. UPS store charged $30 to ship UPS. I asked "September" the woman who "helped" me on the phone, to ship USPS instead, and she said they didn't use Priority Mail. I had no choice but to pay what she demanded. I received the item in a bubble envelope. I googled the return address and according to their own website, quote: "We offer metered mail, postage stamps, Priority Mail®, Priority Mail Express®, First-Class Mail®, Every Door Direct Mail®, Every Door Direct Mail -- Retail®, Media Mail®, Military Mail Delivery, Parcel Select®". I realize they will make money on their shipping service but even the UPS base rate before they added their "fee" was overpriced at $17.82 Ground. Major ripoff. The woman I spoke with on the phone named "September", LIED to me about shipping Priority, and forced me to pay outrageous UPS shipping, and she was rude. Avoid using this location #2717--in fact, avoid using UPS at all. If the UPS store won't offer you USPS shipping, when in fact they do use it, just go to the PO and ship. Wow! Awesome - the husband and wife owners helped me shipped some very challenging items. They were incredibly busy and had just dealt with an "unruly and unpleasant customer" who really believed she knew more about the shipping options than they did. They didn't seem fazed and suggested some options with cursory pricing for me and asked if I mind leaving the school desk so they could figure it out. A few hours later they quoted me better pricing and asked if I wanted to proceed. Stellar customer service. Next day when I came in to pay for the shipping item I had packed some fragile items to ship to the same address - they tactfully suggested they might packing could result in damage and offered to redo my packing for a modest amount. This is my go to UPS store. Service is normally pretty good. I showed up late on the Saturday before Christmas. Maybe the girl waiting on me had had a bad day or was just tired but that was no reason for being rude. When the prices seemed high, I started asking questions on options. It was like pulling teeth and she seemed upset. When I realized my 7 packages would be 1/2 the price if I asked for USPS rates as opposed to the UPS rates she initially quoted. Great customer service. All my shipments done through this location have never failed. The individuals operating the store have always provided the best shipping options for my needs. I frequently ship packages to Canada and the parcels reach the recipient on time. Even with the whole covid situation we are in. My latest win with this UPS store's service is an engagement ring sent to my son in Kansas as he is going to propose to his girlfriend this week. The ring has a high insured value. Mrs. Sangha provided me with all possible next day options. Also, she had recommended the safest form of shipping for such an item of its value. Air shipping rather than ground. My son received the package the next day (before end of day) without issue. Well worth the price and comfort knowing the package is safe. Thank you for your great service. BEWARE AMAZON RETURNS LEFT HERE: I used to rely upon this ups location until they just switched to a batch box for Amazon returns, meaning you won't get your Amazon return credited or returned immediately, and possibly not at all if lost. BEWARE if you are dropping off Amazon Returns!!! They claim if not processed, you will be able to get a refund, but that means keeping the receipt and contacting amazon, and hoping for the best. take your amazon returns elsewhere. you will not get credited or refunded by amazon immediately upon tendering the item, and possibly not at all if lost or delayed from batching orders instead of labeling the return as they used to do. i no longer go to this location for that reason alone. otherwise, they were a very good location and convenient. read more

I ship and mail frequently and this store is the closest to my house. The rates to pack and ship are reasonable and I have never had a problem with package they handled for me. The staff is always friendly and one morning even opened the doors for me 20 minutes early when they saw me waiting outside. They have a repeat customer in me! read more

I had been a customer since the place opened its doors and until the ownership changed in 2017 I was very satisfied. Now, not so much. The new owner immediately jacked up the postal box rates almost 50%. I tried to negotiate with them and they knocked a few bucks off the rate but just temporarily and not near enough to keep me around. I was appalled by the service I received here. I brought three things to be shipped to my apartment out-of-state-- 2 separate boxes (they just needed to be taped up) and a large tote bag full of items that I was hoping would be shipped in its own box. Without asking, the guys who helped me put all three items-- the two already large and heavy boxes as well as a very full and large tote bag-- in the same box! The end result was an extremely oversized package that needed to be insured for an enormous amount of money. I had already waited for a very long time (because they were super slow to get things going as well), and being that I had a plane to catch back to NYC, I didn't have time to wait for them to unpack that ginormous box, repack the items in three separate shipments, and undo/redo the transaction (not to mention a large line was building behind me at this point). So now I have to cross my fingers that the shipment will arrive okay, that nothing inside will be crushed by other heavier items in the box (the tote bag had more delicate items, for example, and one of the boxes had a steamer!) AND I have to figure out how I am going to carry that insanely large and heavy box into my apartment (I live in New York City so packages are left in the lobby and I have no doorman). It's not only the senselessness with which that packing job was executed that boggles my mind, but also all the assumptions that were made. I was not asked how I'd like my items to be packed in the first place. It was assumed that the 100-dollar insurance that comes automatically with a shipment was enough, so when I asked for more insurance, he had to redo the whole transaction. Very slow, very unprofessional, and extremely lacking in common sense. I don't work for a UPS store and I can pack better than that. I will NOT be returning to this location. read more

One star is too high a rating for this place. Wow. Rudest customer service EVER and blatant ripping off of customers. The post office will charge 1/3 of their rates and offer much better service. I will never return to this horrible place and I kind of doubt the packages I sent out will ever be seen again. I was a regular customer prior to this year. Former owners did a fine job but the new owners are slow and clueless and worst of all, incredibly RUDE. I will be contacting corporate and anyone else who might know how to get this place closed down.
