These folks here are fast, they had about 4 people in front of me when I entered and I was out in 5 minutes or so, definitely faster than going and waiting in the Spectrum store to return the equipment, thanks for the great and quick service. Aultrice was AMAZING!! I thought if I came right when they opened there wouldn't be many people there. I was wrong, but she was SO FAST! She must have taken care of 20 customers, including myself, in less than ten minutes (and I had twelve returns just by myself). I don't get why so many others rate this store so low since I've visited it twice now to return defective orders from Amazon with absolutely no issues, no long lines or any problems. I always found that their cashiers were always eager to help as well as nice to the customers. I've even had them laughing and giggling whenever I interact with them so... no complaints here for me. I would have given 0 stars to this UPS Store if yelp had given that option. we recently moved from Winston Salem to San Jose, CA and we shipped multiple boxes and a tv from this store. We bought boxes from the home depot for packing and shipped tv in its original box. First of all, they didn't say that UPS and UPS Store are different and you have to go through a lot of hassle for claims if the item or package gets damaged unless you get it packed at the store by paying them. The lady at the counter didn't say anything while we are shipping tv in the original manufacturer's box and I have paid around 750$ for 6 packages1 small box, 1 medium box, 3 large boxes and a tv.I also took 500$ insurance for my TV. I COME TO KNOW THAT THE 500$ I HAVE PAID IS NOT AN INSURANCE, IT IS JUST A DECLARED VALUE, NOT GUARANTEED IF YOU GET IT BACK IF THE ITEM IS DAMAGED UNLESS YOU HAVE THEM PACKED THE ITEM BY PAYING FOR THE SERVICES. My another suggestion is don't get the estimates online, it will be completely different while shipping at the store. We have received all our boxes on time but none of my boxes came in their original shape.Most of them are broken and torn. Even I accept this since we shipped large boxes. Here is the reason for 1 star. Once I received my TV, I was so excited to open it and see. I was hoping it would come alright.But my TV screen is broken along with the styrofoam. The guys who handled my TV didn't handle it properly not sure if it's UPS or UPS Store whoever it has they dropped it for sure. I thought I can claim my insurance at least, but UPS said it is our mistake .They said we haven't shipped in a good box and there is not enough cushion inside.Seriously, if the box is not good, why did they accepted it at first and why did they ask me to pay 250$ for shipping. And also it is not an easy process to claim insurance and getting back results from them. It took almost 1 month to get that result from them even with multiple follow-ups. I DIDN'T GET A SINGLE PENNY BACK FROM THEM EVEN AFTER DISPUTING MULTIPLE TIMES FOR MY TV. UPS and UPS Store have the worst customer service and will never try them again. Go with FEDEX if you can, don't just go by the Online RATES because I have paid at least 20% more of what was shown online. read more

This is MY UPS Store of choice. I moved back to Winston-Salem in July 2019 and needed to find me a UPS store immediately. Thankfully, I found the folks at the Reynolda Road location. Every time I enter the door of this store, I am greeted with a smile. No matter who is behind the counter, or whether I am dropping off Amazon returns or sending a fax, I receive the same level of quality service. I also appreciate that this store seems to hire our young folks, and a diverse group that mirrors our community works there. Everyone working is professional, courteous, and appears to enjoy their interactions with customers. Whoever the owners are, they are doing an excellent job at hiring and training. I will continue to call this MY UPS Store because I like to contribute to businesses that mirror the morals and values of quality and equality that I hold dear. This store gives me that good vibe that it does just that for each and every customer that walks through its doors. I highly recommend them. read more

People here are very rude and don't care about their customers. It is either they are ignorant or deceiving; I wanted to ship a large heavy item, so I called and gave them the item dimensions and weight, she told me that it would not need a crate, a box would be sufficient and the price would be around 260. So I brought it to the store, now the price is 690! When I looked surprised, what looked like the owner to me, said that an estimate is just an estimated price... and the clerk that spoke to me on the phone said that she gave me a price for an already boxed item!!! An estimate that goes from 260 to 690 is not an estimate, this is kick in the butt. I took the same item and went to a FedEx store that boxed and shipped it for less than 300 dollars. This ups store is a rip off. No wonder they have such a bad reputation. Answering the reply on my review: the same item I took to your shop was going to cost me around 700 dollars to ship and box. The same item cost me less than 300 at fedex. So it is either you guys do not know what you are doing or UPS is more expensive, there is no other option here. I am sorry but it is not that she did not know how to explain the difference between a boxes item or one that has to be boxes by you, that first option was never on the table, I called and told her that I need it to be crated, she said, it can be sent in a regular box and gave me the price after I gave her the exact dimensions of the item, I would understand if the info I gave her were a little off, and that would increase the price a little, but going Fron 260 to 690 is unacceptable. How did fedex send it the same way you were going to mail it, and charge me only 290?!!! Based on what she told me on the phone, I put a heavy item in my truck and drove 20 mins to your store, then drop it off at the store and get hit with such an outrageous price! First, this store has relocated (which doesn't have anything to do with the review) They moved from a location next to a Harris Teeter that was recently closed, to a shopping center up the street, in the Lowes Shopping Center. Their new address is 2806 Reynolda Road. Don't even bother going here. Go to the one on Peace Haven Road. The door on this store opens out, making it very difficult to enter the store if you have large packages to ship. The owner of the store will stand behind his counter, watching you struggle, and do nothing to help, even though there are no customers in the store. This franchise owner doesn't deserve to have a UPS shipping store. read more

I shipped a package, contents worth $2,000+ and forgot to ask about additional insurance. The contents were damaged in shipment and I was offered the mandatory $100 for a $600 claim although according to UPS home office I was supposed to sign a waiver declining additional insurance, that was never mentioned. They didn't offer to mail the $100 and I didn't bother to pic it up so as to avoid a confrontation. These people are rude, I'll never go in their store again. read more
