I generally don't complain but this store on several occasions I've been there has one man that is either having a bad day or hates life and people. The only way to describe my experience with this man when he's there is that I'm a pain for even walking in the store! He's gray haired/balder man and I have yet to get thanks for coming or Have a Great Day. Not sure if he Mr Grumpy owns franchise. Why do I feel bad for dropping off my packages? I even repackage the item. According to Amazon I don't have to do any of that except take out my iPhone and show you the scan. I package the items and trust this store to scan the items and simply drop them off to avoid long lines. I've never Never had an issue. But dang , Mr Grumpy makes me feel I'm being a pain. This store is the worst! I have used them several times and this time is the last straw. The staff is incredibly rude and never wants to help. This time we shipped several boxes to my husbands new job in New Hampshire. The completely repacked the boxes and stole one of his collectibles. The box pictured was delivered in this condition and several books were damaged. He called to file a claim and was told to call this store today for a resolution to the claim. They hung up saying they were too busy to talk. Then called back a couple hours later saying it could take 3 weeks to investigate. The claim isn't even very large. Don't trust these criminals with your stuff if you ever want to see it again. They are thieves and rude as hell! read more

I've had to visit this location numerous times to return Amazon packages - something I had never done before visiting this store- and they make it super quick, easy, and efficient! I've never had to wait more than a minute and they are super nice. I've also pre-purchased UPS shipping online and shipped out from here, same thing - super quick drop off, no issues. read more

What a joke of a business. Long lines literally OUT the front door and slow moving employees who couldn't care less about getting your needs addressed. This was my third and final visit. I frequent this location many times as I have a P.O. Box and return my Amazon packages there. Note that there was a limit of two outgoing USPS packages that must be fairly small. Not sure if this is still the case but it was something that USPS requested as there must have been a high volume of USPS picked up here. The closest post office is on the other side of town so I totally get this. However, I have never had an issue most of the times I've gone with staff or with the packages. I'd say that there are days where staff may be having a bad day or extremely busy with the influx of people that they see day in and day out but this doesn't affect them from grabbing my packages, processing my Amazon returns, shipping any packages or answering any questions. The place seems to be kept clean and organized. Overall, this is a solid UPS Store location with good people working the counters. read more

I've gone to this location randomly through the last couple of years. There's one older gentleman there that is never in a good mood. They need to get him out of a customer facing role. Store takes their time even when the line extends out the door, which points to poor leadership. I'll try to avoid this place during Christmas, as I'm sure it will be a real shit show. read more

The only person I've had the displeasure of interacting with is a portly older fellow. I've been in around 12 times for various reasons and every time I've had to deal with him. He is one of the most unpleasant people I've encountered in this life. Your lucky if you get a single word out of him but his facial expressions say it all, your inconveniencing him by being there. I try to get in and out and dread if I have to ask him a question, you'll get some mumbled response and lord be with you if you ask him to repeat himself. Sad because this location is very convenient. There is a lady working there who seems wonderful, she's very attentive to the people I've seen her dealing with, maybe one day I can have her assist me. read more

UPS DON'T USE - UPS IN HAMLIN First off I would like to say this is the first review I have done. RUDE RUDE and UNCARING. Obvious they don't like their job/ business. Took a package to them to have SHIPPED to California. They lost it. Blamed the mail carrier, who I called and mail service did not ever receive a package with that tracking number. UPS Owner had NO apology, didn't even follow through to call me back about the issue. Just really not important to him. So I paid for the package, lost all the contents and they didn't even say I'm sorry or can I refund your shipping fees. I will never go there again. FYI contents was a hand made gift for a sick friend, using fabrics from her daughter who passed on.....and some new facemasks since she is ill. No replacing that. read more

On 11/24/20 I brought in a package I had received by mistake. The business I bought it from asked me to please return it and all I needed to do was simply write "return to sender" on the outside and they would issue me a refund when they received the item back. I went to this location and was told by a short blond haired older woman that "we dont do that here". I asked "You dont send UPS packages here?" I was told "you need to contact your driver directly and go through them" I asked how many people know their UPS drivers name or contact information. I was handed a card with UPS contact information. I explained to her that I had contacted the business and the told me to simply write return to sender on it and it would be returned through UPS. She finally said "fine, go for it", and handed me a sharpie to write "return to sender on the package" and proceeded to bring it to the back. Honestly I dont have a problem with the policy if that is in fact their procedure, what I absolutely do have a problem with is her condescending tone and lousy attitude. If she would have explained things to me in a polite professional manner, it wouldn't have been an issue. Instead she talked down to me and was extremely condescending, impolite and rude. I understand this is a family run business and one less customer wont shut their doors, but how much time and effort does it take to be polite or at least civil to a customer who's gone to this place of business constantly for over 10 years. read more

The best! Theses guys are friendly, funny and the best part of my working day! It's a crappy job especially when people drag in unpackaged Amazon garbage and slow up the process with bad attitudes because THEY bought cheap garbage and want to return it. It is hard to give a UPS store a bad rating since there isn't much to it other than they take your shipment and give you your receipt. But, the girl that works at this store is so rude and shouldn't be receiving customers. No, she didn't disrespect me but her attitude is terrible. She always seems like she is mad and has no manners. Probably the worst UPS Store location I've visited. Arrived to the store 45 minutes before closing and tried to print out a .PDF and was told they didn't have time. He tells me "Print it yourself" So I proceed to print out the document myself and asked if card stock was available, and it seemed like a task that would end his life if he had to grab the paper. Customer service was great until the employee could not help me figure out where my package was on hold and needed assistance, the manager was utterly rude and doesn't want to do his job. Emailed them a black and white shipping label to print out straight to their email which literally took couple minutes and they charged over 3.00 just to print that one sheet out. If I could give this store a 0, I would. This is my first Yelp review ever if that gives any indication of the horrendous nature of my recent interaction. I tried submitting an order online and their system was down. I called the store and was given an email to send my presentations to for printing. When I went in the next day before a business meeting, the presentations were nowhere to be found. When I questioned the gentleman (using that term loosely) behind the counter where they were, he told he can't find them. When I asked for a manager's name, he started steaming at me 'I ain't going to get into this with you' and refused to provide the name of the owner. As a new 'business' they sure found a way to turn off customers quickly. Yelling at a customer when you failed to deliver a service is never appropriate - and even less so when the customer was willing to speak to the manager as opposed to holding up the line. Feeling harassed and shamed is no way for a customer to feel walking out of a business. read more
