The urban jungle that I know of and loved to rent for shoots doesn't seem to exist anymore. It's had quite a thematic makeover. But when I did rent it in the past, it was a bohemian maximalist treasure trove of beauty. The host was kind and let me shoot beyond my booking, trusting me to lock up for him on the way out. I booked the Diner and the moroccan studio. Both spaces were amazing. Debbie was so helpful, and very nice. However this week I was trying to book the sun drenched studio. Waited and waited for a response. I never heard back. Tried reaching out directly and nothing. I am disappointed because I really wanted to use that studio for my shoot. I couldn't wait, unfortunately because the shoot is time sensitive. read more

We did a small family shoot here. From start to finish we were able to communicate with the host and get things done. There is parking across the street very affordable. The loft is amazing !!! It was clean, stylish and had a full set of lifestyle props.The managers were really nice and helpful. I even asked for batteries and he went to go look to see if he had any lol. So chill! Urban Jungle Studio ROCKS!!!! I used this studio two days in a row! They have so many rooms and props options! Plus they accommodated me in a pinch! I absolutely loved my photos at their location! You have no idea how happy I am with the photos and with the rates! I will definitely book UJS in the future! Seriously! The studio was nice and clean...there was so much to work with! The studio was very nice and clean! Smaller than I thought, but there was so much to work with! Signs are provided for instructions and they are easily removable to avoid being in the shots! The studio was so minimal yet so aesthetically pleasing!! Shoe covers were provided, but I noticed the carpets were already a bit dirty, but tidy enough where it isn't too apparent. There was an A/C provided because it was hot. Would definitely come back to shoot In the other Urban Jungle Studios!! They all look aesthetically pleasing! Thank you to Mark, for the quick responsive notifications. Con: the studio next door was playing really loud music (must've been filming a music video). It was not a problem for me and my guests, but I would recommend for those filming to really talk with the owner if anyone next door will be shooting a video because the walls are not sound proof so it would definitely interfere with your project! read more

I rented the Downtown Sun Drenched French Parisian Victorian Luxury Studio with Bedroom and Living Room space for a photo shoot and it was amazing! The space is clean, spacious, and well-lit. There is a lot room for creativity and plenty of props to use. I shot a full music video here with a 3 person crew in 7 hours. We brought minimal lights as the location has a lot of good diffused natural light. We shot in the neon room, so there was also a good amount of light generated by the neon signs. You will need to use an elevator (not a service elevator) so keep that in mind when you pack your gear. After paying our highly reasonable rental fee: we crafted and created within the towering walls, celebrating the room's gorgeous color, light, decor and overall vibe: one that is beyond infinite. The space was exactly as seen in the photos. There is two rooms with various looks you can do. It was in good condition and air conditioned which made it nice considering we're having a heatwave. My 2 friends and I utilized The Neon Lights space for a photo shoot yesterday and it was perfecto for our 80s theme! The space was smaller than expected, but worked to our advantage to keep on track with our rotations for each set. The lights were amazing and I loved that there were props available that suited the theme. Debbie was so nice in assisting me during the booking process and she was super informative! Chris set up our space the day of the shoot and he was friendly & communicative which was wonderful. It was easy to find the location since it was close to The Last Bookstore in central LA. I recommend booking yourself for a few hours because there is so much you can do with the space and it definitely gets your creative juices flowing with ideas.
