Doesn't have to stay here as it's so much fun to take it home for the fun of it and this Welcome to Las Vegas store is at the Las Vegas North Premium Outlet just outside of Nike store and across the restroom which is how it capture my attention. It was my first shopping day and nothing is more fun than to find some fun items that most probably explains my besties in their own special way. Lots of items to party and celebrate is found here with shirts and hats to express the joy of taking time off to enjoy in Vegas and just be the tourist that we are. I did find some items that was funny though didn't find it the bargain ($15 for socks) I was searching for considering I'm at the outlet versus the Las Vegas Strip was quite disappointing though is a nice and well organized making it easy to browse just wasn't ready to spend that $$$ for a silly item. They seemed quite busy during the holidays as I noticed they didn't have my size in a certain boujee bling outfit. The cashier was sweet and wrapped my picture frame and another fragile gift nicely. I sort of wish I got that Diva keychain but at the time I didn't because it was purple ish, not pink. The store seemed well stock but there was just 1 kind of ridiculous outfit I wanted that wasn't in my size. Oh wells, it wasn't meant to be.

There was a rack of postcards! Yippee! I got two... one for next time... haha! The variety of merchandise is amazing! They have everything such as luggage, t-shirts, lighters, plushies, mugs, tumblers, shot glasses, keychains, neck pillows, tote bags, magnets, and more! Service could improve. The workers were speaking with each other in a different language. The cashier was trying to grab coins out of my hand instead of giving me change in dollar bills. She also was chewing gum... in an obvious manner. Oh, well... i got my postcards! Thank you!

There was no shortage of Vegas worthy items. This is a great place to shop if you need to bedazzle your outfit. It felt like everything was on sale. The prices were decent. Best of all, our cashier, Danielle, was friendly and helpful. I ended up buying some stretchy black jeans with a few crystals on them. They were 50% off. Danielle pointed out some sale jewelry and I ended up with some ear bling. It was a fun shopping experience.

I went back to the store about two hours later wearing the same sweater, and the "lady "at the counter accuse me of stealing the sweater. She then proceeded to tell me that I could not leave the store wearing the sweater unless I showed her the receipt which was back at my hotel room. The "lady " asked several store employees, in Spanish, if I stole the sweater. We finally found the young lady that rang up the sweater purchase, and she was so upset about being asked if I stole the sweater, she refused to come to the front counter. These people are a joke! It's got all those things you'd want from a Las Vegas Gift Shop, with the fair city emblazoned on t-shirts, jackets, yoga pants, sunglasses, picture frames, magnets, baseball caps, shot glasses, flasks, mugs, flip-flops, keychains, pens, coasters, lanyards, snow globes, and the rest. You can also pick up a snack or drink, if somehow there's nothing the casino floor waiters and waitresses can do for you. A personal fave is the fiery orange, El Dia de los Muertos-themed merch ... it's great if you're looking for a more uniquely styled gift to take home. I am, however, disappointed in the minimal amount of STRAT-centric souvenirs. I'm guessing this has to do with the Las Vegas Gift Shop brand or some business agreement with STRAT (so they can sell their own souvenirs), but I think people on the lobby floor of the STRAT expect plenty of miniature-sized STRATs and the like. The store had the usual assortment of convenience store items and touristy souvenir type stuff. Prices are what you would expect from a hotel gift and/or convenience store and the woman working at the counter offered friendly and professional service. As far as hotel gift stores, this was a good one and I am giving it five stars because of the friendly service.
