It can be a bit overpriced, however, the unique sandwiches like the Clucking Waffle Sandwich is just such a memorable experience. It's basically two sandwiches in one and is basically the ideal guilty pleasure sandwich, you really can't get anywhere else. It's amazing to see the culture fusion between Pakistani spices and southern fried chicken and it is a beautiful example of the possibilities of deliciousness that can be had when cultures unite. This is the American sandwich! The music and atmosphere is refreshing in a town like Chatham.

Namkeen packs a punch with its bold menu of spicy chicken sandwiches, tenders and more, putting an…read moreinteresting masala-powered spin on Nashville hot chicken. We tried the Tikkaville sandwich and medium-spicy tenders, and both were good -- crunchy, spicy with a very manageable kick, and filled with tender, juicy chicken. There are a few areas that could make the food even better. The tenders have a dry, crunchy breading that tends to fall off the chicken, and since most of the seasoning is concentrated in the coating, the chicken itself can taste a little bland. The chipotle dipping sauce definitely helps. The Tikkaville sandwich has a great concept, but the tikka sauce could use some refinement. It leans a little acidic; I think a creamier, smokier, butter-chicken-style sauce could make the sandwich richer and much more crave-worthy. Prices are reasonable and the ambiance is nice, although you can constantly hear the fryer running in the background. It's a self serve concept so not much to report here. I really admire what Namkeen is trying to do -- it's a creative concept with plenty of potential. With a little more refinement and consistency, I think it could go from "good" to something you genuinely crave and keep coming back for.

Delicious!! The food and service were excellent. We ordered the crispy chicken sandwich, masala…read morefries, Big Cheese Chicken, and the paratha pulled beef roll. Each dish was packed with flavor. The crispy chicken sandwich was perfectly cooked, with a super crispy coating that stayed intact (always a good sign!). The masala fries were seasoned just right. When we ordered the paratha pulled beef roll, the staff gave us a heads-up that it was a bit spicy but it turned out to be really spicy, so keep that in mind if you're sensitive to heat. The restaurant itself was well-maintained, and the staff did a great job keeping everything clean and tidy.

When I approached the register, the employee asked who I was picking up for. I showed her the order information on my phone, and she checked it before walking away. The problem was that she never came back or gave me any update. I was left standing there waiting, assuming the order was still being prepared. After waiting longer than necessary, I had to approach another employee to find out what was happening. I was then told that my food had actually been ready for several minutes. That was frustrating because a simple update or acknowledgment would have avoided the entire situation. What bothered me most was that when I finally brought up the issue, instead of acknowledging the inconvenience, I felt like I was being brushed off with a quick "have a good night." I understand that restaurants can get busy, and I'm not expecting perfect service every time. However, basic communication, attentiveness, and respect go a long way especially when someone is simply trying to pick up an order. I'm leaving this review because the pickup process needs improvement. Management should make sure employees are communicating with customers and following through after asking them for their order information. A little better customer service would make a big difference.
