I thought the food was FANTASTIC. The menu had so many options from swarmas to fries to platters to kebabs. There's so much you can chose from. For the price and flavor it was so worth it. I got two meals out of mine. I got the gyro platter and it probably was one of the tastiest meals I've had in a long time. I thought the chicken was seasoned and flavorful. But by far, the best part was the white sauce. I would pair it with the mango lassi and it was such a great explosion of flavors - both savory and sweet. I will say they ask whether you're okay with onions and raisins in your platter. I liked them but I know raisins might not be what most people prefer to add to their rice. Service was fast. You can either order at the front table or at your seat. They got the food in a reasonable amount of time. The place looks small from the outside, but when you walk in, there's a back room worth of 30 people worth of seating. It's extremely cozy inside. There's also a parking lot right next to the restaurant and also across the street. The lot right next door is kinda small though, so you might need to loop around. Parking shouldn't be a problem and you can get a really good stop if you're lucky. read more

This place has doubled in size through the year and the decor has improved significantly through the years and this time we went it has a nice restaurant vibe. It's almost always busy but the staff always makes sure you are taken care of and treat you as a valued customer. Our favorite is the lamb karahi and lamb gyro platter. The solar wings are great too. It's not on the menu, but you can order the lamb, chicken or mixed gyro platter lunch special for under $10. Just ask for it. While it's a bit smaller than the full-priced platter, it's still a lot of food. The meat is always tender inside with just the right amount of char where the flame kissed it. It's tossed on the grill with onions, green peppers and bits of pita. On the side you get incredible seasoned rice that's always moist and is topped with marinated carrots and raisins. Every table gets three bottles of sauce to top your platter. Their delicious white sauce, a green minty sauce and hot sauce. You will use them all. The service remains excellent and friendly. For take out they give white sauce, hot sauce and ketchup on the side. The white sauce is a tasty addition to add on top (pretty sure it's a mayo base with herbs and spices - if you google it it's pretty standard at halal places). Called my order in and 10-15 minutes later it was hot and fresh and ready to go. I love leftovers so this was a great order for having plenty left over. I ordered the Lamb Gyro platter which featured a generous portion of lamb over a bed of jasmine rice and some grilled vegetables drizzled with a little white sauce. The lamb and rice were perfectly seasoned and delicious. My son ordered the Chicken Kebab platter which was equally delicious. My wife ordered the Adana salad which was well prepared and very fresh. We drove about 15 minutes to the Lake Hiawatha location and it was every bit worth the trip. They make the BEST mixed platters, their burgers are also super popular as well, but we opt for the mixed platters. The white sauce and green sauce can't be beat and the portions are a great size, usually have some leftovers for a second meal. Staff is friendly and organized. Let me start this off by saying I love Kabab Paradise. They're great, food is always top-notch, flavors are so good, and prices are super reasonable! Ever since the pandemic started, I've ordered food for both takeout and now, sit-in dining, and both experiences have been really good. Now that there is sit-in dining, tables are sanitized after every group and the waitress will direct you to a table for social distancing. One thing, the portions are HUGE when you are sitting in to dine. I ordered my go-to, the combo gyro platter with everything on it (carrots, raisins) including white and hot sauce. My friend ordered the chicken platter with everything on it as well. When the platter came to the table, I was shocked. The portion was HUGE, and in my opinion, much bigger than the already very decent-sized takeout portion. I couldn't finish the plate, and had almost a whole other meal packed to-go which I ate the next day for lunch. I haven't had much chances to try other things on the meal, but will definitely be back many more times in the future to try everything! We first rated this place quiet highly for their well-seasoned falafel bowl. The rice was so richly decadent, and the white (tzatziki?) and green sauce (lime?) made the dish even better. Next time we ordered for delivery, and there were pieces of meat mixed in with our falafel bowl - just to alert vegetarians/vegans. Our stomachs didn't feel well a couple hours later. We gave twice chances after this because we liked them the first time. We ordered a to-go, and caught a glimpse of their kitchen. It was so dirty and concerning - I suggest you don't peek in while waiting to eat your food. When we ate our food it tasted fine, but for some reason it only had rice and the falafel, and no sautéed vegetables like it used to. OMG! I am so happy we stumbled on this! It's the best Afghan food I've had. We were in the way back from the night lights and this was the only place that was open kinda late. I ordered this online and food was ready very soon. I think we kinda over ordered but it was still good for leftovers. Portions are very big and the platters can be shared. What an experience!! The place has an ordering room and a dining room. You order in the ordering room and sit in dining room where servers serve you. We sat down wherever we wanted, got a can of soda with the kebab platter and got salad and bread with sauce. My friend and I ordered 3 things to share to try out more items on the menu and I enjoyed all of them. Food: Honey BBQ Solar Wings: Pricy, however delicious and was pretty sizable. Would definitely try again and the flavor was savory and sweet. Lots of meat on it. Venus Burger: affordable and was delicious. I personally believed that it was my favorite item out of the 3 that I tried. The burger melted in my mouth with the cheese and the Patty. It was super tasty with the onions and mushrooms.
