The staff was attentive, the space looks great after the remodel, and the steady crowd tells you everything you need to know. The Kafreal Paneer was spot-on with its spice and flavor. My Chicken Korma was rich, aromatic, and beautifully balanced. My guest's Shrimp Curry was another hit. I'll be returning soon -- this place has all the makings of a regular favorite.

The menu has a lot of the standards and a few twists. Manchurian Gobi is a favorite, today we opted for Crispy Gobi. Great flavor, more savory than the Manchurian. The Vada Pav is there twist on vegetarian slider. A spiced potato patty sandwiched on a toasted bun, served with mint and tamarind chutney as well as a ground spicey powder that had that perfect heat tingle. Butter Paneer and Butter Chicken were our mains. Despite having the same sauce they each had a slightly different flavor profile. The sauce was so rich, probably could eat just a bowl of that! The paneer was the softest we've ever had, perfect texture. The chicken was tandoori, so that extra lift in flavor. Plain Naan was crispy and took to sopping up the sauce perfectly. The basmati was puffy and addictive. They gladly brought to go containers for us as well as extra rice for the leftovers.

First I want to add that the place is new and it's the owners first restaurant. The food is made to…read moreorder and takes time. Most mall patrons want something quick, so the slow service is not helpful. They gave us ketchup with the popadoms, which was strange; we are used to traditional Indian sauces. They also gave us ketchup packets with their fantastic Kathi wrap- this did not need any sauce and was delicious! It's not even pictured because we ate it show fast, after waiting so long. My only advice is to stop assuming everyone wants ketchup (I've eaten Indian cuisine since I was 7 years old and never once saw ketchup on their tables) and have some items pre-made. I will place my order ahead next time I'm at the Palmer Park mall, so it's ready when I am.

In addition to their original menu, they're now offering even more delicious Indian treats. I just had their Chhole Bhature, which was completely delicious. My colleague had an order of their Malai Tikka Leg and their Tulsi Naan; also delicious. I was so pleased with my meal, I ordered their Palak Paneer and an order of Vegetable Samosas to go. Do know that their prices are incredibly fair, and portions are quite large. You will be surprised. Easy on/off to Rt. 22 at 25th Street, Aroma Authentic Indian Cuisine will definitely live up to their previous reviews as Desi Bites; I think they'll even surpass them.

This place calls itself 'Authentic Mexican & Indian/Pak' but there isn't much Mexican about it. The 'Mexican' dishes we tried used Indian spices and often didn't include many of the things you would expect. For example the Tacos were just meat and onions on tiny corn tortillas, the side salsa was still half frozen. The Indian food I tried was ok, slightly bland, no sides. Six of us came for lunch, and half our meals were served maybe 20 minutes apart. After waiting a while we gave up, and half of us ate. I'm not sure how they expect to handle all the tables, when we were the only ones there at the time. I don't think Indian fusion restaurants work very well, and this place certainly failed to execute.

The cheese was unidentifiable. We also ordered classic indian dishes which had a upper layer of grease floating on them. The cheese also called paneer, was rubbery and the chicken in the chicken khorma was dry. The naan was underdone and tasted unusual. The owners explanation was that they don't tandoor oven, they use frozen naan, and they have no driver right now. I guess that means their former driver cooks?! Good luck if you try this food. Do not eat here.
