I was promptly acknowledged and seated. It was pretty warm inside the place, too cozy for me. I was impressed with the restaurant portion of the place as it had nice décor, nice seating arrangements and cool ceiling tile. I started off with a beer (not Guinness since I knew I would be visiting the Long Hall immediately after) and was recommended a Clever Man Attractor Beer. It was crisp, clean, refreshing, but with no bite and little character. I ordered a medium ribeye steak which was cooked perfectly. For some reason though, it did not taste like a ribeye to me. I saw that all beef is of Irish origin but just tasted different than what I'm used to in the states. The dish came with fries (chips) and I ordered a unique side dish called goat cheese croquettes which were goat cheese and mashed potatoes rolled-up and fried. I would recommend that you try them. I couldn't help feeling confused and aggravated that the arguably most popular brunch cocktail, a mimosas, wasn't included in their bottomless boozy brunch. Especially considering they were happy to serve me Prosecco, as long as it was mixed with apple and melon instead of orange juice. For 25 euros I expected more. Ordered the eggs benedict with ham. The dish was just okay. Would have benefitted from more hollandaise sauce and less spinach. My last comment is that my party arrived at 12:30 pm on a Saturday and we were seated in corner booth. The restaurant was mostly empty during our time there, however they were blasting loud hip hop and salsa music the entire time. It was too loud for my party to hear each other. We asked them if they could turn the music down just a touch and we were told they couldn't. We regret coming in and definitely will not be back.

There are heating lamps on the terrace to fight the chill. I ordered an Old-Fashioned. It was the best blended and flavored Old-Fashioned that I had on this trip to Ireland. The bar appears to be very popular and is in a great spot. Since I don't like noisy esatablishments, I enjoyed sitting on the terrace. It also gave me a chance to watch the people passing by.

We were told another party was here and they needed the table which was perfectly fine as the person delivering the info was kind and communicated with grace. Then someone else came back and told us it was fine as those people had moved to another table and we could take our time. Then another lady called Veronija came by and rudely planted our bill on the table and said we have to leave As another party needed the table. I told her we were just told to relax and she was clearly upset shaking her head and complaining. We were shocked as if we did something wrong. When we left I told her she needed to learn Irish hospitality skills and that her communication delivery was harsh and cold. We then had some guy with a beard pipe in that we were in the wrong and then we were then called racist for speaking the truth. I will never go back there again and I am still shaking at the horror of it all. We have had nothing but the best treatment and service in all my years of coming home and the many great restaurants we go to. This usually comes from the top and the manager who hires and allows this treatment of people who frequent this restaurant. I am very sad to say that I will never go to Lemon and Duke's Again. Also for the first time in my life I did not leave a 25% tip which I usually do.

Wait staff was friendly and helpful, and the food came out in a timely manner. Due to the size of our party, we were given the prix fixe menu. I ordered the salmon sashimi as my appetizer, duck entree, and sticky toffee pudding as my dessert. Honestly the best thing I ate was the dessert. I love sticky toffee pudding, but their version of it was out of this world. The toffee caramel was everything. The other two dishes weren't memorable.
