But while my guests were on the dance floor along with our children's dance group, the manager went and pulled the plug from the wall to the speakers to end the music because we were 1 minute past our contract time, that we will never understand!!! How disgusting is that!!!! Never mind the food always comes out cold and they robbed us!! They made us pay for extra meals and when the guests didn't come, I asked for those plates to donate to the shelter, and they said they didn't have them. Staff either ate them or took it home for themselves on our money. Stay away!!! Old management was amazing and human beings, this new crew is all about the money, really sad!!!

During the planning process, our coordinators maintained transparent communication with us and were extremely responsive to our ongoing questions, concerns, and changes. They helped organize with our other vendors (DJ, photographer, etc.), and provided meaningful advice and guidelines every step of the way - from selecting our menu to choosing venue décor and even providing advice as to how to word our invitations. On the day of our wedding, those same coordinators ensured that the event proceeded smoothly, monitoring the timeline, flow, and jumping in where needed. For example: when we arrived home from the ceremony, we were immediately met by Nikki's staff who had specifically prepared appetizers and drinks for the wedding party to enjoy (and to replenish!) before making our big introduction to the rest of the wedding guests. Many of our guests raved about the food being among the best they have had at a wedding. We hired Susan for our wedding after putting the feelers out with multiple companies. She was the…read moreonly one that didn't throw a website at me and tell me to "choose from what you see." She replied with a passionate answer and crafted a beautiful menu for us and also gave us her full menu of what she offered. I could tell her heart was in it, so we went with her. Originally, I estimated we'd have 100 guests and she quoted us for that. About a month later (and 4 months out from the wedding) I contacted her to tell her we are expecting about half the original amount and if it was a problem for her, it was basically my way of letting her off the hook so she could seek out a bigger party. But she promised the world and said we'd make it work. She didn't give me a revised quote, and just said not to worry, we will work it out. Okay! Shame on me for taking her word because when we were less than a month out, she sent me the revised quote which was on par with what I was expecting. I reviewed it with my husband that night and the following morning, she said "her assistant" gave me the wrong price and she sent me another revised quote which was about $400 less than the original quote... for half the amount of people!?? I told her that was unacceptable. I knew she was trying to recoup the money she lost from being out of work for personal reasons the previous month. Not fair. So we ended up working out a price that seemed fair for both of us. Okay fine, no problem. We had our venue walk-though, and she was clearly distracted by my handsome husband. Annoying, but understandable. Not professional. At this walkthrough, she explicitly said she and her staff would handle all the things that we were dropping off and that "it was our wedding day, we didn't need to worry about having our guests setting stuff up" (some stuff for the tables, gift bags that were already assembled, just needed to be put on the tables, and a few other things). She was definitely distracted and I don't think she remembered that she promised us she would "handle it all," as the contract stated. I thanked her profusely and said she was saving me so much stress and how much I appreciated it. I am stupid for not getting that exact part in writing because literally THE DAY OF MY WEDDING as I am about to put my dress on and leave from my hotel, I get a call from her saying "I cant set all this up, I have to get in the kitchen." I was absolutely dumbfounded and furious. I was supposed to be at the venue in 20 minutes and as the bride on my wedding day, as I'm already anxious and stressed, I had to start calling my GUESTS to handle this task she said she would handle. I had everything so organized with a printout of where it was going according to the venue layout i had. It was easy to read and would've taken her team less than 10 minutes to do. My husband also told her when he dropped everything off DO NOT CALL MY WIFE about anything. Him and his boys had dropped the things off before they went to get ready (they didn't want to do this running around in their nice clothes so they still had to get ready. During this time, she was following my husband around saying look at this, look at that, look what i did. He told me after the fact, of course. During this time, she could have easily unpacked the things she promised she was going to, but she was chasing him around like a little puppy. I was so disgusted. The food was good, although some of my guests left hungry (EMBARRASSING!). I don't think there was enough food, but she claimed my guests just ate a lot. I was also so disappointed that she did not do the desserts we said we were going to do. I wanted three things: a chocolate mousse shooter, a strawberry shortcake shooter, and cannoli. THAT'S IT. I had these items printed on the brochures for my guests. Well, dessert time came, and she had a variety of different desserts. She had what was on her original menu before we changed it- an assortment of mini desserts, pretty much all of which I did not want. The chocolate mousse was included in the assortment and it was so chemically and sweet, it was unbearable to eat. I also found it extremely rude that she pulled me out of the photobooth as I was with my guests to shove desserts in my face. I mentioned this to her afterward and she defensively said that "any bride would be thrilled to have the owner of the catering company bring her dessert," completely dismissing what I said to her. She made me feel so good in the months leading up to my wedding, but sadly dropped the ball big time when it came to the actual event. I waited a month to post this review because I was SO UPSET in the weeks afterwards, especially since she was rude to my friends. She claims no, but I would trust my friends with my life and if they tell me she acted rude, I believe them over her any day. To conclude- the food she provided was all tasty. Delicious. Our family and friends were coming from NY, NJ, PA, MA, NH, ME, and some southern/western states, so we were looking for somewhere easily accessible from all directions (with no crazy traffic like in BX/LI/NYC), near an airport, hotel, and with a lot of things to do nearby. White Plains was perfect and very charming. Our hotel, venue, restaurants, cafes, stores, mall and after party bar were all within 5-10 minutes of each other and super easy to get to. Christine was our point person from day one. Communication with her was timely and transparent throughout the entire process and her professional demeanor made our experience stress-free. As an out-of-state couple, she was super helpful providing insight, sending pictures, answering questions as they popped up, and scheduling a few visits for us before and after the wedding. She gave her honest opinion which helped us a lot when we were on the fence with a few things. Upon arrival for the rehearsal, we met with Christine and Michelle, who were a great help to us and our families - from the many questions to the many boxes of decorations we brought in ourselves, they had positive attitudes and were able to create a beautiful day for us with the help of their team at CV Rich. We really loved working with everyone there! Since we were not as familiar with the area, Christine suggested having our rehearsal dinner nearby at their sister property, Sam's of Gedney Way. This is where we had our initial tasting for the wedding menu (which was a blast) and where we ended up returning for the rehearsal dinner that was just as fun as our wedding. We had a private room on the enclosed patio, which was perfect for our group. The food was unbelievable - our guests were raving about it all weekend - and the service was amazing. We were able to meet May, head bartender for our wedding, who worked both of these events - she was phenomenal. Photos of the mansion were great - we booked this venue without even visiting - but once we were able to see it in person, it was so much better than we thought. We loved how there were so many rooms for our guests to access and the vast amount of windows that let in natural light throughout the mansion. The rooms were already so nicely decorated, we didn't need to do much to them. There was plenty of room for the items that we did display (6' seating chart mirror, photo frames, guest book, card boxes and small bud vases). The sun rooms were my favorite, and were so perfect for our portrait photos when we were unable to have them outside due to the rain. Having two separate bridal suites upstairs the whole day/night was ideal; this private area was great for getting ready (hair & makeup were done at the hotel) and storing our personal items during the event. Unfortunately, our photographers didn't capture as many photos of the venue itself, which we are very sad about, since everything looked so beautiful (I tried to include a few photos here that do show it off a bit). With rain in the forecast, we knew there was a chance we'd have to move the ceremony inside. Christine was texting with me all morning as we discussed the best possible options. We ended up having the ceremony inside, which was disappointing since we were dreaming of our ceremony in the garden for so many months, but the team made the ballroom look absolutely beautiful and comfortably fit our 155 guests. Christine and Michelle had an assortment of the cocktail hour food sent up to the bridal suite for us to enjoy alone right after our ceremony ended - that time with just the two of us (and food) was so essential, I recommend that to all future couples. The food was outstanding and our guests were blown away by our cocktail hour which included 8 passed hors d'oeuvres, three theme food stations, a full bar, and a coffee/tea/water station. The food during the reception was also phenomenal. For the first time ever, my 6'6 football player groom had no room for a second plate that was offered to him - he thoroughly enjoyed cocktail hour and dinner. Shoutout to May again who made sure we always had our water and favorite drinks replenished at our sweetheart table!Dessert was wonderful for those who weren't too busy dancing or smoking cigars.
