Not only with the breathtaking venue, but with you all. We did not feel like we were just another couple, you remembered details about us, and we truly felt special. I was a bridesmaid in a wedding here and the venue is beautiful and the staff is really nice ! The only downside was after our rehearsal, we hung out in their bar/lounge area and it would have been nice if they had a few more menu items to share other than fried food. read more

A special thanks to Early Campbell, she was extremely helpful during the ENTIRE Day. We were scheduled to have our wedding in March 2020 but due to Covid we were forced to change it to October. Everything worked out beautifully, we partnered with The Vineyards and made it happen. If you are hesitant about a Covid wedding, don't be! Everything was so safe, we held the ceremony outdoor at sunset and it was simply breathtaking. All guests 70 were socially distanced 6 feet apart. My best friend got married on 9/24/22 at the vineyards and her wedding was amazing! I was in the bridal party and I saw first hand how the staff pays attention to detail. They go above and beyond to make sure you are happy. My friend said from beginning to end her experience at the vineyards was magical! Every time I think of our daughter's wedding at The Vineyard in Simi Valley, I smile. Shadi and her wonderful family and staff created an event full of beauty and happiness for us and for all our guests. Even months later, whenever we see our family and friends who attended, people rave about the food (the salmon!! the dessert bar!!! the cappucino stand!!!) and the magical setting (twinkly lights, fun and creative places to sit inside, gardens where you wanted to linger longer outside). From the perspective of my family, what we also loved and appreciated was how smooothly everything flowed, which allowed us to enjoy every special moment. I would give them a thousand stars if I could. Reasons I loved the Vineyards: 1) Flexibility - they were very easy to work with in terms of swapping out items in the all-inclusive package, adjusting start times, and accommodating requests from our caterer. I called Soroor in a slight panic the week of my wedding, because the makeup artist required an earlier start time if we were to take photos before the ceremony, and she accommodated! We toured a lot of wedding venues where the venue rental time was very strict, and you were upcharged if you or your vendors arrived even 15 mins before the start time, but the Vineyards was refreshingly accommodating to our requests. 2) Ease of planning and good vendors - We chose the all-inclusive package, because we didn't want to deal with the stress of coordinating all the different vendors, and I was definitely apprehensive about photographer, flowers, DJ, because I had no idea who they were. I trusted that Soroor and Jimmy had good taste as the Vineyards is beautiful, so I just took the gamble, and it paid off! The photographer was super easy to work with. I sent her some examples of the light and airy style I liked, and she delivered! The DJ was tasteful, mostly kept to playing music and making announcements, and was not obnoxious or trying to get the party started toooo hard (lol). He also had great insight about possible awkward moments and how to minimize them when we met with him. He was also very organized with his spreadsheet of song preferences, so we only had to meet once. We ended up doing our own caterer, because we wanted Vietnamese food, but we used the Vineyards for appetizers, and they were really good! I would not hesitate to use their catering package. 3) Convenience/ beautiful space - We loved that this venue was easy to get to and had a beautiful ceremony and reception space. We toured a couple of places where there was either a beautiful ceremony or a beautiful reception space, but not really both. Plus, the space was already nicely decorated, so we didn't have to worry about bringing in draping and lighting to spruce it up. The getting ready areas were huge, and the staff really made us feel at home, serving coffee and tea throughout the day. We didn't have any last minute emergencies, but I'm sure they would have taken care of it. 4) Great staff and service - our wedding day went off perfectly. There was a large staff directing people where to go, a day of coordinator handling all vendors, and our own caterer's additional staff. They also started collecting our things and packing them towards the end of the night, so we really had nothing to do. Attended my Company's holiday party here. The winter wonderland decor was festive, fun, and relaxing. The bar was located in a cozy lounge area where you could sit and chat without yelling at the top of your lungs. The banquet/dance area was spacious with plenty of room to socialize and sway. 10 out of 10! What a beautiful venue this is. The staff was absolutely fantastic, and my cousins wedding was the most beautiful I have ever attended. Where the bride gets ready is spacious, and breathtaking. Everything about the venue was impressive. They got married in the garden, which you have to take a semi-steep path to get down to, but they offered rides on a golf cart which was very helpful and thoughtful making it no problem at all. We had our wedding at The Vineyards and we truly had the best experience. It's not only beautiful and luxurious, but their service is top notch. We cannot thank Shadi, Soroor, Jimmy, and their staff enough. There are a few moments I want to share that showed us how awesome they are at what they do. Prior to the ceremony, my husbands tux had some wrinkles and Soroor went ahead and steamed it without us even asking. At the end of the ceremony, they had drinks for our entire bridal party and a cold towel for me since it was such a hot day! When we were running way behind schedule during the reception, they pivoted and made sure we got everything we wanted done on our list. Everything felt so seamless and any time I was stressed about anything they got it covered for me. All of our family and friends enjoyed their time and could not stop talking about how gorgeous our venue was, how delicious the food is, and how much fun they had. Our daughter was married here several months ago. The cocktail bar space and the reception room were unique and set up to inspire a good time for all. The lighting effects staged a magical feeling upon entering each area. The outdoor venue for the ceremony made for beautiful photos, but had some challenges as far as access. Down a steep, switchback trail with stairs in various places, it was not easy to negotiate for anyone with balance issues, or women in long dresses with fancy footwear. Thankfully, no one tripped or fell, but it felt imminent. Also, the grassy area where seating was placed for the ceremony had some bald patches, uneven turf, and muddy spots. This was not ideal for guests, nor for the bridal party come photo time. Those are the reasons for the four star rating, versus five. The coordinator was excellent, from what we saw. We met her during the rehearsal, and she was ever-present during the day of the wedding. She must have put in a long day. Am sure the bride and groom had met with her multiple times before the big day, as she seemed quite knowledgeable about their wishes. Buffet-style dinner was attractively laid out, and filled with great tasting options. It was much more satisfying than most food prepared for a large gathering. Kudos for that! Service was smoothly carried out, enhancing the party. All in all, a great venue, aside from the outdoor logistical situation. A fun addition to the cocktail lounge area was a cascade waterfall effect on the exterior window. Someone likes to add a touch of whimsy to the ambiance. read more

I visited 10 different venues, looking for the perfect one for our wedding. We picked the Vineyards and it was perfect! I love that the Vineyards is a family establishment. Shadi guided us through the wedding planning (included!) and she was a delight to work with. The wedding went exactly as planned and it really felt special. The venue is beautiful. The reception area looks amazing as is, but you can add any flowers and decorations that you want. I highly recommend the garden for the ceremony. It's a beautiful tableau and it felt cool getting married on a high platform. The food is top notch. I've never had better food at a wedding. The vineyards hosts a tasting twice a year with all the couples getting married. It's a fun event! You get to try all the entrees, appetizers, and drinks. Amazing place for a great dinner experience! Hidden away in Simi Valley, this event space is open on Thursdays for dinner and is well worth coming to. The staff are awesome and the food is incredible! Truly a hidden treasure! Of all the dishes we have experienced here, their ribs were some of the best we've ever had. Sadly, they are no longer on their menu for some reason which is very disappointing but there are many other delicious dishes to choose from. Our wedding was perfect. I couldn't be happier or more blessed to have my ceremony and reception at The Vineyards in Simi Valley. When my Husband, then Fiance, and I toured the venue, The Vineyards became unforgettable. We knew somehow that this was "the place." We had some really beautiful kind of supernatural things happen during the first few weeks of engagement and at this place we had butterflies follow us around as we toured, then again when we signed our contract, and again on rehearsal day. It was like divine confirmation. We had a very short engagement and basically had 3 months to arrange EVERYTHING for our wedding. People asked us how we did it, and honestly, outside of eating, sleeping, and breathing wedding planning, a lot of credit goes to Soroor and Jimmy and Shadi and the team at The Vineyards. Having an inclusive venue with a trusted vendor package made preparing in limited time so much easier! I truly got to enjoy my wedding day and didn't have to worry about the schedule, decor, or things going to plan because I knew I was in good hands. We called places right away and of the 7, only 2 places picked up, including here. We got a tour the next day and were smitten. Soroor told us she wouldn't accept our money today even if we wanted and to go explore other venues and options first for peace of mind. We were blown away with that. They wanted to make sure we were happy and found the right place for our wedding more than securing a deposit and booking a date and at the same time were confident in their venue and knew if it was right we'd be back, and we did return to book shortly after! From beginning to finish, the team at The Vineyards treats you like family. They're attentive, assuring, ready to help with suggestions, and radiate warmth and kindness. They know you by first name basis, work with you, and sincerely love their work. We picked out our engagement ring from a family owned business in Ventura and we felt good also knowing our venue was family owned and operated and supported people in our own community. You don't get the same feeling from a corporate hotel, golf course, or rental estate. During our wedding and right after, our guests raved about how FUN our wedding was. That meant so much to us! We couldn't be happier and are so glad everyone had a great time. My Dad has a brace and walks with a cane and I wanted a venue with handicap accessibility and it worked out great for him. Even though there are a few steps around the venue, there are alternative paths that are completely flat. They even have a wheelchair on hand if you need it. Here's who we chose: DJ - Juan Del Villar (Deejay Kryptonite) Juan gives your reception so much energy and as a professional DJ knows when to cut certain songs short or seamlessly transition to another track to keep the vibe going. Photographer - Liz and Mia Photography Liz is super thorough and communicates quickly. She kept my confidence at a 10 and paid great attention to details. Her assistant Joe was so kind and we are glad we had a secondary photographer to capture more angles and moments with her. Pros: - Day of coordinator is included and you are the only party that day - You're supporting a family run business and vendors who love what they do. I can't say enough about them. Everyone works together and knows the place inside and out. - The venue is gorgeous and offers 2 ceremony locations (garden or water wall) and ample parking - Water wall area is fully handicap accessible, garden area totally accessible with use of golf cart on site - Venue package option includes DJ, cake, photographer, and flowers if you want all inclusive - The staff is mic'd and can communicate with each other quickly and effectively even when they are across the room from each other. - Competitive pricing and value for what you get. When you do the math and add up the extra costs elsewhere, you quickly see how seamless and cost efficient it is to go all-inclusive. It saves a lot of extra work. - The bridal room and groom room is HUGE and private. Most places don't have a space at all for the groom or it isn't air conditioned/comfortable. The bridal room alone could house a small wedding ceremony. It's magical and perfect for getting ready photos. We came here on a Thursday night. Setting and ambience beautiful. Food ok. Service sucked. The wine flight was weak, 2 out of 3 were filled to proper level, 1 glass was not even half of the normal level, I questioned it to the waiter and said yeah it does look weak but I don't pour them, sorry. A taster is a taster but at least give an honest taster. Service is slow, takes forever to get your food and drinks. Tough time to get your water glass refilled, maybe bring a bottle of water with you. Our table liked their specialty drinks, except the manhattan. The porky panini was pretty good, the curly fries were delicious. The steak and frites were popular at our table. Dirty plates sat on the table for a long time before we had to ask a server to please clear our table. The setting is beautiful outside and it's nice inside. Not only is the venue clean, beautiful, and photogenic from any angle, owners Jimmy and Soroor make every step of the way enjoyable.  They're personable, attentive, and are very down to earth. The whole family is incredible and their kids made our wedding day even more enjoyable by guests as our bartenders. The speedy responsiveness they have to any of your anxiety filled questions made the whole process of wedding planning so much more manageable. I had my wedding there in October 2016. I have been waiting for my photos so I can upload them but I decided to write me review until I pick up my photos. First, the service was incredible. From the moment that I contacted them until the day after my wedding, they were so kind, responsive, and they went above and beyond any of our expectations. They are a warm and welcoming family that make you feel like family. Any questions I had (and as I bride I had many!!) they answered, and found solutions for. As for the place, it is truly beautiful! All of my guests said it was one of the most beautiful weddings they had gone to. I thought they were just being nice, but when I saw the photos, it looked straight out of a fairy tale. I had my wedding ceremony in the garden below! WOW!!!! Its so beautiful, especially when you set it up with all of your flowers. You get married with the sound of the waterfall! I had the cocktail hour outside in the front and side area. It was during sunset so the sky was beautiful, the weather was magnificent and everyone was very happy. We had them put a bar outside for us because we did not want anyone inside during cocktail hour. For reception, we went inside the main room and we also had a lounge area set up outside on the balcony area of the main room. I can keep writing about how perfect everything was. Soroor, was also my wedding coordinator. What a great decision that was!! Because she is the owner she was very familiar with the staff and the grounds so everything went as planned and easy breezy! I dealt with James at the beginning for the contract and what a sweet heart! They are a great couple and wonderful to work with. Went here as a wedding guest and really enjoyed the venue. I even recommended it to my sister in law as a venue for her future nuptials. The ceremony was upstairs, while the cocktail and reception area were held downstairs. The ceremony room was probably my least favorite room. The a/c came on and was really distracting. Also, as a recommendation, I would get at least two microphones so that the audience can hear the minister AND the bride/groom during vow time. I really enjoyed the cocktail and reception area. Very beautiful. Great set up. The appetizers were really good as well. The DJ and Photo booth I believe were both part of the wedding package (venue vendors). The DJ was good, the photo booth had some good props with a nice attendant, and we were able to print as well as get digital copies of our photo. Staff and the wedding coordinator were really professional and super organized! They are a selling point on booking the venue in my opinion. The coordinator was on it. She was running around on her headset all night. Overall, this is a nice location for a wedding. If I were to get married, I'd definitely consider The Vineyards. read more

I was recently a bridesmaid for an outdoor wedding at this venue. As a bridesmaid, I really liked this venue. It was gorgeous, the bathrooms were clean, there were many places to take nice pictures, and it felt calm and serene with all the greenery around. One thing that stood out was how the venue dealt with the intense heat of the Valley. During the ceremony, they gave umbrellas to the guests to shade ourselves, which made a huge difference, and they provided iced water. There were also a lot of areas to hang out, prep for the wedding (in terms of getting dressed and doing hair/makeup), eat/drink, and take pictures. Overall, this venue made for a beautiful wedding and, as a bridesmaid/guest, I'd recommend it. read more

I don't even know where to begin!!! We had the most STUNNING and memorable wedding thanks to this beautiful venue, and most importantly, the staff. After our Tahoe venue didn't work out (in July 2023) my husband and I were scrambling to find a venue that was beautiful and not make us poor lol! We were so fortunate to have stumbled upon this venue and lucked out in securing a May 2024 wedding date. We selected the vendor package (highly worth it, highly recommend) and worked primarily with Shadi, who was an absolute saint through the entire process. She made it so easy to plan in a short timeline, offered flexibility constantly, and was always available to answer my incessant questions. Absolutely nothing went wrong the day of and we truly felt that it was our perfect wedding. It's now 2 months past our wedding, we still can't stop talking about how much we loved it and so many of our family and friends have told us that it's the best wedding they have been to!!! The ceremony and reception spaces were beautifully set up, any guests needing assistance were driven around in golf carts, and they made sure we didn't have a single worry. There isn't enough great things I can say about the staff, especially Shadi. Due to a few situations arising, my fiancé and I had to cancel our wedding here. But this was the first venue we had visit and Shadi's explanation, responsiveness and her passion to help create these beautiful events for couples, families etc. is incredible. Such a genuine family business. So sad I won't be having my wedding here after all or working with Shadi , but they definitely made a lifelong impression. read more

On November 8th, 2015 we had the most magical, perfect wedding that we could possibly imagine. And The Vineyards was a huge part of what made the day so fantastic. I'm not even sure where to start when describing how absolutely phenomenal everything about this venue is. Visually, the grounds are stunning--gorgeous--a personal romantic fairytale come true. As beautiful as the venue is, it can't top the beauty of the people who work tirelessly to make sure people have the wedding of their dreams. I can't imagine our wedding being as special as it was without the staff of The Vineyards. Their care, love, and genuine passion made every step of the process a precious memory. When you're not sad about handing over a large check, you know you've found something good. The most telling thing I can say is this: I was ready to book The Vineyards after spending 45 minutes conversing with Jimmy and his daughter during a Bridal Show--before even seeing the place. I knew immediately that these were the type of people that made a wedding truly phenomenal. Jimmy, Soroor, and Angel worked closely with us, put up with our family's eccentricities, greeted us with enthusiasm and welcome whenever we came to them, and were genuinely wonderful people. I felt like they truly took us under their wing and made us a part of their family. You cannot hope to work with kinder, more dedicated people. This goes for the rest of the staff as well. Everyone involved with The Vineyards was warm, happy, and thoroughly competent at their tasks--though not too serious to not also enjoy themselves during the party. It's really a sense of family, and it goes beyond just The Vineyards staff. The relationship they have with local vendors really shows how close-knit and welcoming they are. Even the vendors were excited to learn they'd be working with the venue for our event! The Vineyards truly does it all. It's really the most romantic, fairytale setting for a wedding, and it was absolutely perfect for what we wanted. Their outdoor ceremony sites are both stunning (although the garden site is truly something special). The reception halls are beautifully decorated spaces that are welcoming and spacious. The lighting is naturally gorgeous & they offer lighting packages to make it even more customized. THE FOOD is amazing, which seems to be a hard thing to find out of a wedding venue. People are STILL talking about the meals we served (beef & goat cheese ravioli!). Their options are limitless (and everything tasted GREAT). They do appetizers, entrees, dessert bars--ice cream and fondue and coffee stations--everything you need to keep a roomful of people happy. The staff worked with us every step of the way. It's a very well-oiled machine, so you don't ever have to worry about anything going wrong. At the first sign of possible trouble, Soroor and her team are on it, sorting things out before anyone even notices. They were extremely hands on not only before our big day but on it as well--everything was fully staffed and the familiar faces we had spent months planning with were there, too. You truly feel well taken care of. They also provide amazing packages that help keep the cost in check and don't leave you wanting for anything. I can't believe how generally unstressed I was throughout the process, and how fondly I can think back on every dealing with Jimmy, Soroor, Angel and company. They helped make our special day absolutely magical. We're busy coming up with ideas for the next event in our lives that justifies a return to The Vineyards as a reception site. What an incredible experience! My sister and I selected this venue for a celebration our church was having for our mom. We were lucky enough to find this location, and it blew everyone away. Almost everyone from church complimented our selection of venue. It's an elegant venue, with plenty of space while still being intimate. What truly made it spectacular, is the customer service. Anything we needed, they provided. When our buffet ran out of food, they made up more super fast (we went over our food budget.) They also added beautiful lighting and little details that elevated the venue even more! It's a family owned/run operation, and they are the kindest folks my sister and I have ever come across. 4.5 Stars What really makes this place great is Soroor and Jimmy. They are really what sold us on the place. My wife and I were having a Persian/American wedding, and Jimmy and Soroor are American and Persian, so we immediately clicked. They are both friendly and helpful as can be and worked with us and our budget. Our wedding day was completely smooth and we had none of the nightmare vendor no-shows or screw-ups that I always hear about. I know the reason for that is mostly do to the organization of Soroor and the relationships she has with her vendors. Having a super mother-on-law helped as well. It has some very unique features and our guests all seemed to love it. As you can see by the pictures, it also made for some gorgeous settings for the photography. The only reason that I am giving The Vineyards 4.5 stars instead of 5 is because of the food. The appetizers were actually quite good, but the main course of steak was pretty have handed on the salt and overcooked. Luckily, I had such a fantastic time and everything else went so well that it really doesn't bother me that much. That being said, if you have the money, bring in your own catering. It just wasn't in the budget for us. Overall though, you aren't going to find a place where the people care as much as Soroor and Jimmy. We went to a lot of places before this, including their sister company Calamingos Ranch in Malibu, and no one even came close to touching the level of service that The Vineyards gave us from beginning to end. read more

There are not enough great things I can say about The Vineyards. First, we love the location itself. It is a beautiful location. Every little bit of that location matched mine and my wife's style perfectly. It was exactly what we wanted. It is a classy and elegant location. Not gaudy at all. It honest to God is a perfect wedding location. Now, with that said, there was something that we didn't expect to happen when dealing with the Vineyards. We didn't expect to to end up loving Soroor, Jim and the staff as much as we did. We did not expect to make friends out of this and that is exactly what we did. Soroor took such amazing care of us. Any time my wife and I would stop by, we never wanted to leave. They made us feel like we were part of the family. They did everything they possibly could to accomodate us and make our wedding day as beautiful as possible. And it was. Our day turned out gorgeous! Everyone had a great time. The lighting was beautiful. The food was great! It really was perfect. You know how everyone says "there is always something that goes wrong and doesn't turn out as planned on your wedding day"? Well that didn't happen with us. Our day turned out better than we could have ever expected. And it is all thanks to Soroor and the staff at the Vineyards. I can't thank them enough for making our wedding day more magical than we ever hoped for. My wife and I could not be happier with choosing The Vineyards as our wedding venue. First and foremost, I wanted to give a huge thank you to Soroor, Jimmy, and Monique for their ongoing support and hospitality throughout the process leading up to our wedding. They were so patient with us, and accomodated all of our requests in ensuring our day was absolutely perfect! Having that said, the Vineyards is everything we wanted in a wedding venue and the ambiance is absolutely stunning. We chose to have the ceremony upstairs near the waterfall and I could not be happier with that location. The waterfall definitely added a subtle and beautiful touch to our ceremony and the asthetics were perfect. The food at the Vineyards is delicious. We went in for our food tasting a couple months before the wedding and were more than impressed with not only the options that they offered, but more so the taste of the dishes that we sampled. We spent hours deciding what to have at our wedding becasue everyting tasted amazing. From the appetizers to the main course(s), I constantly overheard how pleased our guests were with the food that was served. The dessert table was BEAUTIFUL. Once that dessert table came out, I felt like I was having a royal wedding, it was STUNNING!!! Once again, Soroor underpromised and overdelivered...something they do often there at the Vineyards. Speaking of overdelivering, Brittany who was our 'Day of Coordinator' I cannot thank enough! She is freakin' amazing! I honestly think that without Brittany there, I would have lost my mind with all that was going on. Not only did she do an amazing job coordinating our every next step, she also did that with 140 other people ensuring the flow of our wedding was seamless and on schedule. From the guests, to the vendors, to the schedule, to the bride and groom, Brittany managed EVERYTHING that day and did so with poise, confidence and positivity. She even made sure we ate our food!!!! Which in hindsight I really appreciate because I could have went the whole night forgetting to eat. Thank you Vineyards for the amazing memories.
