First time at Vitacost and they have SOOOO much!!! It's impressive! Supplements, food (snack type, cooking oils, baking goods) and even pet items for dogs and cats! I went in looking for one item and left with other items that are not super accessible at non specialty stores. The one item I walked in looking for they did not have and the woman working had no problem going on their site and placing a warehouse order for me to be shipped to the store in a few days. It's a convenient location for me with plenty of parking. I spoke to a supervisor but she told me she is unable to help. She advised I talk to the postmaster in Scottsdale AZ. Seriously? I have referred all my supplements to IHERB . Love this place and always have great customer service most of the time but when I called to inquire about an item, TAMMY, as quick to be dismissive, and hang up. I said hold on, I understand you don't have it in the store, but does your warehouse have it? I've done this before so I know the protocol. I think TAMMY doesn't like her job or her duties. Tone matters! After I gave her the SKU#, she paused and proceeded to say she can get it tomorrow. (Which I know) I think Tammy forgets basic customer service. Tammy, girl, are you good? How it should have went when I called is, "i don't have this in the store but I can pull it from the warehouse and it could be ready for you tomorrow.Is there anything else I can do for you? This store is decent and has a great selection of blood pressure vitamins, but there's an employee here who's very hostile & fake....Her name starts with an 'S', and so does 's*it', which represents her attitude problem...She used to be a nurse, which worries me..for the patients she's 'cared' for. People say that a lot of narcissists become nurses, DEFINITELY. If you have emotional problems leave that stuff at home. People have enough problems without having to deal with your hostility and passive-aggressiveness. I have been ordering from Vitacost for almost 20 years, and have recommended them to so many people. Last week, my order came missing one item and one supplement bottle came with no label whatsoever. Nothing. Just a plastic bottle filled with mystery pills. Over the years, there has rarely been an issue, ever. If there was, I called and talked to a nice, competent person who immediately settled the problem, or went online and an immediate replacement of refund was sent. This time, I tried to call for about an hour, no answer. Annoying, but whatever, Ill go online. Sent my request and never heard anything back. By the next weekend, I still had not heard back, so I called multiple times over the weekend. Got numerous messages saying that they were closed, but to call back between 9-6 on weekends (which IS what time it was). I finally gave up and called on Monday, Waited forever for an answer. Finally someone answers and it sounds like CS has been outsourced overseas. Ok, that is fine. The woman keeps me on hold FOREVER, telling me that her supervisor is checking into this. I ask what they are checking into, just send me the items, please. After about 15minutes, she tells me that she can't get her supervisor. I said "just send me the products, please, there is nothing to check into" she says she cannot. WHAT? Then she tells me to send pictures of the products, and when they get them, they will look into it. I sent the pictures of the bottle with no label. I can't send pics of the items that did not arrive.Then she tells me, "ok, when we get the pictures, we will investigate." I said that I am not hanging up until this is resolved, because I already have been waiting days for a response and I don't have time to sit on hold again, and they never responded to my first email. I say that I will just dispute the charge on my credit card and never order from Vitacost again. Miraculously, the supervisor now is available and able to see the email and says they will release the missing items to me. I am not sure what happened to Vitacost, but sadly it is now trash. Jessica and Nyoka in their customer service department are the absolute worst. Our family has been shopping with them for a dozen years, spending thousands as repeat customers. An order recently arrived damaged and they wouldn't send us replacements, stating that we need to contact UPS. Dealing with Jessica and Nyoka was the most unpleasant experience ever. They used to be a great online company from which to purchase. Over the past couple months (maybe longer) they have crashed and burned. I would recommend NOT ordering from them now. They are not honoring their subscription service, Set & Save. The ship date comes and goes, but NOTHING ships. You try to contact them via chat and all you get is an automated response, but NO Live Chat. You leave a message on their website asking for a response about your order and NO Response is EVER received. I have been a customer for MANY years. Today, I received an email from them saying that the credit card I have on file is not valid. This is a credit card I use every day and is perfectly valid. Vitacost.com's customer service is now in the toilet. I ordered liquid soap from Vitacost back in November and it arrived leaking, damaging the cereal included in the package. To avoid making even more of a mess, I threw them both out. When I contacted customer service for a refund, I was informed that without a picture, a replacement would not be made, let alone a refund or even a store credit. The items were already in the dumpster behind my apartment, I was not going to go finishing through the garbage for the damaged bottle. This picture policy was not listed on the product page or the order confirmation. Furthermore, it is bizarre to have a policy that essentially discriminates against the poor and the elderly, individuals who are unlikely to own camera-enabled phones. I've been shopping at vitacost for yrs online and glad they have a store here. Problem is, they don't have all the items that I normally need stocked in the shelves. So if you find an item online, I suggest you call the store first of it's in stock there before you waste your gas money. For example, a serum I found online wasn't available in store... I called the store before I went there and since it wasn't available there , they contacted their warehouse and it was delivered to the store the next day for me to pick up. Forget whole foods, sprouts, or other health food stores! This is the place to be to get organic, non gmo, paraben, phtalate free products for 30-40%less!! Love the skin and haircare products here. I had previously ordered Clearly Natural Glycerin Soap from another company that took 5 weeks to NOT deliver! Grrr... I have allergies to perfumes. I can't use most soaps. Safeway in my area stopped carrying the product so I looked online. I heard from a co-worker about this Vitacost store so I decided to stop by after work. This store has everything from teas, energy shots, vitamins, pre-work out items, to specialty food products (gluten-free, vegan, paleo, etc.) and skincare products (Obagi brand, etc.). 30 bucks later, I got myself some Lydia's Organic crackers (totally paleo), mango bars, other paleo bars, Obagi facial cleanser, several cans of organic coconut milk, Lutein capsule, ginger supplement, Healthy Greens liquid, and a couple of more skincare item. I found things here that I could not find at Sprouts, Traders Joe, or even Whole Foods. I will try to frequent this store once a week, at least. I really like it. read more

I'm a fan of this Vitacost, because I can get all my protein powders and protein bars all from one place. They make it easy for you to just order online if you don't want to stop by the store. I no longer live in NV so it's great that I can just order my stuff on their website. I've placed many orders with them and never had any problems until yesterday. I received someone else's order by mistake and glad I caught it before the shipping deadline, which is 1pm. I called and talked to a rep who kept me on the line for a very long time, which I did not like, but in the end she took care of the mistake and shipped my package out the same day and it arrived today at 11am. I'll say that even though it was annoying to get the wrong package I'm glad Vitacost made things right and shipped my stuff out the same day. I couldn't find a general Yelp page for Vitacost itself, so, well, here I am writing a review about the Vitacost store in Las Vegas, Nevada -- a town I've never visited. I buy my chelated magnesium from Vitacost through the company website, and have to say that I genuinely love the stuff. (Like most American citizens, I often fail to get enough magnesium through my diet alone.) Great stuff, this -- helps keep my blood sugar in check, and sustains good, solid magnesium levels in my body at all times. It also serves to lower my blood pressure (the monkey on my back, as it were), and to provide me with a sound, restful sleep each night. I love Vitacost in every way. This store is nothing less than a blessing. They can even get the nutrients I nee for my loved one's anti-cancer program, such as Germanium-132. As the few negative reviews mention, they do indeed have an in store stock problem. Despite having one of the largest warehouses of nutrients in the world directly behind the store, for whatever reason, they cannot keep certain SKUs on the shelf. They somehow miss things when doing inventory. Weird, sure. Store is still infinitely awesome! Besides, they can pull anything you want from the website with a days notice. Open 7 days a week, so no big deal. Besides the vitamins, they also have plenty of organic and even raw foods. With all of the raw food & superfood luminaries in Vegas, such as Markus Rothkranz and John Kohler, I hope the raw & superfoods sections grow even larger (hint hint, Vitacost) Check out the Lakanto monk fruit chocolate bars, too. They use the superior arriba nacional cacao, which is a step above the renown criollo beans. Even when an arriba bar is dark, it still has some of those pleasant notes you tend to find only in milk chocolate. Lakanto itself combines the beans with monk fruit as a sweetener instead of sugar, so it's blood sugar safe, too. Really lovely stuff for the right palette. LEGALLY, IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE SELLER. Vitacost is LYING to you, big suprise! You need to call your bank ASAP and tell them the the merchandise was received damaged or spoiled and not usable, or that they sent the wrong thing. Your bank has an entire department dedicated to reversing amounts back to your card/account for damaged/spoiled/incorrect items. Your bank will contact Vitacost and not take any sh** from them. Make sure you document times, dates, lies you were told by vitacost, and all other pertinent information. Please get your money back and don't let Vitatrash scam you and take your money. read more

Vitacost is an excellent company that offers some of the finest natural and organic products at the lowest and most competitive prices... anywhere! I usually put together a large order of supplements, HBA, food and nutritional whey protein powders three times a year, order online on Sunday evening and receive a well packed package on Wednesday morning, delivered right to my door at 11am. The prices I'm saving vs going to Sprouts, Natural Grocers and especially Whole Foods is astonishing. Plus there are products at Vitacost that I cannot anywhere here in the Denver area. I'm a longtime fan of Vitacost. I invested in their stock many years ago before they were bought out by Kroger. I love the items they stock, I love the prices and I love the sales that they offer. When I moved to Las Vegas, I was so excited to come here....overly excited. I might be one of Vitacosts biggest customers in the area so when I walked inside and was able to get the same prices on items as posted online, I was pretty excited. The store is fairly small but for sure packs a big punch. I can't imagine them making much money off of this store but I'm sure glad that they have it. The store is heavy on supplements here but high quality supplements. Both my boyfriend and I are on a supplement regime and we were able to find all of our pills that we needed here for a much lower price. We checked every other online retailer, Vitacost had the best price. We purchased items such as pills, cosmetic products and food from some of my favorite brands. Simple Mills mixes are much cheaper here, protein bars even probiotics. We can't get enough of this store and are very happy that it's open and close to us. read more

Happy Nevada Day! And what a happy day it is when I score big and save lots on healthy items. This was my first time at the vitacost store, how that can be -I really have no idea! This store is easy to find and has plenty of parking. There are also signs to let you know where the warehouse is versus the store. On this particular day I was in the need for some facial cleanser, and some hair leave in product. I found that ...and also scored on some kids Cliff bars, large box (40 tea bags) of decaf green tea, dark chocolate bar, & garlic infused coconut oil..for under $20 ($19 and some change!)!! The clearance section in the back (right hand side) of the store is awesome. The store is small, but laid out well, and it is clean and well lit. The guy that helped me was friendly & knowledgeable. Vitacost stood out amongst all of them for the below reasons. 1) Two day shipping 2)Excellent packaging, I am pretty impressed with the way they ship products that are to be kept cold. their website was developed by people who flunked out of web school. I have been using them for years now, but this has come to an end. I made a big order on vitacost. I got an order confirmation. the items remained in my cart, because their IT people are THE WORST. I told a vitacost customer service rep months ago that they should send all of my stuff via USPS because I live at a confusing address and FEX EX and UPS mess it up and deliver it at the wrong address. So, for my latest order, for over $130, they sent it FED EX. They delivered it god knows where, but not at my house. I talked to two "customer service" people at V and they say they have to investigate and refuse to either give me a refund or replacement. Also, they blamed me because they didn't send it USPS.
