When I first walked in there was 4 employees talking by the register and one of those employees told me a couple minutes till my order was done. They continued talking. The 2 employees that were in the kitchen area cooking were talking the whole time and every employee had no sense of urgency. It's been now over 10 minutes for an online order. This is terrible customer service. All the while another employee at counter told me it will be another couple minutes. The place is clean but doesn't make up for the lack of urgency. Nomnomnom, Protein House foods make me so happy! Go-to orders are any of the bowls and today I got the El Jefe bowl + a side of fruit and fries to snack on. The bowl is heavyyy and packed with food; if you don't have too big an appetite, it could be lunch and dinner (and maybe lunch again!). This bowl has turkey patty pieces, bison, pineapple, broccoli, red peppers, onions and your carb of choosing and you can make any adjustments/subs when ordering online or in person. They advertise macros of the El Jefe bowl of 69g of protein, 65g of carbs (might be dependent on the carb you choose), 21g of fat and ~ 740 calories. I've never had the cajun air fries before but they are tasty + crispy and the fruit is delicious (usually mix of pineapple, melon, cantaloupe). I had the order delivered to me and it was fresh and very warm on arrival. If I ever call to place an order, the girls are so sweet on the phone and quick to get your order placed. I actually love that they have BCAA in a dispenser and it's really inexpensive to grab one on my way home. Convenient location in EOS gym parking lot, menu is fairly large with options to suit several diets whether you're looking to lean out, cut calories/carbs or bulk up. I really appreciate that the nutritional info is easily accessible for all meals here. Meal price is about $15 on average. That being said, layout is weird with two doors. It's unclear where you order versus pay, given that they have a Chipotle-style counter but you don't actually build your order with staff. I got the BBQ Bison Cheesesteak wrap and it was okay - good portion for the price but the low fat cheese they use was awful and plasticky and clumped in the dish, at that point it would have been better without. Side of fruit was fine. For my personal needs, I'm more likely to go to the Salad and Go in the same parking lot - customization options aplenty, more streamlined menu, fast and easy. I really enjoy the protien house on Eastern but the location on Blue Diamond misses the mark. Went in here and asked if they had a drink menu and the girl pointed to a laminated paper menu on the counter, didnt even try to hand it to me, I guess she expected me to pick it up myself. Then when she handed me my smoothie I asked her for a straw and she pointed to the straw bucket that was right next to her within reaching distance. They are kids working for minimum wage so I can't blame them too much.
