I walked into a clean and organized store and found what I was looking for right away. If you want or need an extra PUMP in your day for whatever reason, get you some C4 Ultimate!! This baby packs a punch with 300mg of caffeine, and at almost $5 a pop, it can get pricey! Stock up online whenever they have a good sale. I had half the bottle before my workout and felt the slight jitters after 20ish minutes. Parking is pretty easy here, but be careful turning corners because peeps don't always look around. Prices are average and service was alright. No one greeted me when I walked in (reason I dropped a star), but the guy was friendly ringing me up. Terrible service, no one even came to help me they're just laughing and talking the entire time with the security guard, and then of them are actually quite educated on any other positive, so they're the young guys working there. I ask tons of questions, and they don't even know how to answer that like looking on the phone to get the answer. this place needs to hire more qualified, trained educated individuals on health and supplements.... And I honestly cannot stand how they keep trying to upsell the body tech products it's like walking into a car sales lot. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Basically bought a detoxify cleanse from there and explained on why I was buying it. I was going for the cheaper one but was told to buy the expensive one for better result in which was $48 mind you. I was led on to the fact that if it didn't work i'd be reimbursed into another one "as the bottle states" says the worker and come to find out I come back and show proof as to how it doesn't work and was informed I was flat out lied too. Management should do better on letting their employees know what qualifys for a reimbursement and what doesn't especially when it comes to a big purchase like that. When coming back in, they explained to me that it would be through the brand and not through the store. If you could explain that to ur customer you should've told your employee that while getting hired considering you sell all kinds of drinks. I don't know why they wouldn't have honored it considering I was lied too, misled and pressured into buying a 2x more expensive bottle because of it. This wasn't the bottle I was going to walk out with originally before being lied too. So they did nothing for me. No exchange, no reimbursement, just a lot of poor excuses. read more

After filing a complaint with the corporate office, the local district manager didnt even care to follow up. I was in there a week ago, selected seven items out of those only two scanned the correct price. They would scan each item on another computer saying no this isnt the price. Even with their tag that they placed on the container was showing a different price. Then to top it off they had a really poor attitude when I pointed out the sticker. I will probably go and report them to the county for their blatant pricing discrepancies. read more

I've been coming to this location for a while now but this is the first time I've had a bad experience..... I'm always welcomed in when the guys are working but on this occasion there were just two rude older ladies running the store. Not a hi or a welcome in they proceeded to talk between themselves and when I was ready to check out they kept talking to themselves. It took a minute before I was even acknowledged at the checkouts I forgot the ladies name but on her name tag it said says sales lead the other one had glasses on. I owe Tiffany a HUGE apology. I walked into the store, immediately looked for the most mature person and started asking questions to help me alleviate some of my "Older Woman Symptoms" (A.K.A Menopause). I saw Tiffany. However, she appeared WAY too young to be able to assist me, because she has no reason to know about the dreaded issue, yet. However, the more mature assistant encouraged me to speak with her and boy am I glad that I did. Ladies, you HAVE to speak with Tiffany. She totally gets it. And, why you may ask. Because, as a part of her study in being a nutritionist, she did a lot of research! Within 24 hours of having a consult with Tiffany, I feel AMAZING, based on the recommendations she made. She helped me discover items to control my night-time hunger issues and incorporate a once-a-day meal replacement so that I can start to lose weight. I went to bed last night and I was not hungry!!!! AND, that ain't happened in over 2 years. Now, that may sound ridiculous. But, my brain triggers me to graze and easfrom 9:00P to 1A every evening. And, in the last 2 years, I have gained so much weight I only have 3 outfits I can wear in my closet. I'm twice the size I used to be (sob!!!), which had me go into a serious and uncontrollable depression. I woke up this morning and not only walked and felt better than I have in years. I had not been up in this area to the new shopping center in Menifee so I thought I would check it out. This store is so nice, clean and brand new along with the whole "Western Theme" shopping center. The employees were very helpful in finding the product I was looking for and even said I could return it if I did not like the taste as it's a new plant based protein. I normally go to GNC but this store has just as good a section and they run discounts all the time. The prices on majority for there supplements can be found less expensive elsewhere. The employees have a reasonable amount of product knowledge, however the company doesn't reinvest in their employees through pay and education. Unfortunately this company used to be great but it continues downward through greed. Take your money elsewhere and save a lot more in the process. I have to admit. I was a little bit of a jerk today. I walked in in a bad mood and asked for a return of a product that made me feel off. He told me he could do a debit return and I insisted on cash. He told me he could only do debit. I told him I've gotten cash back several times and started acting like a spoiled brat. Luckily I stopped checked myself and then accepted his return. This was the store manager. He was enforcing the store policy. I didn't need to act rude, and he didn't need to be so cool about it. That's worth 5 stars for me alone but there are other reasons for the 5 star. They have their own kombucha bar! You can come in by a growler and fill it up for $11! That's tight. The selection of vitamins and supplements is impressive. They are keeping on the up and up with all new supplement trends like adaptagens, homeopathy, and bone broth products. A store clerk by the name of 'Robert' was very rude! First, he consistently starred at me in the store with a scowl and looked away when I tried to get eye contact for help. There was no one else in the store! I finallygot his attention and I asked for the location of the protein vegan cookies. He yelled at me in a short tone (from the opposite end of the store saying "we don't sell those! That's all we have!" I complained to the female store manager and she went to the supply room and simply got the item for me. This Robert character is either afraid of & too ignorant to do his job for African American customers or he's afraid of women? Bad service. Very bad. I have written a positive review from my past visits, however, that recently spiraled downward the past year or so ago. From my understanding Vitamin Shoppe warmly price matched any product sold through Amazon. This information was openly disclosed to V.S customers through a large poster on the entrance door of the store. Over time, the banner was taken down, possibly to hide this piece of info, or make space for other banners idk. The cashiers use to and still have an iPad available to be able to price match for customers when they requested it. I didn't always bring my phone and they use to happily check. I don't know what changed, besides employees coming and going, but the cashiers now need the customer to pull it up on their phone. Sometimes they feel like being nice and checking but this hasn't been consistent. I've visited other V.S stores and they all now have differing policies surrounding amazon price matching. Why?! I use to never have a problem but lately with every visit, comes a new random change. I've barely touched the surface but I'm going to get to the point. If you, as a business entity, honor price matching with Amazon, own it OR simply don't. Period. I went in weeks ago and they wanted to charge me Amazon shipping after price matching it lol, who comes up with these rules? I told them "I'm an amazon prime member"-therefore, zero shipping. Then last night I was told they don't price match anything that is a "prime product" on Amazon, um wth, that's like 85% of what they sell. Either honor or don't, this is an all or nothing situation. That is all! I'm seeing more and more people in the service industry despising their jobs and dealing with people, and can partly see why, it all trickles down to the stress due to poor pay, zero benefits, heavy work load, that corporate companies think they can enslave people with. Unhappy staff equals poor service and poor work performance. Once that's understood by a business they have the power to make change on their behalf, or simply not care. Vitamin Shoppe simply chooses not to care and that explains such inconsistencies in their policies, poor management style, and poor service. Hope your company can handle my criticism. read more

Found this store since I just moved to Lake Elsinore. I was pleased with store hours as the one in Chino hills closed at 7pm. I walked in the associate ( Steven) was to busy watching his tablet to acknowledge me. He was the only person on the sales floor. I started looking for my boxes of protein bars and started placing them by the register. At no point was I asked if I needed help I sadly had to interrupt his tablet personal time to ask about a protein spread. I asked how did it compare to Justin's Organic almond butter they where both $13. He said I don't know this isn't organic for sure and I don't have $13 to buy it so I would be able to tell you. Wow what kinda answer is that? I finally just told him to ring me up and apply the $20 coupon he had to call his manager from the back. Another employee with zero personality no hello nothing. All he said was do you have the code for the discount. I spent well over $100 I was treated like I didn't belong. Fast forward I went to the main street store in Orange wow the girl went through flavors of the spreads yes they are great I bought 2 more and protein drinks. She even asked to convert my points into a discount. I was amazed at how great she was. This just tells you it's all about people who care about their job and are in the right place. read more
