They are one of the few places that I've found that carries my favorite flavor of all time, Superman...and that alone will keep me coming back. The prices are decent, but its cash only so make sure you hit up the ATM beforehand. The owner is nice and there is a good amount of seating inside and outside. There is a selection of toys and board games, which is great for the kids of both the little and adult variety. There is an atm next door but if you happen to not be a Bank of America customer it will cost you $3 plus your bank fee to get ice cream. So my $9.75 ice cream cost me $14.75. This place was the best icecream spot around! I visit Flagler Beach every year so I grew up eating icecream from The Waffle Cone every summer along the beach. Recently, the business was bought by some locals who loved the place. The building is more minimalistic and simplified but with the same charm as the original. The service is still great as well. Although the icecream was still good during my last visit, It didn't quite match the icecream before. The icecream is still great, but I found it to be a bit more average than my previous experiences before (this may just be me). So why the 3 star review? The waffle cones are not being made at The Waffle Cone anymore! I saw the cones being taken out of long opaque plastic sleeves like the ones at the grocery store. For a place called The Waffle Cone, why is the business buying premade waffle cones? It disappointed me greatly to see the business drop its practice of making fresh waffle cones (which were the best part of The Waffle Cone's icecream) and stoop below previous standards for the sake of efficiency and cutting costs. The icecream and cones are just slightly above average now, but I'm very disappointed that new management has cut some corners with the waffle cones. read more

The place is really cute but of course it's always busy and Flagler County especially when the quarantine has been left and people allowed out in public. Only thing I don't like is there is no take out option window that I saw and that there was only one person scooping ice cream at the time and there was a line going out the door yes people came out to scoop ice cream but it took them a while but onto the flavor delicious the cones are really good they use a very good quality chocolate on the chocolate dipped cones. Price is reasonable they do give you quite a bit ice cream which I'm impressed with because other places around here really don't and they have a little small dog Dish and I'll be super cute if they put a little dog biscuit on top yes I'll be back because there's like a lot of ice cream flavors I have to try read more

Stopped in here with my two small kids after a day on the beach. I noticed the fun decor and good music playing! There were a lot of ice cream choices and everyone enjoyed something different. I have been to this ice cream shop 4 times in the last year and 1/2. The first time I went I was really impressed with the ice cream and had a large cone. When I was finished I went to the bathroom and immediately discovered there was no toilet paper. The man serving asked me to wait a moment and then gave me a roll. The second time I went there was no soap and that time I decided to just let it go. The third time I went there was no soap with a sign displaying the words "Employees must wash hands before returning to work". OK usually when I see this sign there is soap. I went to the lady behind the counter and she gave me some soap from the kitchen area. This time she told me that they don't fill the soap dispenser because the kids take it down and pour all the soap out. The dispenser is a poor excuse for a dispenser and because these ppl accept only cash and make a bundle and don't pay taxes on their fair share I feel they are more than able to get a decent soap dispenser, I didn't get upset because I know they are busy. I went again today and again, although when I entered the bathroom and saw the soap container 1/2 full, I relieved myself and when I pushed the soap dispenser there was water and not a lick of soap, well, needless to say I was pissed this time and went out and told them. I was not terribly polite, not nasty though and I was told to, by the owner, to keep my temper in check. I told him this was the third time there was no soap to wash my hands and I was pissed and does that mean that when I get my cone it is served from dirty hands. Ugh is all I can say and I won't go back there again. I talked them up to my friends and now they're afraid to go there. I'm thinking of calling the health dept on them. read more

Wow This may have been the best ice cream ever. We stopped at the first Friday of the month festival and I saw a group eating huge cones. They told me how good it was and pointed me in the direction. The line was long, but moved quick They flavors all looked amazing, my wife went with Salted Caramel and Peanut Butter fudge I went with Salted Caramel and Super Butterscotch. I ordered the chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream and it tasted like Greek yogurt. Along with that, the cookie dough chunks were sparse and the flavor was extremely bland. The lady who worked there kicked out us and our party and forced us to buy something even though we weren't all hungry and only came to check out the joint. On top of that, the place was cash only... so make sure that you bring some extra bills if you are interested in going here. The BEST ice cream that I have had in Florida. You can tell it is homemade and uses real ingredients. We had the dulce de leech and salted caramel. Can't even begin to say which one was best.
