Melody, the owner will make you feel welcome, and will tell you about the people who made the items that you purchase. There's also a small shop behind hers that sells fair trade items for children and an art store. Do yourself a favor, and check this place out. The prices are good, and the Atmosphere is incredible. Well, I walked in, knowing I would spend some money. They had loose geodes in some crates. I chose one, purchased it, and then cracked it open with their machine. Not that I have a bucket list, but if I did have one, I would scratch this item off. Thanks to the people at Spirit Of The Earth, I now have a geode. They say there are 75-90 vendors in there. To me, it is just a big store with a very wide variety of merchandise. From the outside, it looked a little dated. But once you step inside, it is awesome. I bought a dress, two pair of pants and a sweater here. There was a guy who was assisting me and I don't remember his name. He was helpful without being pushy and that is always appreciated by me. The quality of the clothes is pretty good. The prices are mostly pretty fair. I did notice a run in the pants I bought after I got home of course. They would gladly return or exchange them but I live too far away. I will get them altered near home. I just wish The Franklin Shops had a location near where I live. They have some fun and unique merch. The environment is pretty groovy too.

But what really got me was her man employee that had to get the thing out of the store. It's like someone just ran over his cat and then backed back over it again in front of him. He was grouchy and uncomfortable to work with as I had to help him get it taken apart and then out the door. Not a thank you for helping him or nothing. So not only did I pay full price, I didn't get the whole hutch AND I had to do manual labor, but the worst thing of all was his demeanor. Put a freaking smile on your face dude. Or get out of the customer service business, you belong at the DMV honestly.
