No other employees to be seen. Cashier sees me multiple times and just ignores me. I go up to the cashier and ask for help with a pick up order. She asks if mine is the ballon's. I say no. I ask can you call for assistance? She says no! She says there is an employee over on the other side as she is looking to the room across the store. I don't see anyone! I again said there is no one you can call? She says no. Just wow!!! Finally I walk around and find a worker who was able to get my order. No one knew that anyone had requested a curbside pickup order or that anyone was even waiting for a pick up! Horrible service! Everyone is forced to use self check out also. After asking a very friendly employee where the pots were located, I found them and discovered that all of their pots are for decorative, artificial plants. Bummer. But my visit to Hobby Lobby paid off when I saw two cute puzzles (40% off!), which I will give as family gifts for our grandkids.

The employee ignored her and made a shushing motion with his fingers, and countinued to walk behind the pharmacy. She reported this to Customer Service Manager James, to which when she tried pointing the employee out from 500ft away, he cut her off citing "IT IS AGAINST STORE POLICY TO CONFRONT EMPLOYEES".... So anyway he tries to shut her up by saying "Uh we will check the cameras and get this figured out" I call Target to ask if anything happened (not asking for details) and was told he has to wait for an "AP" to check the cameras (guess security isn't on site?) I say that's fine, please call me back to confirm when the employee has been identified so atleast I know someone was talked too. He states we cannot provide personal information over the phone - and I respond by explaining | don't even want a name, or anything at all. I simply want to know that somebody was seen on the cameras, and action has been taken. I dont need any personal employee information. He cuts me off citing "we cannot debate over the phone" and hangs up on me in the middle of me asking "Should I call corporate?" In the end, my girlfriend was ignored by an employee, and it is more than obvious management does not care in the slightest. I will be filing a report with Corporate shortly.

And they do have one really negative thing tainting their reputation among decent folk, but I'll leave that nightmare for last. First, not all Barnes & Nobles have nice chairs in which you can sit. Most seem to rely too much on the really uncomfortable cafe seating items and fixtures. I spend a lot of time in bookstores, and a place to sit for a few moments that is actually comfortable is a real benefit. Second, all experiences with the staff here have been positive. They seem, from what I've experienced, like pleasant and smart people. I like this place a lot, but here are some suggestions for improvements: 1. It seems like they could fit more books in this place without making it feel cramped. Or add some more lovely chairs. There are areas that seem rather empty or underused. 2. If they did put in a set of bookshelves in the "Poetry, Drama, Literary Criticism" section, they would actually have room for books on literary criticism, of which there seem to be none at the moment. Poetry? Yes. Drama? Yes. Literary criticism? Not really. 3. This nightmare aspect is not unique to this store. It seems that all the Barnes & Noble pay points in the cafes put up a "tip" screen when you go to pay that deliberately makes it almost impossible to push the "no tip" option. This is called a "dark pattern" and is on the point of being illegal in the EU and other decent parts of the world. It should be illegal here, too, and whatever third-rate MBA at Barnes & Noble convinced their superiors this was a good idea should be sent back to the asylum from which they escaped. Scientists call this type of dark pattern "a coercive tipping interface, in which accepting a tip requires one tap, while declining requires a five-second hard press." It's aggressive, tacky and should be condemned by all moral persons. Elsewhere on Yelp I have complained that in no civilized society does anyone ever ASK for a tip; using a machine proxy to do so does not change that fact. And using an aggressive machine proxy just makes good people angry. It's a bad idea all around.

I like that this Home Goods is nice and big, my main issue is the parking situation with Costco around the corner and a TJ Maxx next door. The store manger Michelle didn't even hear what I had to say, or even took the time to look at the receipt. She immediately approached me at an aggressive manner. Even my friend who heard the whole conversation was thrown off on why she spoke to me in that way. She was very dismissive and when I asked for her name so I can contact support team on her demeanor, she refused to write her name and walked away. This was all done in front of my child. She was extremely rude and disrespectful. I've been shopping at that store for a long time and that was the first time I ever met that store manager or had that poor of an experience. This is something that definitely needs to be addressed.

It's a little corner store in downtown Ft Myers that is really cool to see. Inside the store, the items I saw were all done by local artists. They had these cool looking lamps. It looked like an old-fashioned light bulb from Edison's time. It was neat. I also saw many other cool things here. Like a purse shaped like a tea pot. They also had what it looked like to be an octopus in jars. You like steampunk. You are going to enjoy your time here because I did. We really liked all the pieces a lot of it all was steampunk art. Music was playing which was cool the type they had playing out the speakers. This shop everyone should go check out.
