I didn't realize today was the grand opening. I saw cars and pulled in. I met the owner and/or manager named Dave. He Let me know they were doing a drawing so I got a cute notepad that I can sit at my desk. Line is a little long but it's only because it just opened. Excited to come back and will do a follow up! I recently purchased my second jeep within 11 months so I'm always in the market for a car wash capable of cleaning even the most morally loose. The wash house will not disappoint, if you have time to commit to the experience. Modestly priced (see picture for breakdown) and since the price difference is so low you mine as well go with the works. This wash definitely brings the rain, if you will. If I actually took my jeep off-road like it was meant to, this would be the place to bring it for a squeaky clean result. Downside is it's slow. I was there a solid 20 minutes and only behind 1 car (that was established in wash zone prior to my arrival) so clearly they're no rook and went with big daddy wash as well. After a long phone conversation my frustration was building and as I backed out try stall #2 he finally finished. Finally my turn! Nice big roomy wash room, which is good for bigger vehicles. I'd have no issue bringing a full sized truck to indulge their powerful jets and and soft bristles. The soap dispenser comes from 2 different locales and the front end was spitting water while the back end was nice and lathered up. Felt jipped especially since bugs tend to hit the front of my vehicle not the roof or back door. After some scrubbing I noticed the reason for the lengthy time. This machine has only 1 rotating scrubber to service your entire vehicle. So you have to wait for this thing to do 1 or 2 full laps (I lost count Bc it was so slow who knows how many times it went around) and its in no hurry which is good for cleaning. Personally I prefer the ménage of scrubbers....I can handle 2 at a time in this situation. Finally after all the rain-ex and whatever colored water gimmick crap they threw on the white whale, I was finally ready to exit...after a quick dry. It was quick and terrible. Definitely the weakest part of the experience....almost pointless. Pros: Bristles and jets provide great clean Clean facility Descent price Cons: SLOW!!!! This is my absolute favorite car wash in Altus!!! Don't waste your money anywhere else!!! They take all 4 major credit cards!! They also wash DUALLY'S!!! Guys!!! That's a huge deal!! I love how clean my car gets every time!!!! read more

I bought the most expensive car wash for $12. I had recently traveled and had a lot of bugs on my vehicle. After the wash, I noticed a ton of bug splatters still left on my vehicle. I feel like it was a waste of $12, seeing how the only reason I came was to get the bugs off my car. Very disappointed. read more

Automation and simplicity for the same price. The other Altus America washes circa 1970 technology cant compete. Ive tried them all and The Wash House is hands down the best. Don't be discouraged if it takes a little longer, your just used to getting ripped off at all the other places in town. At the Wash House you're actually getting your money's worth....hope it lasts. I've timed it so weeee shallll seeeee. The money machine is very simple to use and you can actually read the instructions even when the sun is shining. Pros: everything is more than a step above the Altus normal. Cons: None really No stupid pad to pull onto when you pull in. You just inch forward until the sign says stop. It also shows you the progress\stage you are in on a sign to the right pretty cool, well if you can read it through the water and suds on your windshield. They don't have manual washing available but this town is full of that crap so not a big deal. They do have vacuum cleaners... I like the one brush, articulating arm, robot they use. The stall seems very spacious when your inside of it. To sum the place up I would use one word ....SEXY! read more

It actually one of the best automatic car washes ive ever been in (and no im not from altus) i always get the most expensive but it usually cleans pretty good. It takes a while so be prepared to be there for like 10 mins plus if anyones in front of you but it cleans good. drying kinda sucks even though with the more expensive one it does it twice i alway have water all over my windows. but the clean is good read more
