Let me start my review by saying how nice, kind and helpful all the employees are at Water Plant. Leslie, who is the owner of this shop, and also the one in Sherman Oaks is the sweetest! Always willing to help. Place is a standard size with all the water machines working perfectly. Clean, and has a 24/7 kiosk machine right outside of the main entrance for your convenience. Also, a refill station. They sell from one gallon to up to five gallons of water. Clear bottles and filtered. Also, sell water coolers & honestly their water is VERY delicious! We always get our bottles filled from Water Plant. Healthy for you and the environment!! Not expensive and you get what you pay for. They have at least 5 or more different types of water: all types of Purified water, Alkaline, Ionized water, Distilled water and more... They will also deliver to your home/office, and to your car. Established in 2015 and still going strong! Great job everyone at Water Plant. Keep up those waters coming and consistency is the key!! Parking is shared with other businesses. Im so glad i found this place on Yelp. Emanuel was so helpful with letting me know about all the water they provide. He even helped me with getting the bottles in my car. I've been paying for water delivery through Sparklettes for their Mountain valley water for more than 5 years. The price seems to keep going up. The water plant is a gem! They've saved me so much money from switching to getting my bottles refilled. I will never look back. The place is very clean. They have all the water supplies you will need. If you want the best drinking water you can find, these guys have all your options covered. I wanted glass 5 gallon bottles of alkaline water and they had them. I am a water snob, it's hard for me to find water that tastes right. I've always wanted to like spring water for the benefits and helpful minerals it has, but I never liked it... that's until now! The water plant has by far the best and most superior tasting spring water I have ever tried. I was blown away! They will have a longterm customer out of me. The counter person was informative & helpful. I'd been buying my water at another place that's closed on Fridays, which is when I find I need to re-up. Went to the Water Plant & they have about 4-5 different kinds of water, & dude took time to explain them all & recommend one, which I got - the Spring water, which - it's like drinking liquid silk. I had no idea water could taste so good, but this does & I'm drinking much more of it now. They even do a subscription so you can just check in on their system, fill up, & go. I have always loved this place. My stepfather has had an account here for many years, and both myself and my brother have frequented whenever we are in Studio City. Unlike other water bars- it always felt warm and welcoming - like those who run it truly do care about its patrons' health and well-being. Walked in there today (while headlines are on fire with the uptick of Omnicron and continued spread of the corona virus once again overflowing hospitals etc). It's cold and rainy outside, and you're walking into a store where the faucets are "open" (not behind any plexi etc); you're pouring water from exposed faucets (as they've always been)... into your water container about a 2 foot drop from the faucets. The various corona viruses have proven easily transmissible... but the store's set up has always been like this, and I assumed if everyone in the store was at least respecting basic protocols of social distancing and wearing the required masks ... and the protocols the Owner graciously posted a year and a half ago were in place (and indeed everything was thoroughly wiped down between patrons)... it would feel reasonably safe. The manager who greets us is standing behind the counter by the front door... without a mask. The gal next to him has a mask, but it's pulled down beneath her chin ... because she's chatting it up with a customer using the water bar... who is ALSO not wearing a mask. So I ask, aren't you required as a beverage business with open faucets to be wearing masks? And the manager thinks about that a moment and then says, well, not if you're vaccinated. I hold up my phone showing my Healthvana POV card. I keep my mask on and ask: Is there proof of vaccination for the folk in the store not wearing masks? The customer abruptly leaves - and the manager shrugs. The gal next to him looks awkward and just stares. Apparently we're just supposed to take that they're vaccinated on faith, even though it does appear they're not taking Coronavirus all that seriously. The protocols that the owner stated were not followed, nothing is wiped down before I use either the cleaning station nor the water bar after the last gentleman without a mask has used the bar and departed. Just as I'm heading to clean my container, another gentleman walks in to the store, and walks right up behind me to clean his container. The manager doesn't bother to ask for HIS proof of vaccination. So here's a fourth person in the store not wearing a mask, with no proof of vaccination. As I said - really liked this store up until today. But they're clearly not taking Covid seriously - at least these 2 employees weren't - and the laxness and disrespect for customers who DO care about not catching any part of Covid (or just a common cold, in this horrible weather) was jarring, given the last 2 years and the current uptick. Note the gracious response from the owner posted a year ago and half ago to concerns; she mentions the use of bleach and barbicide; neither were used in between any of the customers using the water bar; nor on the counters. In fact when I looked around on the counter to try to clean the faucet myself, there was nothing out out for cleaning it. And the manager not once between the 3 customers there at the time I was present wiped down ANYthing... let alone the water bar. Customers were walking in and out of the rainy cold weather with no masks and not required to show any proof of vaccination (nor using any hand sanitizer) - having just opened the public door, holding their containers that may or may not be clean or sanitized - simply walking up to the faucets and using them. And then - they're not wiped down before the next customer touches them. There is mention from a year and half ago of a "UV Light Rinse Station". When I ask the manager where the rinse station with UV lights is, he didn't respond. The manager seemed confused by the question. After returning home, emptied the water and cleaned my container just given the situation. Called and spoke to a female, left word for the owner. 3 days later, still have not received a callback. Hopefully at least they are safe and well. Thank you. The Ownership sadly has on several reviews chosen to respond to valid and honest feedback with personal attacks that are both inaccurate and do not address the shortcomings of their business and their employees. In trying to address, several lies were stated on a recent follow up communication - one in particular that "Employees Wear Masks". Thankfully, other custom-water businesses are following state-mandated guidelines; and are doing so without resentment and negativity. Thank you. read more

This was my first time visiting this water store and was pleased to find out all the different types of water options they provide. The lady was very helpful with allowing me to sign up for their drinking water club and very helpful with the information on each different type of waters they offer. Friendly workers, clean store, quality water. I never felt pressured into anything and I am very satisfied with the water I get here. I must have talked to 3 different employees before signing up for a 50 gallon membership and they were all friendly and laid back. Believe it or not, the Water Plant doubles as a UPS pickup spot! Since I'm away at the office, I can't sign for my packages so having missed two delivery attempts last week, UPS brought my box here, which was signed for. I checked my tracking to see it Was here, called to confirm it's a UPS location, and quickly received my box the next day after showing ID. Just be prepared to wiggle in the parking lot. It's a strip mall with a small, narrow lot which is often busy on the weekends on a busier intersection. Yet, still convenient. read more

This place is supposed to be open and there's no one in the store. When a business doesn't open on time, not only does it lose money but also potential customers. I've been coming here for two years and each time I fill ..I rinse my jugs , fill them up pay and I'm out ... never have had an issue! Not sure what the negative reviews are for ...... I think this place is great ! It's always clean, the water is fresh, and I'm paying way less then the grocery store for good quality water OH and wasting less plastic!! In my opinion there isn't another water store that's as knowledgeable, helpful and proficient in the science of water as The Water Plant. I am so picky with my water, as well ALL should be and I have tasted chlorine and just plain tap water with "water stores" that claim they have the best. Let me say that you won't find that HERE nor will you find better spring water ANYWHERE, it has the minerals still in the water and has made a huge difference in my life. My skin is glowing, nails are healthy mental focus is superb. They have a variety of water ALKALINE, OXYGENATED, RO and KANGDEN as well. The OXYGENATED is amazing if you are going to work out. But obvi I'm in love with the spring. Get some and let me know what you think. They also have brew haulers created by the owner that you can strap around your glass jug for easy carrying for those of us who have glass jugs you know how heavy they are- but being way nicer than plastic for all the obvious reasons,....these tools Leslie has available are so worth it. I don't usually go to water stores, but we had a scare with my toddler's blood lead level (a recheck of venous blood showed the initial result was wrong, thank G-d). The guy behind the counter was nice, the water was fine. I didn't realize the store would smell like the bottom of a fish tank tho. Honestly, it kind of put me off drinking the water when we got home. But maybe that's just what these places smell like due to the filters. read more
