You can't help but notice the area when you walk by here. I think the allure is the way the outdoor seating is set up. It looks and feels so whimsical with the water from the nearby river flowing, and the trees providing that wonderful shade as the wind blows. This is a perfect place to come to and relax either by yourself or with friends. The coffee here is so good! I had the rose latte and it was one of the best coffee's I've enjoyed in a long time. I also went ahead and bought a pound of their decaf locally roasted coffee for my mom. It's water processed instead of using chemicals to remove the caffeine. She loved it. The shop inside is so beautifully curated you feel as if you're in a museum. If you've ever been to an Anthropologie store, it gives off similar vibes. They offer some local artist goods, a lot of it coming from women owned businesses. Many of these beautiful items come with a hefty price tag though. Best matcha and coffee in Pioneer Valley! I love coming in here, all the staff are lovely, beautiful people. The goods, I just want to buy everything, such wonderful, high quality things. Everything I have ever purchased has been worth the price. Great place to buy classy presents for friends or family. I had been going to the Water's Fine since I moved to Easthampton in 2022. My girlfriend and I used to stop in there frequently to get coffee and spend time browsing all of the cool and eclectic items. It's a really well curated store; we loved the candles, and it was our go-to spot for birthday and holiday gifts for friends and family. We also loved the coffee! The vibe in there was always really calm and pleasant. One day in the spring we were out downtown and had gotten some ice cream at Mt. Tom's. It was a nice day, so we thought we'd go sit at the outdoor space next to the Water's Fine with tables and chairs. We approached the tables and noticed the owner was outside the store. We smiled and said hi, as we'd seen her and had interactions with her countless times at this point. She saw we were about to sit down and scowled at us and just said, "No," and shook her head. Confused, we asked her to repeat herself or say more, and then she said, "This is private property and for paying customers only. You can't sit here." The way she said it was hostile and patronizing. It felt like we were children being scolded. We were pretty confused, as we had just gotten coffee at the place the day before... she had been the one to even take our orders and ring us up at the counter. Not to mention we were frequent customers. We haven't been back since, as the vibe we got that day was totally rancid and uncomfortable. The owner clearly has a serious attitude and no ability to operate with emotional intelligence and kindness towards her customers. We were disappointed since we'd previously loved the place, and it was one of the stores around here that my girlfriend really loved when she moved here. This was particularly valuable to us because she was used to a big city and there were some adjustment pains for her moving to a smaller, quieter area. Needless to say, we certainly won't be returning to the Water's Fine, which is a bummer. If you go, stay out of the owner's way as she is very quick to snap, and has no regard for customer service or basic human communication skills. read more

My new favourite addiction. I stopped for a latte last weekend on both Saturday and Sunday! Their scones are incredible and oat cakes look just as tasty. Lovely selection of gift, kitchen items, notebooks, and body care items. I picked up a lovely eco tote for my Mom as well a the cane slip covered glass featured in below picture to present her with an autumnal arrangement during bunch out. As soon as they open up on Wednesday, I need some more of the caned slipcovered glasses for more floral gifts and a lovely book of John Derian gift wrap papers. Staff are friendly and accommodating. The owner has an incredible eye...her space is light and relaxing. Gift selection. Is beautiful and clean with plenty of options from .50 to $90 for a gorgeous print. Do not know where the previous reviewer went but it could not possibly be the same place. Coffees are satisfactorily sized and it is clearly posted that the inside cafe is closed because of COVID. I would gladly sit outside and view the pond amongst the gorgeous raised boxes of fall blooms any day. This shop is a jewel as you enter the cultural arts district of cottage street in Easthampton. If you have not had the opportunity, find one for yourself...you will not regret it. read more

Very tranquil space with lovely merchandise from crafts people both local and abroad. There is both seating inside as wello as outside that has a lovely view of the pond. I havent had the coffee yet so leaving a star off until I do and can properly offer an opinion- bit it does smell wonderful! Upon walking in, we noticed a stark and uptight vibe - no music nor ambience, and tightly pursed lips on the faces of the employees. We were not greeted and recognized this immediately since we had been walking into all of the shops up to this corner store, and had been welcomed by all of the businesses EXCEPT THIS ONE! We ordered a medium tea and a small mocha totaling almost $10 with the tip we included (but shouldn't have). While we awaited our beverages, we inquired about the availability of restrooms, since we could see that they had one. However, we were told that they were now closed. We wandered around the shop and looked at the RIDICULOUSLY overpriced goods that were not coffee related and received our Lilliputian-sized drinks. We took notice that as small as they were, they were only HALF FULL! While I sipped mine, my sister was RUDELY told not to consume her beverage while in the coffee shop. Are you kidding? This was demanded of her while I stood by drinking my tea, but no one told me not to consume my beverage in house! I mean, should people not taste their beverage to see if it needs sweetener or extra cream? I guess they wanted us to go outside to sit (in the rain) at the rickety Ocean State Job Lot cafe table on the muddy bank overlooking the polluted river. The cherry on top was that my sisters drink was absolute SLUDGY SEWAGE; she had to throw it away after 2 sips! Obviously in this establishment, the customer is definitely not worthwhile. The operator of this shop must think she is a queen but should take off her crown to operate a decent, service-oriented business. What a pathetic excuse for a relaxing java joint...POST SCRIPT: it is the next day, and my stomach was a mess last night. I was up until 4AM and know the guilty culprit was my chai tea because it was all I had before evening and bed. It was loaded with what I believe to be PEPPER because that can be a component of chai and while drinking my tea, my throat was burning so badly that I thought I was having some weird allergic reaction! read more
