What can I say? Food is always excellent. Service was good, a bit slow this time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is warm, and inviting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I keep coming back. It's worth the time waiting. No microwaves, everything is fresh.

My husband and I stopped here during vacation after seeing it on our drive. We were excited to try it, but the experience was a letdown. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were seated in the sunroom (pretty, but filled with flies), and service was slow--even though the place wasn't very busy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our hostess was also our server. I had a hard time choosing a crepe and got no help or suggestions. Worse, my husband has a severe banana allergy--we clearly said this, yet the order slip said "extra banana"! Thankfully, we caught it and mentioned it to a woman who seemed to be the manager (no name tag or intro). The crepes came out cold, rubbery, and overly stuffed. My husband's was wrong and inedible. My hibiscus tea wasn't fresh. We spent $32 and barely touched our food. No apology or offer to fix the situation. Disappointing and not worth the stop. #CrepesTeaHouse #DisappointingExperience #FoodAllergyAwareness #AllergySafetyMatter

Crepes Tea House is definitely a unique spot. Open early morning through late night, serving a variety of breakfast dishes, sweet treats, high quality teas, and even Eastern European specialities. The crepe could've used more chocolate, but all of the fresh fruit in both the crepe and fondue was good. We liked the choices of dips for the fondue and went with the condensed milk for a change. The only odd part of our experience was our server. My mom asked for milk with her tea, and when she received it, she realized after he had already walked away that it was froth, and she just wanted regular milk. He disappeared for a while, and when we were finally able to get him again, she specified that she wanted regular milk, when he seemed to find odd but said he would get it. We again waited for a long time, and my mom decided to try and deal with the frothed, but it wasn't stirring into the milk right and was settling on top. When we came back to check in eventually, my mom said nicely that he hadn't brought the milk, to which he literally booked it and ran away. Before we knew it, a new guy came over to our table and said he would be our server now and brought the milk she wanted. It was so odd and we didn't understand what happened. I think they have a great concept here and are a cool option in the area, but certain elements of the experience definitely could've been better.

Always a lovely time at either of the Crepes Tea Houses. This one in Southwick is bigger and has much more parking than the one in West Springfield but there's no difference in quality of service. Both are excellent. Love coming here and trying all the teas and interesting offerings they have. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Lovely atmosphere at each, can't wait for our next visit[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We randomly visited this place on May 6 after a trip to Calabrese Farms (on the same road). Cute on the outside & inside, appreciate the vibe. The menu's a little overwhelming, but our server answered questions so we could narrow down. We got one savory item and one sweet item. The savory item was the Khachapuri, which was delicious. I would love it with some pickled red onions, or a drizzle of spicy honey to offset the other flavors, but I'd still order it again w/o those things. For our sweet item, we got one of the crêpes, filled with bananas, strawberries, and Nutella. It was delicious but larger than we expected. 4/5 because our side of bacon looked gross & didn't taste quite right. Otherwise, I'll go back & try more of their offerings.

The food was delicious! I ordered the beet, zucchini and potato pancakes, the country potatoes and a sweet crepe with warm honey, peanut butter, bananas and raspberries. I literally drooled over the sweet crepe, it was so yummy and gluten free! The service was fine, wait wasn't long and the inside looked really cute with lots of tea references. I will definitely go back the next time I am craving a crepe and check out the tea selection. (My only complaint is to please wipe down the menus.)

I honestly just had the most delicious crepe of my life at this place yesterday. I decided to add strawberries, raspberries, and peaches to my crepe. That was the best decision I ever made. How? How is all of the fruit fresh inside of it? How does it taste like you picked it right off the plant/tree? The country potatoes were also delicious. The dill dip it comes with was absolutely mouthwatering. You best believe I will absolutely be coming here again! The most delicious breakfast around!

Wood was very savory and the portions are large. The tea is delicious Service was prompt even with the weekend crowd.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the fact that most everyone was appropriately dressed for a tea time experience. The big highlights for me were desserts and scone. The scones were warm and not at all dry. My only critique was that the chicken salad sandwich had far too much bread, could barely taste any of the filling. Desserts for the day were a Salted caramel bon bon, Strawberry frosted Donut macaron, and Lemon cheesecake petit four. Everything tasted excellent (except the lacking chicken salad sandwich) and was well prepared. I thought the experience was well worth the money, definitely recommend. We came to celebrate my birthday, so they lit a candle for us which was cute and appreciated! The menu is posted online in advance, so you know what you're getting. I enjoy eating many different things in small bite-sized portions and I thought all of the food tasted good. The portion is a full meal, albeit it's mostly carbs and sugar. That would be my one critique--it's a bit too sweet and there weren't enough savories. Price-wise, it was $50 per person. I really like that the price is inclusive of taxes, service, and tips. The photos show food at $100 for two people. It was filling, but a very sugary filling. The decor is cute, but some details could have been better. For example, the tea cake tower is black and modern-looking and honestly, not cute or matching. Some light piano music softly playing in the background would have been nice. The customer service is fine. We did street parking and while we came at a rather odd time, we still got a bit of traffic due to construction. Overall, I really enjoyed tea time at Sweet Marie's and would consider coming here again for a special occasion!

For appetizers, the Tea Cheese Toasts were very yummy, but the Okonomi Tater Tots absolutely stole the show. Tater tots with okonomi sauce, Kewpie mayo, furikake, and scallions shouldn't be allowed to be this good. Our sandwiches -- the Croque Monsieur and the Teagan -- were delightful and well executed. The menu offered several types of teas- white, green, herbal, black with several different flavors within each type of tea. I chose a tropical white tea. I'm not drinking alcohol because I'm nursing my child, but the alcoholic drinks looked delicious. Since they had teas and nonalcoholic beverages - even asterisked to show which ones had caffeine - I was happy to order something, and I opted for their hot chocolate, the "Third Eye." I saw ingredients like cinnamon, cardamom, and coconut, and I was sold. Were there ingredients I didn't recognize? Yes. Did it say "medicinal hot chocolate"? Yes. Did I think anything of it? No. To me, ALL hot chocolates are medicinal. We all had our drinks and moved on to the next location. As we were walking, I felt...off, almost like I was drunk. By the time we sat down at the new spot, I said, "I feel like my head is expanding," like it was being pumped full of helium. "It's your third eye opening," someone said, I thought jokingly. "Ohhhhh yeah," said my birthday friend. "I forgot that when I went to the evergreen room when my wife was pregnant, there were a bunch of drinks they said she couldn't have because she was pregnant." So I began googling the ingredients I didn't recognize and noticed that all of them said "Avoid consuming while pregnant or nursing." Therefore, the bad: if there are ingredients that people don't know offhand are bad to consume while pregnant or nursing, they need to be indicated on the menu. If they can asterisk drinks with caffeine, they can denote this as well. I would not have ordered the hot chocolate had I known. I wasn't aware of the "hippy dippy" nature of this place, as the locals were, so it didn't even occur to me to ask. If they fix that one thing in the menu, I'd give them five stars!
