I found the wax shack here on yelp, saw all the 5 star reviews and you can't beat the prices that's for sure. It's a cute little house smack dab in the middle of old town Murrieta. I made an appointment for a Brazilian wax. I've had one done before and the results were amazing but the place I went to is too far from me now. I felt the waxing was too rushed and it started becoming very painful. She slowed down which helped. I noticed some hairs were left behind which wasn't the case the first time I had it done. Every single hair was removed and nothing grew back for a month and a half. Don't get me wrong, Chrissy is a very nice person. My experience wasn't what I was expecting. read more

Second, I love the name of the company (it used to be called Sexy Beast Waxing, and the story behind it is very cute). I just moved from Massachusetts a few months ago, so I'm still feeling out people and places I can trust. I needed to find someone to thread my eyebrows (been a fan for years)...my skin is pretty sensitive to waxing. I found out about Chrissy through Yelp, and I was convinced she was my gal from the start! The conversation was easy the whole time, and Chrissy is very detailed and careful. When someone is providing a service, I can only hope to expect the level of professionalism Chrissy provides, and it's even better with her great personality! She is a smart and generous business woman. She told me ahead of time she was new at threading and hadn't mastered it as of yet, so she offered to wax if it didn't go well, all without charge. I even asked for a quick upper lip wax as well. During my first visit, I was sitting in the chair for an hour because of the threading, but I truly appreciate that Chrissy was making an honest effort (she's getting the hang of it), and I had such a fun experience. I'm just gonna get straight to it. I've had brazilians done before some bad some good. I'm SO freaking happy I found Chrissy! I finally can stop searching for a waxer! She uses the wax itself to pull the hairs, and does small portions at a time. It didn't hurt! It doesn't hurt because the wax doesn't pull the skin on the hair itself. I hope all first timers really listen to my review because she will take care of you. And on top of that her prices are very reasonable. I went to another spot called the wax lounge in downtown riverside and it was a horrible experience so don't believe the hype. Chrissy KNOWS what she's doing. Thank you Chrissy. Everyone knows how uneasy it is going to a new salon for this service, but Chrissy made things so comfortable and she is very professional. Just left Sexy Beast Waxing. It was my first time getting a Brazilian wax and now I wish I had done it years ago. Crissy was Great. She explained everything before my appointment, sent me a text reminder and was so informative during the session. She just gained a customer for life. First of all let me say that waxing can be unpleasant, and uncomfortable. However I've bn to the wax Shack a multiple times now, and Chrissy she is very good at her craft. I might even say it's bn as painless. I'm not sure if it's the wax, or her experience, but she's good (no exaggeration!) .
