I found Balance Wellspace Integrative Medicine, which advertised that it helped with these issues. After reading the reviews and researching the company, I scheduled a preliminary consultation to see if they could help me with my problems. I told them that I had been struggling with this for over five years and explained that traditional medicine offered no answers. The team at the center conducted an evaluation and provided me with an 8-week plan consisting of three sessions per week. While there was no guarantee that their treatments would help, they led me to believe that they had treated others with similar conditions. They cited cases in which other patients had resumed an active life and engaged in activities such as playing golf. After faithfully attending each session, I noticed no change in my symptoms or function, which was a clear sign that the treatments were ineffective. I believe that they should have known, following their initial evaluation, that they wouldn't be able to do anything with their treatments that would actually work for me. I invested a great deal of time and money in what appears to be an empty promise. While I know there was no guarantee, I want to warn others before they put time and money into an empty promise.

I was welcomed by the kind staff members and even got some great advice from the trainer. After I was finished with my appointments through Groupon; I wanted to utilize the chiropractic services that they offer. I have many friends and clients that tell me about the benefits of it and was excited to try it out myself. The nurse did XRays and brain scans to see what they would be working with and after that, I made the appointment for an adjustment. After once again, going over the dynamic of my bones/ body I was presented with a package/program that was around 2.5k. Although being a technician myself and knowing the benefits of healing treatments and taking care of your body I was hesitant to make such an investment - especially with never getting a service like this done before. I wanted to get an adjustment and see how I would feel and then come back around to the idea of the package, which even their nurse said was fine. She stepped out and let me know that the Doctor would be in to talk to me about everything a little more in detail. To my shock, I could hear the entire conversation outside of the door and could hear his frustration that I did not purchase this package. I was then greeted by, what felt like an extremely discontented businessman instead of a Chiropractic professional. Dr. Pat was belittling, aggressive, and had a horrible bedside manner. Instead of being informational or helpful, he made me feel stupid for being there. I will never be going back to this facility and I will not be recommending any of my connections to come here. It is a shame that Dr. Pat's aggressive personality reflects so poorly on their establishment.

I've been having weekly massages with Kate for 6 weeks or so now, and I cannot recommend her…read moreenough. Massage is critical for my health, as I've got a disabling chronic illness that keeps me quite sedentary (and with a hyper-sensitive nervous system and low pain tolerance). I've had monthly massage as part of physical therapy, for years- but since March 2020 I hadn't had a single one. So I was in pretty bad shape when I first went to Kate. And by the end of my 60-minute session, my chronic pain was so far reduced by her skill, I almost wept with relief. She's not the cheapest massage therapist I've ever had- but she's by far the best, and worth every penny. Even days when I'm not in pain, I can feel the difference after her massage. And she varies her technique and focus based on how I'm feeling as well as her own expertise. Every massage with her has made a noticeable difference in my body, for the better. She's also very personable and calm, doesn't try to chat at me during the massage, and has created a calming, welcoming environment with her studio (from the electric fireplace to the music, to the warming massage table, the cleanliness of the space, the plants and crystals, etc.) Her cupping machine is interesting, and her massage lotion is great for my dry, sensitive skin. She's a very positive, kind person (as well as being observant) and clearly is continuing to develop her considerable skill.
