I reached a point where I felt like my practice was stuck, and gym yoga wasn't enough anymore, I tried AYP, simply because it was nearby. I truly lucked out! From the moment you walk in the door, you feel welcome, and part of a family. The classes have plenty of breathing room, yet still intimate. Instruction is given with care, and particular to each student. Everyone feels like a peer, regardless of experience, and the environment is very nuturing. I'm so glad I chose to break out of my routine, and discover such a gem.

It is also too warm in there. I was not all that pleased with the yoga classes except the fab gong class but it was her last day. I tried the T'ai Chi class and fell in love with the grace of Rasoul the instructor and a student whom I later learned had been a dancer. I bought a package of 20 classes and stated my intent was for TC only. Sadly I was very disappointed and upset that students lead the class for most of the time and the instructor sits on his fanny. I called to explain my dilemma and Barbara Adams( owner) said I should address it with Rasoul. I tried but to no avail. He is inflexible and so is the owner. Where is their Namaste?

First off the studio is right next to something with kids like a kids center and you can hear kids screaming outside when you're supposed to be in zen ... I've been coming to Remedy Pilates for almost 3 years and it has completely changed how my body…read moremoves and looks. I started more than 75 lbs overweight -- my trainer suggested we try Pilates and we picked Remedy because it was close to home. After a few group classes I realized I needed more one-on-one attention, so I started training with Jess Pate. Over the next year I lost 45 lbs and got hooked. When Jess's schedule filled up, she connected me with Peyton Kirke, who has been amazing working around my ankle and shoulder issues since she's dealt with similar limitations herself before she began Pilates. I'm a pretty confident person, but Pilates humbled me fast (I fell in well during my very first class -- if you know, you know!). Thanks to Jess, Peyton, and the whole team, I can now keep up with everyone in class. Kelly Snailum has built such a warm, welcoming studio here. Every instructor is great -- Steve, Erika, Alexis, and Jacque, just to name a few. Remedy doesn't just feel like a workout, it feels like a community that supports you through the highs and lows. When I called, the receptionist seemed overwhelmed, abruptly said she'd figure it out, and hung up. I later learned they used my account for someone else's purchase and told me to "check my account." Why should I have to check anything? Staff should be confirming the correct customer account before making purchases. Very concerning and unprofessional.
